It was a good experience
I booked hostels on hostels.com and had no problems. All of the hostels where I stayed had me deposit. I was aware of what was due when I arrived in American money as well as foreign currency. I plan on using hostels.com again.

Western Europe Student Trip
Booking was very easy through hostels.com. Descriptions were accurate, hostels were clean, the locations were perfect and the food was good where provided. I wouldn't hesitate to use hostels.com again when booking our high school/college trips abroad.

Lost my car keys dropped out of my pocket with my hairband in my room. After a frantic call Johnathon took care of it~! thanks a whole lot. Wow! what a great place to stay...his flexibility with a baby crying all night next
door~was indeed...much appreciated. We caught up our sleep.

Better in Europe
Hostels.com had several good choices for many of the towns we visited in Europe even though we visited out of the way spots. Choices included hostels and inexpensive hotels. The choices are very limited in the US - nonexistent away from obvious tourist attractions.

Making a reservation at hostels.com was really easy and it went without a problem. Reservation was in place when we arrived at the hostel and we payed exactly what was expected.

I feel like at home.
All very good,a good breakfast and life style,good areas for rest,wi fi,etc.The most important is the excellent location in the heart of Chelsea,a very nice and quiet area of NY city in Mannhattan.
