We’ve just returned home from a week in Lapland with Ingham’s and honestly couldn’t fault the experience.
From start to finish, everything was extremely well organised and the team were consistently helpful, supportive, and informative. It was clear that a lot of care had gone into planning the trip, which made the whole experience feel seamless and stress-free.
What really stood out, though, was how the team handled things at the end of the holiday when our return flight was cancelled (by the airport) due to the extreme cold (the average temperature across the week was -35). Despite the situation, communication was excellent throughout and everything was handled calmly and efficiently. We were kept fully informed at every stage and, remarkably, felt no stress at all — which says everything about how well the situation was managed.
A special mention must go to Matt and Alex, who were absolutely fantastic. Their professionalism, reassurance, and dedication made a potentially stressful situation feel completely manageable.
We wouldn’t hesitate to travel with Ingham’s again and would highly recommend them to anyone considering a Lapland trip.

My family and I were after a true Lapland, arctic experience. From the moment of booking, Inghams looked after us and were readily available to address any queries, not that there were many.
We were greeted at the airport, and staff were on hand to assist with the check-in procedure.
On our arrival in Finland, the staff were on hand and were always friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. Our hotel, Levi Spa, was brilliant. Levi is a lovely resort, the food was buffet style, and considering it catered to all guests, suited everyone's requirements. The weather was extreme, around -44 in remote areas, so some excursions were cancelled. Behind the scenes, refunds were being generated for the cancelled excursions, and staff were on hand to provide alternative ideas with their local knowledge.
Due to the extreme Arctic weather, we had a delay, but the Inghams team was not phased; they remained calm and organised, and we remained in our accommodation, and our board package remained in place. We were so well looked after, it was great. Logistically, the team was awesome. The team at the airport was on hand to assist wth our return. For a true Arctic experience, it was brilliant. I cannot fault Inghams at all, from booking to arriving, being at the resort and departing the resort it was brilliant and would recommend Inghams to anyone considering booking a holiday in Lapland.

We travelled to Levi, Lapland in January.
From the moment we booked our trip with Charlie we knew we had booked with the experts.
Every staff member we encountered on our trip was super attentive and friendly, they were able to give us lots of tips on how to fully enjoy our trip.
We had a brilliant experience with Inghams!

The initial booking enquiry was was helpful and straight forward as expected. However, when we came to book our lift tickets nearer the time of the holiday we chose to book them through Inghams to take away the hassle of buying/queuing at the ressort. Inghams then proceeded to take our money then direct us to the resort app where we fill in all our own details and organised the postage ourselves all after charging us an admin fee (£50 per head) to do no more than process the payment. After going through the resort app to complete our details we've since found it would actually work out £200 each cheaper to do it all through the resort app. After feeling mislead we contacted Inghams for a refund only to be told that wasn't possible. So in short we've had to do our own admin for what we thought we were paying for and now have the added anxiety of whether or not the passes will come in time from Canada to the UK. Im not sure if Inghams intentionaly mislead us or if there is a need for training or if it was a genuine oversight. But at £200 per person it's a big oversight.

Our ski holiday with Inghams was completely spoilt. Every single person in our party became ill with norovirus-type symptoms during the trip. It was obvious there was an outbreak at Hotel Mignon in Selva – many other guests at the hotel were also unwell at the same time.
As a result, we lost multiple days of skiing between us, lost days of expensive pre-paid lift passes, and spent days of the holiday confined to our rooms instead of on the slopes or enjoying dinners and apres.
What made the situation worse was Inghams’ response. Rather than accepting there may have been an issue at the hotel, they tried to dismiss it as a “wider area problem,” which seems highly unlikely given the number of guests affected in the same hotel. This felt like an attempt to avoid any responsibility or liability for the lost ski days and costs.
The holiday was completely ruined, and the week after returning home we still don’t feel fully recovered. For something that was meant to be a relaxing and enjoyable trip, this was incredibly disappointing. Things go wrong - it’s how you deal with it that counts.
Based on this experience, I would not recommend Inghams.

