Really?

Really?! Today it took nearly 20 attempts to place an order on ebay, because this rubbish does not work!
Tiny, blurred pictures which no one can recognize. And even if it was clear eventually, the programme did not accept my choice. Annoying rubbish!!!

Not a true reCAPTCHA replacement

At first glance, you would think this is a valid replacement for Google's reCAPTCHA with how they positioned themselves, with Cloudflare and many other services moving over.

The basic system is just alright, but will always ask users to complete challenges (which admittedly have gotten better over time, but are still lacking). The only thing it has going for it is a better, more transparent user privacy policy.

No-CAPTCHA and passive modes aren't a thing and are only available with BotStop for at least $999/month. Also, the widget is filled to the brim with links to hCaptcha. Any misclick will make users end up on their website. No white-labeling available.

Basically, hCaptcha is an advertisement for BotStop, posing as a complete reCAPTCHA alternative while offering only a third of the feature set at the same price/for free.

Worse than a Virus

Do you want to annoy your customers? Every link on your website will require them to go through a captcha prompt.
E.g. Next page, captcha. Add to cart, captcha. Login, captcha. Logout, captcha. Customer support, captcha.

Wouldn't recommend. Lost a lot of customers just because of this.

It's worse than a virus.

bruh

success rate is way lower than regular recaptcha, also you need to give them your email for accessibility options???

I hate this system so much

I hate this system so much, it ALWAYS asks you to check for trucks or planes. It's starting to be used in so many websites that it's unavoidable to have to pick a f'in truck or a plane.....like ugh it's ultra annoying and even made me stop using some sites for the inconvenience.

Absolut trash

It's fine when it works, but if it decides to randomly mark you as a robot then you are screwed. I've just spent 15 minutes trying to solve their trash captchas until I completely gave up. And their "accessibility" options? Computers are hard enough to use for people with disabilities, hCaptcha response to that is: Let's see if we can make it deliberately impossible.

The worst Captcha system ever created!

The worst Captcha system ever created!

hCaptcha has blurry, grainy, pixelated, messy pictures that will confuse you to oblivion. Working through an hCaptcha test is frustrating and time consuming. I don't know why a lot of companies are taking hCaptcha instead of the others. Sometimes, I just leave the website when I'm required to do it. I just don't want the burden of having to endure the eye-strain and mental fatigue of completing it. This atrocity should be discontinued.
