I was born 1955 ,I am one of the women that has had her pension cruelly taken from her ,working from the age of 16 ,doing two jobs a part time one on top of a full time one ,paying my NI and taxes ,thinking that I'd get my pension at sixty ,I had dreams of being able to travel, spend time with my grandchildren,find a hobby ,but NO had to work doing 12 hour shifts driving day and night ,until my body went into respritory failure ,through something caught in the environment ,couldn't even say it was through cigarette as I've never smoked ,so at 63 I was expected to sign on for jobseekers ,in January in bad weather expected to go to local job centre ,only way to get there was taxi ,20 round trip out of my 317 a month every two weeks, until a kind employee at the job centre said it was unacceptable and done over the phone interviews ,but I should never of been put in that position ,I'm 65 now on oxygen and don't have quality of life ,getting my pension at 60 would of helped me to have some money to fall back on ,I'm so disappointed in the way the government have treated us 50s ladies

Like many women born in the 1950 I was never told/ made aware of pension age increasing by six years I received a letter at the age of 58 telling me my pension age was 66 . No one can plan for 6 years on £0 .this govt need to admit they got it wrong .

Born in 1955 should have retired in 2015. Six years added to SPA, insuffucient notice, retirement in 2021 age 66. 44 FULL years NICs paid. 5 years when not paid enough due to unavoidable circumstances bereavements, divorce, p/t work around family commitments etc. Contracted out without my knowledge reducing state pension. Money owed to Govt re WTC due to complicated process. Govt takes as much money as it can from us through immoral means. Thousands of pounds stolen from 50sWomen. Worst Government I have ever had to suffer under.

This corrupt government are a disgrace. All they think about is feathering there own nests.Dont give a toss about the working class who are paying money into them. Robbed us 1950’s women of 6 years pension and don’t give a dam that lots are struggling with health issues and have to sell their homes to survive. There should be an investigation into this because what they have done to us is a criminal act of theft..

This government have no regard for the population. This is the worst administration I have lived through, I am dizzy from the u-turns and fear for my life given the poor handling of the pandemic.
All this and the theft of my state pension to pay off debts accrued by government, the joy of having to listen to Johnson and Hancock is soul destroying Stop calling state pension a benefit.

Hopeless and incompetent on all levels none of them are worth their pay. Stealing democracy, untold deaths and poverty abound and they say they are doing a good job. oNS tells a different story.

Absolutely untrustworthy , stole our pension contributions in order to fund other projects . Not informed that my pension age was to rise despite my contributions paid throughout my working life . Do not recommend . False advertising and shady practice more reminiscent of a back street pawn broker

No notice of spa changes. Discrimination over a lifetime. Men had their NI paid from the age of 60 since 1983-2018. Many of us have very physically demanding jobs, along with failing health & caring responsibilities. Over 90k 50s born women have died & not had receipt of any pension. Many more are high risk now & having to continue to work, whilst using foodbanks, selling homes & using up savings, if they were fortunate enough to have earned enough to save. Your government & cabinet have shown their contempt for us. You are totally untrustworthy & disinterested in the well being of the people of this country. Our only purpose is to provide you with the taxes that you squander on contracts to those who facilitate your goals. You have discredited our nation.

Couldn't run a bath. Blame previous Labour Government fir everything rather than take responsibility for their own shambles. Corrupt and rotten to the core. can we exchange for Jacinta Arden and get a refund?

Failed to and continues to fail to address and rectify the pension age changes issue which is compounded by the DWP failure {which continues}to notify 1950's and 1960's born women that the government has broken the pension contract and would now not pay pensions on the contractually agreed 60th birthday.

As A 1950s women whose pension date was changed to an extra 6yrs without notice I have lost approx £54,000 I feel cheated and a worthless citizen. This government has total ignored every one of us. There are women losing their homes , living in poverty and dying as a result of these changes...totally let down and will never vote for this government now I know how heartless. Absolutely shameful

This government only care about the rich and their buddies, they praise the very people who keep this country running and then treat them like dirt. Capitalism is not working anymore, I feel like we are living in the Victorian era where patriarchal rules apply, equality for women is a very thin veneer, as in the 1950s women's pension issue which is a total stitch up. We have a propaganda machine worthy of praise from the old guard in a right wing dictatorship.

The standards of behaviour and arrogance are beyond belief. The shambolic management of the pandemic has been farcical. Then we have a situation whereby we will potentially breaking international law, all credibility seems to have been thrown away

(Sue B) I am a 1950s born woman. There is one month's difference in age between my husband and myself. His State Pension Age has been increased by ONE year and mine by SIX YEARS! The government call it "equality". Yes, us women do want equality but us 1950s women did definitely not have equality! We were brought up in an era where the boys did carpentry/metal work at school and the girls did housecraft/sewing. In the 1980s when my husband and I had our son, I continued to work and my husband was a "stay at home dad". My employer (major high street bank) at that time opened one of the first employer childcare nursery facilities in conjunction with a local college and at the same time, the local "mother and toddler" group which my husband attended with our son, renamed themselves as "parent & toddler" group to adhere to changing times. I have a sister 18 months younger than me so as a family, we have been hit double by this State Pension scandal. They picked on us 1950s women because we were an easy target and they didn't think we would hit back. I have attended demonstrations, been in constant correspondence with my MP and followed the campaigns with daily interest leading up to the recent court case, and yet we are still being treated as though we do not exist. Never mind the fact that we probably started some form of work at the age of 15/16. My little home-made banner which I take to the demonstrations says "SOS - State Pension thieves about! Warning issued by the 1950s women". I think that says it all!!

