Excellent customer service I was looked after by an agent named Celso on Saturday. With what seemed a bumpy start he turned it into a smooth ride. We visited the branch earlier this week an... See more

⭐ 1 Star
⭐ 1 Star – Avoid This Company
I strongly advise landlords to avoid this company for both property management and lettings services.
When you sign up, you are encouraged to pay for various management services, legal protection, and rent guarantee products. However, when you actually need their support, especially in cases involving tenant arrears, legal action, or possession proceedings, they appear to do everything possible to avoid taking action.
In my experience, they repeatedly requested additional documents and information that had never been requested before, creating unnecessary delays and obstacles rather than helping to resolve the issue. It felt as though they were looking for excuses not to proceed with the legal protection services that I had already paid for.
Customer service has been extremely disappointing. Calls are often unanswered, communication is poor, and staff appear inexperienced and insufficiently trained to deal with serious property management issues. As a landlord, you need a management company that protects your interests and acts promptly when problems arise. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience.
My experience has been incredibly frustrating and stressful. I felt unsupported throughout the process and left to deal with problems that I was paying the company to manage on my behalf.
Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend this company and would strongly suggest that landlords look elsewhere for property management, lettings, and legal protection services.
Anne-Marie has been incredibly helpful…
Anne-Marie has been incredibly helpful throughout my experience as a tenant. She is always approachable, professional, and willing to listen to any questions or concerns I may have. I genuinely feel that I am listened to and taken seriously whenever I speak with her, which has made a real difference.
She communicates clearly, follows up on matters promptly, and consistently goes above and beyond to provide support when needed. It is reassuring to know that there is someone reliable and understanding to turn to.
I would highly recommend Anne-Marie to anyone looking for a lettings agent who is caring, responsive, and committed to providing an excellent service. Thank you for all of your help and support.
Don't ever use them for anything
I rented a flat in Ashford through this agency, and it was handed over in an unacceptable condition. From the beginning of the tenancy, I reported numerous issues, including severe mould, leaks, rust, and other maintenance defects. Despite repeated emails and persistent follow-ups, my concerns were consistently ignored or dismissed.
One of the most serious issues was the property's water supply. The property was left without running water for almost three months. Rather than resolving the problem, the agency repeatedly claimed that it fell outside their remit, leaving me with no option but to pay for repairs to the water pump myself in order to restore the water supply.
The property also suffered from a significant mould problem. Given that my daughter has an existing medical condition, I repeatedly raised concerns about the potential health risks and requested assistance. Once again, little meaningful support was provided, and I was forced to address the issue at my own expense. Throughout the tenancy, the agency appeared far more proactive in reminding me when rent was due than in fulfilling its responsibilities regarding the condition of the property.
The lack of support became so severe that we ultimately felt compelled to leave the property due to genuine health and safety concerns. Every issue was documented and reported to the agency in writing before we vacated. Rather than addressing the condition of the property, the agency seemed primarily focused on enforcing contractual obligations and retaining us as tenants for as long as possible.
Following our departure, we were presented with a substantial bill for alleged damages and repairs. This was despite the fact that many of the issues cited had been reported from the outset of the tenancy and clearly pre-dated our occupation. We submitted extensive evidence through the Flatfair platform, including photographs from the official check-in inventory provided by the agency, along with photographs and correspondence sent throughout the tenancy documenting the issues.
What was particularly concerning was the response from Rosie Wallace, who stated: “There is no proof of the date in which these photos were taken of the property; please also compare the check-in and check-out reports for evidence.” This response suggests either a failure to properly review the evidence submitted or a fundamental misunderstanding of the documentation provided. The photographs in question were taken directly from the official check-in inventory and from emails previously sent to the agency reporting the issues. Had the evidence been reviewed thoroughly, this would have been immediately apparent.
Regarding Arandeep Dhinsa, I found him to be completely ineffective in providing any meaningful solutions to the issues raised. It appears that the responses and supporting evidence sent to him were either not properly reviewed or disregarded, as the attached documents were seemingly never opened or examined. Had these attachments been reviewed, the mistakes on your side would have been evident.
Furthermore, concerning the water issue mentioned in the first paragraph, this matter was raised directly with Arandeep Dhinsa. Despite being made aware of the problem, no adequate support or action was provided to resolve it. As a result, the issue remained unresolved for four months, causing unnecessary inconvenience and demonstrating a serious lack of responsiveness and accountability.
Having rented properties across London and the South East for many years, this has been, without question, the worst experience I have encountered with a letting agency. The level of incompetence, lack of accountability, poor communication, and disregard for legitimate tenant concerns was extraordinary. The unnecessary stress, time, and financial burden caused by the agency's conduct is something no tenant should have to endure.
Based on my experience, I would strongly advise anyone considering renting through this agency to proceed with extreme caution. Ensure that every issue is documented from the very beginning of the tenancy, as you may find yourself having to defend against claims relating to problems that existed long before you moved into the property. In my experience, both the lettings team and management were unhelpful, unsupportive, and unwilling to take responsibility when serious issues were raised.
Failed to remove from Advertising Sites
There months with Haart, zero viewings. Contract ended 26 May 2026 but on 9 June 2026 with 5 emails and telephone calls to both Plymouth and Liskeard branches Haart are still advertising it on Rightmove!!! Shambles.
Expect nothing outstanding
As estate agents go, this one doesn’t disappoint. The majority of buyers and renters will no doubt share this view.
My partner and I experienced all the problems that like minded people share - lack of understanding, empathy, communication, commitment, and more importantly trust.
Needless to say, without boring you all with the finite details, we eventually pulled out at a cost to our purses and our sanity.

