Worst store experience in the UAE

I furnished my entire home with items from different stores and this was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had.

They delivered a broken bed with delivery staff who were unprofessional. The first delivery guys smelled so bad that my whole house reeked for days, I had to use a lot of air freshener, and they even damaged my floor during delivery. When I tried to arrange a replacement, I dealt with another delivery guy on the phone who seemed drunk and had serious communication problems. It’s now been over three weeks and I still haven’t received a replacement. When redelivery was scheduled, the driver told me he would come at 9 AM. I waited all day but he never showed up. When I called him in the evening, he promised to come the next day, and again, he never came.

To make things worse, Homebox has completely stopped responding to me. I’ve dealt with 5 to 10 other furniture stores in the UAE and none of them were even close to this bad. Right now, I am still sleeping on the floor on a mattres.

For anyone considering them, avoid Homebox. Competitors like Pan Home or Home Centre are far more reliable. I am not affiliated with them, just sharing the truth: Homebox is by far the worst store I’ve ever dealt with.

If someone of homebox reads this, this is my order number: 2900210220512025082X, the last one is missing but you will recognize the situation. I filed a chargeback.

Broken furniture on arrival

Furniture arrived broken. Rude delivery team and useless customer service on the phone. Left unassembled broken furniture all over my living room. Will never order from them again

we order the bed since half month a go…

we order the bed since half month a go and we have agreement that they will deliver the bed on august 31 but they said they dont deliver sunday.ok then we wait monday as they said but until now tuesday theres no update from theyre side if they can deliver the bed.we already shift the house but because of this homebox service we are very upset and dissapointed

We ordered a tv unit

We ordered a tv unit , study chair and coffee table. The guys from home box came and fixed the tv unit and the coffee table. The fixing was a very shabby job. The coffee tabletop came out the same day badly fixed not at all neatly and professionally done. The tv unit delivered size was small. After booking the complaint for both the items they said it will take 3 days for their team to come and inspect. The representative came after 3 days and inspected only the coffee table, he said did not have any details for the tv unit. My concern is, why does it take so much time. In the long process we have to wait for a week wherein there is no fault of mine. Delivery was wrong , fixing was wrong and I have to wait.. I cant take the delivery of my tv because the unit is not correct.

I had 2 orders with them

I had 2 orders with them, they promised to deliver and upon delivery date i was called and told they need to cancel my order because I updated my address. Very unprofessional and would not recommend someone to buy from them

Extremely poor customer service

Extremely poor customer service. My delivery was scheduled yesterday but inspite of calling the customer care 5 times and the delivery guy 10 times,my stuff was NOT delivered.
Today i called customer service 4 times to ask about my delivery but instead everytime I am getting the same reply that the request has been raised and they will let me know the new delivery date !!!!!!!!!

Not to purchase from Home box…

My experience with Homebox was very disappointing. The staff at Dubai Silicon Oasis are unprofessional and not transparent, especially FA. I bought a sofa online in assistance with the same sales person while i bought the whole bedroom set from the Silicon Oasis Mall branch, and no one informed me about the return or exchange policy. The delivery, which was supposed to take one week, took two weeks instead. When the sofa finally arrived, it was too small, and when I asked for an exchange in the same date even unwraped the Sofa they rejected after so many trial to exchange, there was no proper support or clarity from their side to reject the item. I will never buy from them. Just pay attention

Have purchased dinning table worth 2000dhm with six chairs
Chairs are not at all good
Previously we use to sit down and have meals and now few months back started eating meals on dinning table and one by one chairs started getting lose n thn breaking
Taken mattresses worth 2400dhm same issue
N whn complaining no1 is thr to help

حسبي الله عليهم. ايون ويركبون ويخلون المنتج وما يكلمون. ويهربون ولا يرجعون يصلحون. حسبي الله عليهم ونعم الوكيل كل فلس حرام في ذمتهم

The worst shop with the worst service. No customer service at all — you call and no one answers. Their products are terrible, and all they care about is taking people’s money. God will deal with them. I don’t recommend buying from them.

Homebox worst return policy ❌️❌️❌️

Homebox has the worst return and refund policy. 🚫🚫🚫They're the one made mistake with the damage item. But they dont have replacement item. You need just to return it but if you payed cash, your money stucked in shukran pay. If you decided not to buy again you as costumer is doomed. ❌️❌️❌️Because if you wanna spend that money, again you need to pay extra for shipping and you dont have debit/credit, you have to pay COD again. Which you'll pay doubled in total.

Unreliable

Placed an order for a sofa on 02/08 and the delivery date was scheduled for 11/08. On the delivery date, received a call from them saying they canceling the order because there's no stock of the sofa - however they advertised it on their website and took payment.

We are super annoyed

We are super annoyed. We paid for urgent delivery. And they did not come. We said it is urgent and then they came late at night and were not allowed to drop off the furniture in the residence because it was late. Annoying!!!

I have purchased a recliner which…

I have purchased a recliner which started making noise within 2 months and broke after 6 months of use. 2 years of warranty against manufacturing defect which is a lie. They just come to check the product and blame it on customers for mishandling and misusing. I didn’t know reclining on it means mis using the product . Pathetic customer service

ROTTEN FURNITURE WITH WORST QUALITY

They are selling rotting furniture with the dumbest people they have hired. Pathetic service. My kid bed broke into 4 pcs within 8 months and they are not replacing it and threatening us to go to consumer forum.

Pathetic after service

Pathetic after service, we purchased the bed last December, and now it's broken. Screws are out, the wood frame made of low quality cardboard. calling for many days to customer service but no response. Never recommend anyone to purchase from this store.

Very bad experience with Home Box always. I have stopped purchasing items from them because they do not honor the warranty they promise and provide very poor customer service. Please do not trust the warranties they claim to offer — it’s really a waste

Very Pathetic service

Very Pathetic service, even after getting assurance by the manager for an update regarding the delivery there was no update and I was the one following up the whole day for the delivery making numerous calls for an update. I had booked a sofa a week ago for which I was given a delivery date of upcoming Friday which didn't happen since the delivery team was busy at another point hence rescheduled to Sat for which I have been following up the whole day. None of the customer service team along with the manager cared to keep the followup or provide a resolution to the escalation raised and the item still remains undelivered. They don't care for the customers concerns.
