shocking service shocking delivery time…

shocking service shocking delivery time on original outdoor lights.
Now the glass globe has broken and a replacement ordered in May 18 is now supposed to in the warehouse in October 18 !!!!! but who knows.

dont buy anything you want in a reasonable lead time they just do not deliver avoid them

Sorry to hear you are not completely satisfied with the service you have received. We are doing our best to obtain a replacement part for a product you ordered in 2016 and which was unfortunately broken by a swinging door.
Understandably it is difficult for us to do this on a short lead time due to the time that has elapsed since your original purchase.
We have refunded you 100% of the order value and offered to replace this item also to compensate for the period it will take to get a replacement part, even though this is completely outwith our control.

Delivery took 6 weeks longer, poor communication and delivery service

Delivery took 6 weeks longer than promised (10 weeks instead of 4), although this can be attributed to the manufacturer, communication about the delay was very poor only informing me about delay around promised delivery date, promised a new mid-July delivery date and still only delivered early August!

Communication was generally poor with promises of getting a response within 24 or 48 hours and then failing to respond at all or responding much later.

So called "white glove" delivery service just brought my quite expensive coffee table upstairs without unpacking it and taking waste material, something I would expect included in white glove service and is a standard for design furniture delivery from competitors I have used before.

Won't be buying here again, plenty of other companies online with the exact same offering and better service!

As discussed you should have been offered delivery to a room of choice and unpacking/removal of materials as part of our white glove service, sorry this was not the case. We have put in place additional processes to ensure all orders receive this service from our delivery partners.

As you note delay was down to a manufacturer issue but we should have communicated this better to you overall. We did provide general updates but did not follow up with specific information as promised and this has resulted in you experiencing poor service on this occasion.

We do have a wide product range with several many items to exclusive to us, so I hope you may give us another chance if you find the right product in the future.

Impressive Customer Service!

I was extremely impressed with the speed and professionalism of the response from my inquiry. Lisa Higham is incredibly courteous and helpful. Although I did not purchase anything from Houseology, I wouldn’t have any doubt to do so in the future. Houseology is going on my “Favorites” list on my iPad! I had an excellent experience dealing with the company. Thank you.

Very happy with customer service from Lisa Higham at Houseology

Very happy with customer service from Houseology . There were a number of problems with one of the items from my order . It initially arrived damaged, its replacement was delayed, and then it was delivered to the incorrect address. I was fortunate to have Lisa Higham dealing with these issues. She was very prompt in responding and did all she could to help. As a result, despite all these issues, I would order again from Houseology.

Payment taken 2 months ago no goods just excuses

Payment of nearly £300 was taken in May for a purchase that has not turned up. Various excuses of delays, each different to each other. Now no-one answering the phone. I can see the rest of the day been spent getting my payment back off the credit card.

Edited after Houseology reply below. Houseology were told (by email as no-one was contactable at the phone given on the website) on the day I posted this that the order was cancelled and we required an immediate refund. I have sourced the goods elsewhere.

Today they email to say the goods are being dispatched to us ignoring the email. The goods will not be accepted if they turn up. We are awaiting the refund after they have sat on our money for over 2 months!

Final update on July 10th.

After further discussion with Houseology who were helpful at this point, we have received our refund and the matter has been resolved to our satisfaction. We are prepared to accept that there may have been delays and miscommunications outside of Houseology’s control. We have ordered goods from Houseology previously and everything ran smoothly on that occasion, so will put this one down to a ‘glitch’ and have upgraded our review.

Great purchase and great customer service

Recently purchased a fire pit from Houseology, which initially had quite a long lead time but ended up arriving earlier than anticipated (without letting me know which wasn’t ideal). On opening, I found the item was damaged slightly, so I got straight on to customer services and was greeted by Lisa, who was super helpful. She arranged for a replacement to be sent a day or so later and was super flexible about getting the damaged one picked up. Brilliant customer service which turned my initial negative feelings about this company into positive ones.

I placed and order on the 15th of May

I placed and order on the 15th of May, I am still waiting for the order and now they have sent me completely the wrong thing wallpaper and not a shoe rack? How can you say an item is in stock with delivery to your warehouse being 2 weeks and it take over one month to deliver?

I still don't have an answer on when I will receive my item. Probably never at this rate. The worst online site I have ever come across do not ever order from this company.

Good place to buy designer furniture!

I bought 2 PH5 lights and Vitra hang it all clothes book from Houseology, the products are great, and the customer service is very good too! Very reliable they always get back in time for any enquiries.

One of the PH5 light is faulty, the customer service staff was really helpful to arrange a replacement. The price is most competitive vs other furniture shop too! Will definitely shop with them again.
