Poor, Poor and triple poor

What more can I say about this pathetic company. I ordered 50 + Planatronic headsets for a company business order which needed to be shipped to another location. Called them up to see if they had them in stock before placing the order and explained to them what I nededed. They confirmed they had them in stock. Placed the order by credit card on their website. 4 hours later, I got an email saying they would not accept the order I placed on their website as their credit card authoring system had flagged the order, and I should pay funds directly into their bank account instead. In this day and age and considering the bad news and reviews about Insight (I only checked afterwards) - fat chance. I replied the email and asked them to cancel the order as I'd go to Amazon instead as I needed a quick next day delivery instead of mess arounds. Called Amazon, placed the order successfully no questions asked and was delivered next day. However, I then find out that my credit card has been maxed out - Insight had placed a pending order on my credit account for goods they were not intending to deliver. I used another card, but then contacted Insight to release the pending order as I had already said I didn't want the items any longer. 5 + days later, its still showing pending, with no response from customer services. In the end had to call my credit card company to cancel pending order due to no response / action from Insight. Sort yourselves out - Never ever again.

dont order, might be scamming for data

first time ordered and immediately disappointed. I wouldnt recommend ordering from them. As this was a pricing error and they have a clause as an excuse for this so i dont think this is the first time. Therefor for me this looks like a scam to get people ordering and scam them for data collection.

Avoid - Poor delivery and customer service

I have used Insight for years and they used to be a great company to deal with. Not any more! We qualify for free next day shipping but the shipping is awful. They blame the delivery company for the delays and tell me that our order was shipped the same day. If they can’t organise their shipping for next day delivery, they really should not advertise next day shipping.
The latest of a long line of delayed deliveries was an urgent network switch. This was ordered on Thursday lunch time and has still not been delivered (Monday morning). They have informed me that the delay is with ParcelForce and not them. As they have sold me the goods with next day delivery, they must ensure that the goods arrive to me by the end of the next day.
This happens regularly with the company.
We ordered some headphones (marked as in stock on their website). Some were delivered next day and the rest delivered a week later (after the training event had taken place).
I have spoken with our account manager this morning and requested that they close down our account. Our account manager informed me that she regularly logs issues with the delivery company but there is nothing else that she can do. Insight are now a complete joke. The goods they sell can generally be found cheaper elsewhere. There is no point in having loyalty to a company when they do not deliver.
We have now moved on and are in the process of closing down our account and moving to a decent supplier who actually cares.
AVOID THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING URGENT!!!

untrusted company Keep away

untrusted company Keep away ! offer some price if they didn't convinced they cancel after a couple days with the excuse is error on price, however them have similar Apple Watch still listed on the same price, bought that and cancelled as well, sound very dodgy company

I also fell victim to the £20 "re-stocking" fee. The whole process wasn’t great with Insight, from follow a Google shopping ad for a 500GB SSD hard drive which in fact lead to the 250GB version which was selling for a few pounds less than I could buy the 500GB from Amazon.

Unfortunately, in my haste to purchase the item I clicked on the cheapest Google shopping ad and didn’t double check the size on the website and purchased it.

Having quickly realised I had purchased the smaller drive I quickly sent an email to cancel the order which bounced back as undeliverable. I then sent a support ticket though the website requesting to cancel the order and stop it going out. Support came back and said they would try and stop it if they could, I made contact about 20mins after purchasing.

Checking their FAQ’s on the website it clearly states an order can be cancelled before the order moves to 'Order is shipping' status which happened 22hrs after I placed the order and therefore should had been cancelled as per my request within 20mins of ordering.

Anyway, the order got dispatched and I’m now facing a £20 restocking fee even though I requested the order to be cancelled. My advice is be very careful when ordering from Insight everything looks to be more expensive than Amazon, and had I purchased from Amazon I would have been able to cancel the order within minutes or even return FOC without a restocking fee. The 500GB SSD drive I actually wanted is nearly £30 cheaper on Amazon, be carefully when purchasing through Insight Direct (UK)Limited especially if following a Google shopping Ad as it could be leading to the wrong product! Will never deal with this company again or recommend.