Booking with Inghams was spot on. The website worked, the pre-trip emails were reassuring, and everything before departure suggested we were in very capable hands. Sadly, once we landed in Finland, those hands appeared to be wearing mittens… and possibly pointing in different directions.
Organisation on arrival was, let’s say, optimistic. After a very brief update on the bus, we were invited to step off into -30°C temperatures so staff could explain where our rooms were and how digital door locks work. This ten-minute tutorial could easily have been delivered inside the warm bus, unless hypothermia is now part of the authentic Arctic experience.
The accommodation adventures continued when our friends discovered they had no hot water. Staff confidently assured them everything was fine and even claimed it had been tested, before later deciding to send someone to check. Plot twist: the boiler was broken. Shocking.
Contacting staff for non-emergency issues was also an adventure. When our digital door stopped working, the WhatsApp service helpfully advised that replies could take up to 45 minutes. Standing outside in -35°C waiting for a message really adds a certain edge to a holiday.
The return journey was affected by adverse weather and, to be fair, Inghams did manage to reroute us via another airport. Unfortunately, communication on the ground remained vague and confusing, making it feel more like a mystery tour than a travel plan.
A special mention goes to the moment I explained that my son had injured his back skiing and asked, very politely and happily offering to pay, about extra legroom seats for the flight home. I was told this wouldn’t be possible without a doctor’s certificate. Later that evening at home, I received a cheerful text thanking me for choosing Inghams and hoping the extra legroom seats had been helpful. Spoiler alert: they did not exist.
Overall, Inghams appears well set up to cater for guests needing extra assistance (I’ve never been on a flight with so many sunflower-wearing passengers), but the on-site service didn’t quite live up to that promise. With better staff training, clearer communication, and fewer briefings conducted in Arctic conditions, this could be a brilliant holiday. As it stands, it was memorable… just not always for the right reasons.

We had a great family ski holiday with Inghams in Norway. If you're an advanced skiier, or someone who wants to rack up as many runs and kms as you can, Myrkdalen may not be for you. But for a chilled trip, for intermediate and beginner skiiers, this was a lovely resort. Norway has a reputation for being expensive, and in places, it is - but you should also offset things like cheaper lift passes to view the value you're getting. Myrkdalen Hotel was wonderful - only steps from the main lift - and the food was great. It's really worth getting the half-board upgrade as there aren't too many alternative dining options. We enjoyed the fjord cruise and railway journey Inghams included in our package so we could explore a little further afield, and appreciated the flexibility on which day to take the trip so it didn't clash with ski school.

Great service, everything came together smoothly. Flights on time, transfer waiting for us, helpful ski hire, brilliant ski lessons for the children and the accommodation was comfortable, warm and had a lovely pool. Zero complaints, an excellent week away.

Fantastic service from start to finish – Val Thorens
We’ve just enjoyed a brilliant ski holiday in Val Thorens, and I couldn’t fault the service from the Inghams Ski team.
The booking process was incredibly easy, and any changes we needed to make after booking were handled quickly, helpfully, and without any additional charges – which made the whole experience feel refreshingly stress-free.
The local team in resort were outstanding: friendly, approachable, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. It makes a huge difference knowing there’s a capable and welcoming team on the ground if you need anything.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Inghams and will definitely be booking with them again next year.