The role of Government is to serve, to uphold our law and protect and lead the nation. That is not happening as the Government stumble from one ill-thought-out diktat to another. It is their moral duty to ensure the poor, the vulnerable and elderly have the physical and financial support they need. In the last ten years, the stringent assessments, forms and tightening of criteria have seen the most needy stripped of help. Our state pension is the worst in Europe and is now pushed out of reach of many who will not live to see any of the money they have paid in. The 50s women have been particularly hard hit by this, having expected to retire at 60 and having arrived there to find the finish line pushed on up to 6 years. Covid has exacerbated this problem with many in their 60s losing their jobs or needing to shield. Our money has been wasted on PPE, apps, tracers and instead of getting these from trusted suppliers the Government have awarded millions without tender and pockets have been lined. The Government forgot to turn the gas on for the oven-ready Brexit and now we need to eat humble pie with the EU instead. You were voted in to care for the people of this country and you are failing miserably.

1956 born. 1970 start working part time, whilst attending college. Given age 60 as the year I can retire and claim my State Pension. 1974 change from part time to full time employment and continue to be employed, full time, until age 58 when I discover that I can no longer draw my State Pension in 2 yrs time, but must wait until I am aged 66. That’s another 8 years working and 6 years of stolen pension (circa £54k). Now aged 64 I am caring full time for my 87 yr old Mum, not working, but claiming Carer’s Allowance (first ‘Benefit’ ever claimed), which I will lose once I reach 66 and qualify for my State Pension, but I won’t be expected to stop looking after Mum. This Government has stolen my dignity, my right to work and my money and I want it all back. If this was a product I would advise against wasting your time and money on it. This ‘Company/Government’ has only themselves and lining their own pockets in mind and is completely detached from life for the man/woman on the street.

I have no faith in this government I have worked from the age of 15years and paid into national insurance . When I started work at 15 and started paying my NI I thought I entered an agreement with the government to retire at 60 years Yet without any notice I have been knocked back and will be paying another 6 years pension Meaning I won’t get my pension till I’m 66 years old Disgusting no letter no warning

Started work at 16 yrs old.
Told I would receive my State Pension at 60yrs old. I’m nearly 66yrs old now. Left nursing because of ill health. Denied any benefits.
Government of UK has stolen 6 years of my State Pension!

I began work at the age of 15 I was promised that I will be able to retire at 60,i got no letter no notifications to say I had to work on till I was 66,why should I? I have 45 years plus if stamps and tax paid? I have so much illness I can't work without taking painkillers to keep me upright.
I want nothing but what is rightfully mine... My pension nothing more nothing less please.
This diabolical government would rather work us into a grave and give youngsters benefits, why not give youngsters our jobs and us pensions? Use your brains boys and girls it makes sense.

I worked from the age of 16 and fully expected to retire at the age of 60 with my pension. With one years notice only and not from the government might I add...I discovered that they had raised the age and I have had over £54.000 in pension taken from me with no regard for the poverty, ill-health and death in some cases that this policy has created. The effect on mine and my family's lives has been drastic and everything I had planned for in retirement has been decimated.
They have shown neither remorse or respect for a generation of women already discriminated against the majority of their lives.

But here are a few of the injustices and lies we have all been fed.
'There is no money for pensions therefore a rise was required'.:- This government has not paid into the national insurance fund for many years. Only ourselves and our employers. Rather they have taken over 400 billion from the fund that should have easily paid us all MEN AND WOMEN a decent pension at an appropriate age that would allow us to end our days with the dignity that hard-working people deserve.

In our case, they have used the excuse that Primary and Secondary legislation does not have a lawful requirement to be fair. Neither does ANYONE have a right to be informed of legislation that may devastate lives. That applies to us all, be very afraid.

Despite an overwhelming surge of continuing support and questions from many angry MPs on our behalf for over five years.

Despite Boris Johnson's promise in his election to look at our case again "With new eyes and renewed vigor;

Despite 90.000 1950's women dying early between the age of 60 and 66.

Despite benefits claims from these women rocketing nationally by over 1300% and raising yet more questions in Parliament this week alone.

Despite 60 years plus vulnerable women being forced to work in frontline jobs when WHO states they are in the endangered category in the Covis crisis.

They continue to lie blatantly, Disprespect and ignore our plight. But this is not just our plight it is the nature of how they intend to govern us all moving forward.
I despise this government entirely and if I could give it Zero stars I would.
