I found Heartland Bank the most accommodating to deal with in all areas from initial contact and response to finalization of the loan.
Its only unfortunate that I cannot shift all of my bank accounts across to them for day to day running of my business and personal affairs.

Unfortunately the process and feedback received during the Covid-19 crisis was lacking. Ultimately my payment holiday was approved, however it took numerous contacts initiated by me and the promise or confirmation letters, etc was never received.

Good , got my loan approval in 24 hours. Always email back me same day for queries.

I have been very impressed by Heartland Bank because they have been extremely helpful and willing to provide financial assistance for our business with a proactive approach when other major banks have not

Everything was really quickly processed and nothing was a problem

All the staff that I havnt been in contact with have been extremely helpful with any queries/applications I have made. They respond quick and always follow up phone calls when they say they will. I am very impressed with heartland customer service and would highly recommend them to anyone. Recieving a phone call after covid struck to see if they could help out in any way was also very nice to receive.

Interest rate was increased after the first year when other interest rates were dropping at major banks, felt this was not called for.

I approached Heartland in response to their TV Advert which I found a little unbelievable, “approval in 30 minutes “ type of ad.
That didn’t work in my case and it took a few days which I found remarkable.
When the banker / appraiser rang me it was obvious he had a good grasp of small business and cash flow issues we face.
He split my loan in half with one half being a revolving credit which is fantastic and it has solved my seasonal cash flow issues totally.
I am on the West Coast if the South Island and we have our own Development Trust, I did st one point have a business loan there however their draconian terms and conditions nearly crippled my business, Heartland is a totally different ball game and I have no hesitation recommending them.

Heartland are easy to deal with and I think their rates are very competitive

Super Impressed when Covid 19 shutdown was announced I got a call from Heartland to offer what they could do to help. I wish they had day to day banking facilities I would love for them to be our regular bank. They are so approachable and willing to help.