Wish there was an option for zero stars. The Senior Guests Relations Executive I have dealt with was lacking in basic compassion and understanding. The issue before him was a previously undisclosed term about deducting an admin charge from a refund for the ski hire due to a ski accident within the first 30 minutes of the week-long ski trip. The local ski hire could not refund the money directly because they had not been paid by Inghams prior to our ski trip. Otherwise they could have. Inghams then instead of honouring the refund that the local ski hire company would have given against the medical report (dislocated shoulder & post-trauma soft-tissue persistent pain) said that they would not and if they do they'd deduct an admin charge of £35. This, together with 1 of 6 days hire wiped out nearly 40% of the prepaid sum of £208. They never disclosed such (or any) terms & conditions at the time of booking or at the time extras were added to our booking. The Guest Relations team did not show any basic understanding of the legal terms and Inghams failure to disclose any such deductions. Nor did he show any compassion or empathy for the annual ski trip to be spoilt or over before it'd begun. Not only was the return of the ski hire necessary (for medical reasons), it was not a voluntary choice and happened directly in the ski resort. Long story cut short, he then referred to some non-existent senior management and basically said I can just disappear and complain to ABTA if I want to. I was a returning customer who was planning 3 trips for 2 persons in 2026. These will now not go ahead. The executive's Maths was wrong to - as he said he was eligible to deduct £25, but deducted £34.84. Greedy does not quite sum it up. Not only he cannot deduct any charges if they are not disclosed in advance, especially for events outside of one's control, he does not even show enough understanding as the person ultimately responsible for customer satisfaction and experience. Whilst I will escalate this privately, my advice to others is - book your extras directly with service providers. They will refund the payments against accidents in their own ski resort or if their lift patrols take the skier down. RIML Sports would have done so too if they had already been paid by Inghams who got the money 3 months earlier. You will even get 10% discounts if you go directly rather than Inghams taking their commission and in addition also deducting unlawful and arbitrary admin fees leaving you short of 40% of your prepayment for 6 days for only 30 mins on skis. Short of money and a bitter after-taste. An experience to be remembered and custom worth 000s each year lost.

Excellent value, service and experience throughout. This is the second time we’ve chosen Inghams due to great communication and accuracy. We were surprised at the excellent quality of the food at Hotel Melezes and prompt comfy transfers. All in all great value. Will choose Inghams again no doubt. 🎿

From the information and help during the booking process, to the location experts Jayne and Katya in Norway Myrkdalen and the staff at the resort - our family ski trip was incredible. I will not hesitate to recommend Inghams to family and friends. We will never forget this trip and the friendly helpful Ingham staff along the way.

I believe the booking system isn't clear enough. We booked as a married couple assuming we would be in a twin room, we were offered single rooms on separate floors, with no option to switch to a twin room. We were also overcharged on our bill at the checkout despite us protesting that they had got the bill wrong. We were eventually refunded. I must add that our in resort rep was excellent and did all she could to assist with the issues
Update - Inghams don't seem particularly interested in our issues so have reduced to 1 star!! Very disappointing as this was our first trip with them

Fantastic holiday, there were some niggles but the staff and honest willingness to help was amazing, they actually do care and want to help. My first ski trip ever and I definitely would go with Inghams again and again. I know companies always want to be good at customer service and I generally appreciate it and put high score because nothing bad happened but with my Inghams team if I could put 20 stars I would!

Five star service from Inghams from the point of booking our holiday, overall costs, quality of the hotel we stayed in and the contact from our rep throughout our trip. Highly recommend.

We visited levi lapland with inghams for Christmas and had an amazing holiday. Inghams communication leading up to the holiday was fantastic and created alot of excitement! (For the adults too!)
The reps were always friendly and had a good hotel presence. We done a ski mobile safari which was great. However i would say a litlle dull for young children who have to sit in a pod.
Husky and reindeer ride was pretty special. Inghams reps were always entertaining children, which was appreciated as there was alot of waiting about on the excursions. My son is autistic so sadly this entertainment didnt suit him, but we could not fault the teams efforts. We travelled home the day after an incident at the airport, and the airport was a little chaotic. Inghams staff provided first class assistance to us given my son has some issues with waiting around. Thank you so much for this. The team are fantastic and we would definitely us inghams again.
My only feeback would be the santa visit excursion was too long for 4 hours. There really isnt that much to do there for that long, and the atmosphere could have been a bit more exciting, but this was not inghams fault to be fair! I think my expectations for this were maybe a bit higher. The santa visit itself was pretty magical! Would definitely use inghams again, and recommend to other SEND families too.
Katie stood out to us, she was a star and her energy was 110% at all times. Give her a bonus!! 😂
Thank you inghams for an unforgettable Christmas trip!
