Too expensive
Staff were very good and the themes for the golf are gud but the courses are very very short £14 for 2 of us the course lasted less than 10 minutes daylight robbery you should get all 3 courses for what they charge for 1, not worth the money 😒
Excellent
Great service from luke and sian and beth. Very attentive to detail and very accommodating. Prompt service and extremely friendly service. Would highly recommend. Thanks for the excellent experience guys!
Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!
Went to the Shoreditch location on the Easter weekend, and upon arrival, it was DEAD. The photos on Google are quite deceiving as the make the place seem warm, fun, inviting and friendly. We were greeted by a young lady at reception who had a stinking attitude - condescending and not very friendly, but she did offer us to start out game 20 minutes earlier as it wasn’t that busy. We then went to get drinks and the chap who served us was quite friendly.
The drinks were not great, and overly priced. Now, on to the game itself. This was my first mini golf experience, so was trying to figure out how it works - grabbed a pair of clubs and went to the course only to realise we needed a pencil. Back to reception I went to leave our jackets in the cloakroom and ask for pencils, and again with the attitude from the young lady. Anyway, we proceeded with the game, starting with Pablo then moving on to Gary afterwards. The Pablo course was meh, and we were done in about 15 minutes as there was a group of about 6 guys in front of us. Else, I think we’d have finished in about 10 minutes. We then went over to Gary and that was worse than Pablo in terms of the fun factor - Gary was bland and we also finished in about 10 minutes.
The venue is very dimly lit and has a very weird aura - it is dark, dingy and smells musty. The atmosphere is not very friendly and inviting and the staff (apart from the chap who was serving drinks) would benefit from some sort of customer service course. Will definitely not be returning.
The savage craic with the holes
The savage craic with the holes, the vibe and music are great
Took payment from a 12-year-old, refused entry, refused refund — only refunded after legal escalation
My 12-year-old son booked a half-term session at Junkyard Golf Liverpool with four friends using his saved pocket money (£49).
When the boys arrived, they were refused entry due to an 18+ / licensing policy and told they were not entitled to a refund.
No service was provided.
Despite explaining that the booking had been made by a 12-year-old and that the boys had been turned away, customer support initially refused to refund the money, relying on their Terms & Conditions and suggesting we may have “missed” the age policy while booking.
Only after formally raising the legal position regarding contracts with minors and refusal to supply was the refund eventually processed — several days later.
If a venue cannot admit unaccompanied 12-year-olds, it should not allow them to complete bookings and take payment in the first place.
Very disappointing experience, particularly given this involved children who had saved their own money for a half-term treat.
Refund received — but only after unnecessary escalation.
Great fun
Great fun! Friendly staff. Good drinks too! Highly recommend.

READ THE SMALL PRINT
Our 18 year old son was not allowed in as his ID was on his phone rather than in another form!
Our fault for not reading T&Cs but I still think they could have used their discretion due to the fact we were obviously a family if 5 not a group of 18 year olds!!
It was a family celebration and we were left very disappointed 😞
lovely staff
Super lovely place for a little trip out and very friendly welcoming staff who were very helpful!! Ella especially was lovely and made sure we knew where the accessible areas were and made us very comfortable!
christmas party🤩