Do I except paying £20 restocking for an order I quickly asked to be cancelled and you sent anyway! NO

Awful returns policy

My company purchased 4 headset adaptors at £6.99 each. They were incorrect and didn't fit the devices so I requested a return for the 3 unopened items and was informed that they would charge us a £20 "restock fee" for the return so there's no point really.
Terrible customer service and will never order from them again.
Be aware of their 'Return Policy T's&C's.

Worst customer experience I've ever had…

Worst customer experience I've ever had online.

I ordered an external hard drive from this company and after hearing nothing for a week (no dispatch note) I logged into my account to find my order no longer existed. At this point I contacted support.

Apparently the company did not want to honour the price they listed the hard drive at and this is why my order was not dispatched. Instead of contacting me about this and cancelling the order they decided to just silently cancel the order and leave the customer to chase their refund when they wonder why their product hasn't been dispatched.

I would recommend avoiding this company at all costs unless you want to waste a lot of time and effort fighting for your money back, and certainly don't use the company if you need a product quickly like I did because it may well not turn up at all.

I feel the one star I am required to give as a minimum is being too generous.

I ordered a hdd for a fair price from…

I ordered a hdd for a fair price from them. They took the money from my bank account and their website said my order is accepted.
Five days later I checked back and I saw nothing on their website.
My order just simply disappeared!
I had to open a ticket ask them to kindly refund my money.
I'm wondering what would happen if I forgot about this order...
Avoid this company. If you find a good deal then they are going to cancel your order!

Terrible customer support that lying…

Terrible customer support that lying his own clients! They sold the "Integral V SeriesVersion 2 - SSD 120 GB" at a promo price, then sent an e-mail that the price was wrong with a cancellation request. When enough people agreed to cancel their order, they start sending to the rest. Some people ordered more than 50 discs that currently sell in Amazon and Ebay. Is there anyone who wants to join and make a group complaint from this company?

Avoid disappointment shop elsewhere

Ordered a hard drive and got an email. When I checked email said order not accepted until dispatch. No further communication and when I chased them got a quick reply saying order canceled due to pricing error. Guess I'll be okay ordering from one of the many reliable company's out there in time for Christmas. If you spot a good deal from here avoid disappointment and shop elsewhere!

Avoid or loose your money

Absolutely rubbish company. I have placed an order, paid online and.... heard nothing from them at all. Later order simply disappeared from their server. After one week of waiting time I have sent an email and received response with no excuse and no detailed information about cancellation of my order.

I placed an order which was accepted…

I placed an order which was accepted however there was a problem with the card payment apparently Insight then asked me to pay via bank transfer instead. It states in the email that once they had received the funds they would release the order, so I sent the money as requested. Once they had received my money by bank transfer they then realised their was a pricing error and refused to sent the items I had ordered. I received a chain of emails from Insight that states they had cancelled the order, but then took payment from my anyway but never told me. So despite paying twice in two separate transactions for the same order and someone at Insight having to look at the order to re-request the funds, they still made mistakes and messed me about and refused to send the goods. This should not happen at all.

The Insight systems clearly are not up to standard and their internal checks are none existent obviously. Really they could do with changing the company name because they have zero insight in running an online eCommerce website.

I have also noticed that pricing are quite common at Insight when you read reviews which also proves their systems are not up to date enough in today's world.

I wont be ordering from this company again, there are much better companies out there that know what they are doing and have more robust systems in place that will save you time and money.

*******WARNING: ROGUE COMPANY IN OPERATION********

Ordered a hard drive last week and have still not received any shipping confirmation email?! I have logged into my account to check my orders and my order is no longer showing there?!
I'm guessing they have cancelled my order without even contacting me.

What an absolutely disgusting company.

AVOID and buy elsewhere that will actually ship your purchased items out!
