Established in 1992, Hopes Grove Nurseries are hedging plants specialists with a 125 acre nursery and over 1 million home grown plants situated in the Weald of Kent. Our skilled nursery staff have over 200 years of growing experience between them so our plants are given the best possible start.
We only sell our hedging plants to the end user (not to Garden Centres or other nurseries) so you can be assured of direct from the nursery pricing that you will find very hard to beat. We deliver nationwide with plants coming directly from their growing beds to guarantee they are fresh and top quality.

In a nutshell, it’s a way of proving that we will always do the right thing in preventing the spread of harmful plant pests and diseases. The Plant Healthy Management Standard is a voluntary initiative that sets out requirements for implementing effective plant biosecurity systems that can be adopted by horticultural businesses. Hopes Grove Nurseries chose to be part of the scheme earlier this year, after a lot of preparation we received our independent audit in October 2025 and passed with flying colours!

It was so lovely talking to a "human…
It was so lovely talking to a "human being" rather than automatic vocal instructions. The lady with whom I spoke also had very good advice to give. Delivery of the plants was exactly the time I was told it would take and the plants arrived looking very healthy and well protected in the box. All in all a very pleasant experience.

Hedging
Hopes groves nurseries were very efficient when I had a holiday coming up and asked if delivery could be after I returned from holiday and they were very accommodating and delivered 4 days upon my return exactly when they said almost to the minute . I would recommend them and the plants were delivered in excellent condition due to the excellent packaging and are doing very well.

Hornbeam plants
I ordered a number of hornbeam plants, which arrived very quickly and well packaged so none of the plants had been damaged in transit.
