Everytime I've ordered on-line, the delivery is accurate and very quick. Lots of products are available on offer too.

Shady practices. They ask you to review products but then do not publish the reviews if the rating is particularly low! Hence most (or all) of the products on their website have artificially high ratings.

Terrible experience with very unhelpful customer service agent. Royal Mail messed up the delivery, as the company I purchased from you request Royal Mail to return the package. But you didn’t. £35 down the drain, not recommended!!!

I’ve been a loyal Holland & Barrett customer partly because I believed the company’s environmental values matched mine. Two recent orders changed that.
Both arrived the same day, in identically sized boxes. One held a single 30ml serum, packed with a large volume of paper filler, and required me to be home to sign for a courier delivery. The other, same size box, held around ten products packed efficiently with minimal filler.
I’d been told the serum was delayed by one day. Rather than holding the full order and shipping it together, which the second box shows was entirely possible, it was sent separately: an extra box, a significant amount of packaging waste, and a second signed delivery, all to save one day. And I actually received both boxes on the same day.
Customer service replied quickly and by name both times, which I appreciated. But when I raised that I chose this company for its environmental positioning, that point went unaddressed the first time, and the second reply was upfront that individual feedback doesn’t lead to guaranteed policy change. Compensation offered was 300 loyalty points, not a refund or credit for the actual waste created.
If sustainability is core to this brand, packaging and shipping practices need to reflect that, especially for single small item orders that could easily use letterbox sized packaging instead of a full box and courier delivery
Always get good deals, eg. buy one get one half price. easy to look up products of interest. Easy trackable delivery by Royal Mail and so far always within a couple of days of ordering. Good quality products!

First time using H&B …. Also the very last time.
I cannot say fairly what the store experiences are like, but if you are ordering online from H&B, don’t bother.
I joined the H&B loyalty scheme as I saw they had a sale on & thought I’d try them … wish I hadn’t bothered. Their “normal” prices on the website are excessive compared to other places that do vitamins & sports supplements etc, but the online scam that they run with discounts makes them look attractive.
I ordered 360 * multi vitamins tablets, 240 * vitamin D tablets & 2 packets of creatine monohydrate … 3 very common products.
As they were all on “3 for 2” or “buy 1 get 1 free” or “spend £x for a discount” deals, what I ordered came to a reasonable price.
I ordered them online on a Thursday & opted to pick them up from my local store inside a big Tesco.
The website & the confirmation email said that they’d be ready to collect from the next day (the Friday). On Friday I knew I couldn’t get to the store in time before they closed, so I decided to pick them up on the Saturday afternoon.
On Saturday I arrived & after a while was told that they’d order may still be in transit as they didn’t have it yet. I left & checked on the app & it said they’d arrived. Then I received an email to say my order was ready for collection … I called customer services to ask what was going on as the store said they didn’t have them & after a while they came back to say that they had spoken to the store who didn’t have them & that they might have been sent to the wrong store, but they couldn’t see where they were.
They offered to replace most of the items, but advised they’d take 3-5 working days to arrive & that they didn’t have any more multi vitamins in stock, but could send 120 instead as a replacement …
So Holland & Barrett have COMPLETELY run out of multivitamins & aren’t getting any more in stock for the foreseeable future? These are basic products that their business is built on. No. What they want is to get your business & your order so you don’t go to a competitor, but they don’t want to honour their advertised pricing, or hope you’ll accept less.
Basically, they talk the talk, but can’t manage to get the goods that they do have delivered to the right place in the time they said they could & they also don’t have the basic stock available to match what they’re selling.
I tell you what H&B … I’m not sure if you can tell, but as a first time impression of your company, you’ve not done well. It’s the equivalent of turning up for a tinder date & finding that you look absolutely NOTHING like your photographs!!
You can go ahead & cancel my order. I’ll walk 10 yards round the corner & pick everything up from the big Tesco store you’re based in & have all the items now, for a slightly lower price.
… I won’t be ordering anything else from you & I’ll be invoking my gdprs right to be completely forgotten, so you don’t send me any marketing rubbish in the future 👍👍
Update …. 27/7/26 ….
I didn’t feel I needed to add anything further to this, but as you can see, H&B have responded to this review … even better, you can see that their response has absolutely nothing to do with the review or the issue!!
They’ve managed to respond & demonstrate to everyone that they can’t even read & respond to a review accurately … priceless 😂

