Excellent service for a very competitive product
HMCA were very helpful, knowledgeable and patient with the questions I asked. After consideration of their offer compared with other much larger providers I preferred their more personal touch. Carrying out due diligence on them also highlighted that their finances and governance seem to be in good order.
The whole process was easy including the transfer from from my previous Insurer

I had been with another provider for many years, with a 50% no claims discount. I had a need to make a claim and realised that if I did claim the loss on NCD would make the policy unaffordable for me. I contacted HMCA to see what they had to offer, and found that having answered all my questions, they could offer me as good a policy but at a far better price, while covering me for my existing medical condition. Very relieved.
Excellent service and response from the staff at HMCA. What a refreshing change to have the phone answered (very quickly!) by a real person without having to go through endless menu options. Upon answering, all HMCA staff I spoke to were friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. All my queries were answered completely and I had no hesitation in entrusting my health insurance to the organisation.
When I phoned with some queries, within a short while they phoned me back and addressed all my concerns.
I was very happy to have chosen HMCA compared to other providers, if it wasn’t for an association I belong to I would never have known about them. I just hope I never have to use the policy because I intend to look after myself. This is just insurance just in case so need to keep strong and fit but good to have them in the background as insurance
