I don't think this app is for renting houses. I have sent out so many applications and have not even gotten back 1 viewing. I paid for the plus services, as soon as a notification that suits me is sent, I apply immediately I don't even wait a second yet, I haven't gotten any positive response.

Short story: I paid for a 2-week promotion for better placing on top of a free ad, the promotion ended when the free ad expired in a few days. When I made the promotion contract, the system gave absolutely no warning that the promotion service will be cut short even though you pay full, and customer service kept repeating that it was the way it is without actually supporting.
I have purchased a 2-week top placing promotion on my free ad that was gong to expire in less than a week, and according to the confirmation email from the promotion contract it will last for 2 weeks and I natually thought the add will be extended like a normal person. But then after a few days without any contact, I went and found that the ad has been deactivated, even though it's still within the valid period of the promotion contract. I contacted the support about this, and the only answer i got was 'the promotion ends when the free ad expired'. First of all, this statement was never made when the contract was made, and as shown in the confirmation email the promotion will last for 2 weeks, anyone with common sense would think that the add will be active till then for this promotion to work because I paid for 2 weeks. How can you hold me to a clause that I'm not informed about? Is this even legal? Secondly, the support member kept repeating the same thing without showing proof that this was communicated in any way, and then they updated the system and set the promotion contract to have expired on the day when I contacted then (which was already a few days after the ad has been inactive). Now when I tried to make a call to their support line, the agent on the phone says I'm a liar tryng to get more things out of a contract that is already expired (which is manually changed by their colleague!) This level of support behavior is unheard of !
If Immoscout24 is going to respond to my message, please start by showing me the proof that I was informed the 2-week promotion would end prematurely if the free ad expires, and also explain how this behavior makes sense.

You're forced into minimum 3 or 6 month contracts in order to use their premium service and without it, you can't even view or message listings. Unfair structure that is monopolizing the already unfair housing market in Germany. If you find an apartment sooner you have to waste hundreds of euros for nothing.

Everything is behind a paywall.
Advertised as a free website when its paid. Don't bother if you're not going to pay their premium version.

Terrible experience. The subscription is hard to cancel, there is no clear notification when a payment fails, and at the slightest unpaid invoice — even following a simple bank card change — they immediately instruct a law firm without any prior warning. The result: accumulating fees for a service I wasn't even using anymore. Zero flexibility, zero decent customer service. Avoid at all costs.

Even one star is too much. The entire website is a scam, doesn't let people cancel their contracts and forces people to give up their Widerrufsrecht without trying any of what they were promised for.

Complete scam. Every single listing is locked behind their awful overpriced subscription service. You’re forced into a multiple month contract with no way of paying month to month (scam). They prey on those desperate for housing (something that should be a human right by the way). Avoid at all costs.

I subscribed to the TenantPlus service via ImmoScout24ch using a 7-day free trial. The trial ended on 26 June 2026, and just hours later — overnight on 27 June 2026, at around 5:00 a.m. — CHF 29.95 was debited from my account (invoice no. 2273210), without any prior reminder email and before I had even had a chance to use the paid service.

I immediately requested cancellation of the subscription and a full refund, given that:

• No use whatsoever was made of the service during the paid period — the charge is entirely disproportionate to what was actually delivered.
• Under Swiss law, Article 8 of the Federal Act against Unfair Competition (UCA) specifically targets general terms and conditions that create a significant and unjustified imbalance to the detriment of the consumer, contrary to good faith.
• Article 3(1)(s) UCA also requires transparency in online contract formation. Charging a customer with zero prior warning, right as a free trial silently converts into a paid subscription, falls well short of that standard.

This kind of “silent auto-renewal” practice — no reminder, no opt-out window, immediate charge — is exactly the sort of thing consumer protection bodies like the FRC and SECO exist to flag. I’ll be escalating there if this isn’t resolved properly.

Warning to everyone searching for a flat: this platform systematically undermines the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. You are pushed to click a single button („Unlock exclusive listings now") that, in the fine print, also makes you „agree" that your withdrawal right expires upon „full performance of the contract." Consent and waiver are bundled into one sentence and one click - no checkbox as required by law.

The absurd part: the very same text says the remaining „credits" only unlock new listings „in the following months." So the service clearly keeps running – nothing is „fully performed." Yet you are supposedly meant to lose your withdrawal right in one click.

When I tried to withdraw within the deadline, it was refused. And here is the worst part: they flat-out refuse to prove to me whether and when I ever supposedly consented to waive my withdrawal right. They told me they do not provide that proof as a matter of principle. In my view this is completely against the law, and I have reported it to consumer protection.

There is no option to flag or block abusive realtors. Customer care is available only for paid customers. It has been a week since I emailed them about a scam listing and racisally abusive realtor. And they still have not sent a response. They do not really care about safety or hate speech.

This company is the biggest fraudster scamming European customers with its real estate search engine services. First, they sell you a ´Plus´membership. They claim that the number of results provided is higher in volume and superior in quality, which is basically a joke. After they have lured the customer into a €35/month subscription model, they BLOCK the search results offered to contact for free and charge, without any reason, per contact attempt: 11.000 points. Basically, you immediately run out of points and must spend much more. An additional €5 charge per month comes on top of it to become a ´PLUS PREMIUM PLUS´ member. Avoid these scammers by all means. Go to OHNE MAKLER.net, KLEINANZEIGEN.de and MEINESTADT.de. These services are free and deliver much better results in terms of volume. These guys from Berlin, who operate this hoax, should be put in prison for ´FRAUD´.

Not so satisfy

If you try to cancel your subscription you will get ignored by customer service and they won’t respond to your emails. But then they are happy to send plenty of emails saying you owe money.