I am a regular customer at the Watford Store and have never had any cause for complaint in the past. To the contrary, staff have always been pleasant and welcoming in my experience.
On this occasion, I arrived with a view to purchasing some organic cranberry juice. I noticed the price had been reduced on this particular product and I spoke to two female members of staff as I was concerned the item may have been discontinued with H&B.
The two staff members reassured me that the product was still likely to be available online and proceeded to explain the click and collect options should I wish to place an order in the future.
I then proceeded to select two further items besides the till before I was served by another female member of staff at that till.
Unfortunately, I was not in possession if a carrier bag at the time and requested a bag which could withstand the weight of my purchase. I was told there were no bags available other than the fabric tote bags that were placed behind her.
I again asked if there were any alternative bags available and subsequently told that I could be provided with two paper bags instead. I agreed to this yet surprised as to why there appeared to be an urge to secure the sale of a more expensive tote bag after initially suggesting there weren't any other bags available!
Nevertheless, I was asked how my H&B account was normally identified and I proceeded to enter my email address on the screen. I asked if there were any points accrued that could be used following my last purchase and was emphatically told there weren't any!
I was surprised at this, given that my last purchase should have accrued something towards my most recent purchase. The staff member was unresponsive and unhelpful to my query. Nevertheless after making payment, I left the store unhappy as I normally find staff members within the store to being far more receptive to customer service than this particular staff member.
I then spoke with a very helpful member of staff called Wendy from the customer services team whom kindly logged the matter as a complaint. However, I also agreed to email the customer services team with details of my complaint for Wendy to attach to the information she had logged.
I emailed the customer services team but did not receive any response despite the 48 hours response time.
I attempted to chase this up with the customer services team only to be told that no email had been received from me. I was sent an email from H&B and replied with details of my complaint - again which hadn't been received.
I sent my email a total of 4 times none of which had been received!
I then spoke with an advisor via the online chat and pasted my complaint in a number of small paragraphs given the restricted word count.
I requested an emailed copy of the chat and was assured it would be sent to me upon closing the chat. As a result, I did not receive a transcript.
I then chased this up with customer services and was told the advisor was on their break and the transcript would be sent after they had come out of the complaint.
Further attempts to obtain this were unsuccessful despite being assured I would receive the transcript. Eventually customer services informed me that they were unable to provide the chat and had escalated the issue with customer services.

Offers are really good as is the rewards scheme, but full price their products are expensive. I really like the snack selection, there’s a lot of variety.

Very disappointed. The quinoa contained a large amount of SAND, GRIT, DIRT and dark particles that appeared to be STONES. I spent around 30 minutes rinsing it and still could not make it feel suitable to eat. I had to order food instead because my dinner was unusable.
I have requested a refund of £9.24 and sent images by email. If required, please arrange collection from my home.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be of satisfactory quality, safe and fit for purpose. This product does not meet those requirements due to the amount of grit, sand sediment and particles present.
I have purchased over 10 packs of quinoa from Waitrose previously and never experienced this issue. I will be returning to them as this experience has been extremely disappointing.
ITEMS HAVE BEEN BINNED
PHOTOS OF THEM IN BIN SENT TO YOU
PLEASE REFUND

Just went to order some honey in to my local store which said it was free. Decided to use the £2 worth of points that I had towards the cost. The screen then changed to £1.99 to collect. Didn't bother. Feels like a rip off to me.

I usually used H&B stores located at Canary Wharf, both branches in the shopping centre.
The staff are usually on hand to assist and give good advice.

Arrived during heatwave - box full of melted chocolate had to return my order in full.. since returning the order no response from HOlland & Barrett nor has the return refund been processed still. It feels impossible to get Holland & Barrett to hurry up with the refund for my return. Just want my money back..

Placed an order with H&B on a Friday for next day delivery, order should have been delivered by Evri and guess what order was “delayed” no update by the Tuesday, contacted customer services and was told they weren’t able to refund order until the following day, was promised this would be done then, had to order from an alternative supplier in the meantime as was going away, order was never refunded as promised, no update on delivery, order turned up out of the blue on the following Monday, for an order over £100, am now left with the nightmare of having to return, will not order from H&B again, customer service is shocking
