Scammed by Apple .

Scammed by Apple .
Purchased an app and it does not work , contacted customer service to ask for a refund ant the refund was refused without any reason and when I asked what was the reason I did not get an answer just been stayed that there is no more information that they can provide about the case as iTunes closed the case , so my conclusion is that if someone has a bad day you don’t get your refund.
So I can say that I have been Scammed by Apple so don’t buy apps from Apple store unless you know you will use that app forever as you will not get your money back if the app is not working you get Scammed by APPLE I have emails and screenshots to prove that my review is genuine .

Worse customer service experience ever

Worse customer service experience ever. Lost and airpod.... decided to order a replacement Saturday evening via chat. Paid $76 for an new one, found lost airpod in washer next morning; let it charge and my afternoon it was working. Contacted Apple to try and cancel order. 2 hrs in and unable to cancel. Claimed it was shipped already but could not provide tracking or company; then came back and said all sales final. Did not state that ANYWHERE on the page to check out or anywhere else. Low and behold it’s on the very bottom of their terms and conditions on the last line AFTER you check out. So not exactly visible before checking out. So I’m out $76 so unless one of kids lose one- we have an extra. 2 hrs on the phone and no one could do anything to stop it from shipping or anything. A billion dollar company couldn’t just stop an order that hasn’t even been packed or shipped. I’ve used an iPhone since the first one; and simply will not continue a company with poor customer service.

We are a 100% Apple company, and for good reason!

We are a 100% Apple company, and for good reason. When we have an issue and we contact Apple it gets resolved. During a recent trip to the Apple Store (with social distancing) we had a less than ideal outcome where I was charged nearly $500 more for a product due to an improperly applied discount code. I left the store less than thrilled and penned an email to Tim Cook as I heard he reads customer emails.
The next day I got a reply from someone in their executive relations dept and he took great care of us. Though they were not able to undo the charge as it was technically correct, he was able to make sure that it was a fair outcome for us, and more importantly, he took the time to listen to me vent about the experience, and not make excuses like many companies do. He said he would look into it and get back with me, which he did a few days later.
Apple is one of those companies that you hold to a higher standard as they have set them apart from the competition as being a company that will take care of their customers. It is for that reason that my company is 100% Apple (well, 99.99% we have 1 old laptop to run our laser cutter as they don't make a Mac version of the software).

Terrible experience

Terrible experience.
Got a beats by dre pill, which they own.
It broke, and they arent giving a refund.

They also have a re-call open on this product, and despite that refusing to provide a refund. Ridiculous.

Avoid iTunes, buy the hard copies

iTunes has been poor from the very beginning. It's always been a very poor app with poor features and prone to getting corrupted. Fixing those corrupted databases has been a major headache every few years.
(If you use Windows computers, you have some alternatives for music management, but not so with Macs)
The real rot seemed to start when they introduced the iTunes Match service, but Apple manage to consistently make iTunes worse with every new release.
However, it is now clear that quite a lot of albums are being removed from iTunes (for whatever reason) and when that happens, if your database gets corrupted, you will not be able to download the music. You will not get a refund and you will not get access to what you purchased.
Support staff (always cheerful but then with respect, it's not their money that has been wasted) will quickly refer you to the small print of the Terms & Conditions.
So caveat emptor: buyer beware.
Go back to buying the CDs or DVDs and rip them to a hard drive as needed. Decades later, you will still have access to what you purchased - unlike with Apple.
In the meantime, write all your purchased albums (via playlists) to a CD. It's time-consuming and not ideal, but at least you still have the music.