Yesterday I was really impressed with the kind of reception that was accorded to me by your staff though I didn’t like the property but I left with a sense of dignity and respect she was very polite and friendly. She said her name is Amber hope you guys can get me the kind of property that I need.
Sue and I were very pleased with both…
Sue and I were very pleased with both the Haart agents (Vicky & Dan) who showed us around the property on Millbeck Drive. Made us feel at ease and were able to answer any questions asked of them. Couldn't ask more of them, very professional.
Daniel from Haart testate agents using mobile numbers without permission
Daniel from this estate agents in Southend-on-sea called my 85 year old mother on her mobile phone about acting as agent for selling her house. She was upset by the call. He said that Haarts had her number in their records but her number is not online and she never gave them her number or permission to use it. He. Or Hasrt have obtained it improperly so will be making a complaint to the information commissioner - he didn’t seem to have had any data protection training at all. No principles, I would not use these guys if this is how they are going to treat personal data to make money.
Frustrating Experience with Major Communication Failures
Our experience with Haart was extremely poor and dragged on for over 8 months while we were trying to have our names removed from a rental contract. Despite providing notice and replacement tenants promptly, we remained legally tied to a property we no longer lived in due to issues that were never properly managed.
We ultimately had to issue a formal complaint due to the ongoing delays and lack of progress.
Communication from Natalie Black was particularly frustrating – responses were slow, often inaccurate, and lacked any clear plan. While she repeatedly blamed the landlord, there was never any acknowledgement of the significant communication failures and delays on the agency’s side.
Even after escalation, progress remained slow and reactive rather than proactive. We had to chase constantly just to move things forward. Contracts were eventually issued at the last minute, and the entire process felt disorganised and poorly handled throughout.
Overall, a very stressful experience with little accountability or ownership. I would not recommend.
Unprofessional
Unprofessional, not open about prospective buyers, poor communication with their staff, would never recommend this company.
Absolutely terrible and highly…
Absolutely terrible and highly questionable business practices.
I received an unsolicited sales call from Haart on a Sunday, from what appeared to be a local telephone number. Only during the call did it become apparent that this was actually their head office calling to ask whether I wanted to sell my property.
I have never contacted Haart, never requested a valuation, never expressed any interest in selling, and have absolutely no relationship with this company. So naturally the question is: where did they get my details from? It feels as though they are harvesting homeowner data and cold-calling people at random in the hope of generating leads.
The fact that this happened on a Sunday makes it even worse. Most people expect to be left alone on weekends, not interrupted by unsolicited sales calls. Using a local number to increase the likelihood of someone answering only adds to the impression of a company willing to use questionable tactics to generate business.
This type of behaviour is intrusive, unprofessional, and exactly why estate agents often struggle with public trust. If a company is willing to contact complete strangers out of the blue, on a Sunday, using what appears to be a local number, it does not inspire confidence in how they handle personal data or conduct their business.
The irony is that I am not interested in selling my property through Haart—or through any estate agent at all. I have given no indication that I am looking to sell, which makes this cold call even more baffling and unwelcome.
Based on this experience, I would never consider using Haart under any circumstances. Unsolicited Sunday sales calls are a guaranteed way to ensure I never become a customer.
I would highly recommend haart…

Had Autumn recently value my property
Had Autumn recently value my property. I found her to be very polite and professional. She explained everything to me and brought me evidence of how she came to the valuation. I would definitely use Haart in Ely and Autumn’s services again.
Great experience
We had a professional, informative, truthful and trustworthy experience when we were selling our house. The staff worked as a team and were very accommodating especially during viewings. We were kept informed. We felt valued in every step of the journey. Thanks to Danny, Aaron and Tyan, particularly, because they worked directly with us. They are a great team, who do not only look at the money, but the whole process. Although the sale fell through at the last stage, we still stand with our comments. We will definitely use them again. We strongly recommend.

Ewan and Chloe were really very helpful and I really appreciate their support throughout. Thank you for everything. Highly recommended.
I’m trapped in a contract with them…
I’m trapped in a contract with them letting my property and I feel like I have a parasite I can’t get rid of. 6% rent collection fee is actually 7.5%. You get charged for extra stuff you don’t want and if you try to call them you hit a brick wall. High staff turnover, just receive emails telling you they are charging you for extra things you don’t want and can do yourself. I only wanted rent collection, not the extra money making schemes. Yearly reports and £25 for sending a document I have already served.
Biggest mistake using Haart as a…
Biggest mistake using Haart as a landlord. Communication is poor your property in Bedford will be managed by Northampton and Milton Keynes branch. The worst thing is you can call until your are blue and chances are someone new most of the time.
Self manage or use someone else
Good communication until they get your business.
