As always excellent service, just sent my first claim form in, it was settled within a week...amazing.
the lady i have spoken to was helpful and i think the idea of having this insurance gives me peace of mind. i did not put 5 star because i have not availed the benefits yet. I am not aiming to be ill or hospitalised but i hope i wont regret in the end but of availing this insurance.
thank you...
All aspects of transfer from previous scheme and that offered byHMCA were clearly explained and all queries were satisfactorily dealt with.
I can only judge on my experience when obtaining quotations, I haven't had cause for contact over a claim or anything else.
Our previous health insurance was increased very higher,so after several years we decided to change. Within a week we saw the HMCA advert in one of our regular magazines and contacted them by phone. It was a pleasure to hear their details and at no time were we pushed to take their offers. The lady we spoke to was very clear and pleasant, and agreed to send full details we could read at home. After doing so we informed the lady we originally spoke to and accepted the contract. Since then everything has gone well with details sent to us. Thankfully we have not yet had to use them.
I joined HMCA in Dec. last year. They made the joining process very easy
and I am very pleased to be with them.
I had good response on phone , but follow up msg and forms to complete we're not sent. I had to chase up.
Very well organised. Particularly helpful staff on the phone, they understood exactly what was required. Level of cover good.cost of insurance sensible.
From my initial enquiry through to joining I found the process a pleasure. All m y queries were answered fully and with detail. There was plenty of time, nothing was rushed, and I found it a breath of fresh air. I would recommend anyone who is thinking of taking private health insurance to speak to HMCA.
I found HMCA very fair and reasonable to deal with. The people on the other end of the telephone are always polite and helpful. Strangely though, and some may appreciate this-others not, everything seems to be done by post or phone rather than email attachment which is cheaper and quicker. You can email them but if they pay a claim, for example, they always send you a letter through the post. Also there appears to be no members section on the website where you may login and check your cover and benefits.
The process of joining was smooth flowing from beginning to end.
I found the team at HMCA to be very polite, knowledgeable, efficient and friendly.
Certainly their attitude was influential in my decision to join HMCA.
The administrator I spoke to when considering moving from BUPA, was clear, helpful and the phone was answered immediately, quite rare these days.
I look forward to dealing with your helpful staff.
Your consultant was very polite and helpful in explaining the details and requirements of the insurance .
Good efficient service given the restrictions of Covid, haven’t tried claiming yet.
