Just wanted to let you know that because of the quality of your clothing, my son was spared a very deep laceration. He somehow kicked a glass milk bottle while chasing our dog on New Year’s Eve, causing the bottle thrown crack and leading to a laceration on his leg. Because the sweat pants he wore were so thick it protected his leg from further injury. Thank you for making a product with integrity and quality. I am now getting this clothing for my new grandson. Keep on with your well made clothing. Thank you again
Bad return policies
All I can say is be sure of your sizes because you'll have to pay all the return shipping cost if things don't fit! And especially if you don't have a store near your house to do the exchanges in person personally I don't think that's worth it I just rather shop at Amazon bad customer service if you have to pay for a return
Don’t bother
Please do yourself a favor and do not order from this company , I placed an order December 7th …On December 14th the tracking number w my order says awaiting carrier pick up …I have called several times, once your on hold for 15 minutes the rep is from India and very hard to understand …the status on my order on December 23 is still awaiting carrier pick up but they will not refund me until the 27th in which time I have to call back wait on hold and ask again for the refund

So what I paid 13$ for is now 30ish dollars plus the cost of shipping
Oh and everytime I called I got someone with a horrible phone connection and thick indian accent and barely comprehending what im saying.
Quality
I have bought from Gymboree for my daughters and now grandchildren for over 35 years. This was by far my favorite kid clothing store. A few years ago when gymboree closed many of their stores I couldnt shop in store or order online. When online ordering became available i did order, but I would have liked to seen the product. The quality in the clothing has decreased as well as options. I can no longer order shorts with a zipper, all are elastic waisted. This year the red, white and blue boy shirt line are the same as last year and selling as a new line. Very disappointed and will no longer purchase from this store.
Order Not Received in Timely Manner
placed an order for my granddaughter, March 21, 2024, and information online said the order would arrive by March 27th. The order was for the “Baby Girls Gingham Embroidered Bunny Dress,” which was expected before Easter. I tracked the order, but there was never a delivery date until March 30th, and the tracking delivery date was April 4th. However, Gymboree emails were continually sent to me regarding ordering the bunny dress for Easter. A complete nightmare!
Lost order for store picked up
I placed an online order and was very happy with the sale prices, and have the order delivery to the closest store to fin out looking online that the store was permanently closed. Then I called their sister store Children Place and they asked me for my order number, and proceed to locate my order and I immediately get a response that my package was lost, and they will issue me a refund. I haven't received any refund or an email of the cancelation of my order due the package being lost, neither my money yet. Neither tobsay I bought her summer clothes and swimsuits for a family vacation and bow we are without the clothes neither the money to go buy new ones. Gymboree sucks!!! The customer service at Children Place were very helpful and contacted me twice to let me know that the box arrived but my order was not on it!

It was my worst experience with a costumer service! I placed an online order and never got the package. I contacted the carrier and they asked me to contact the store. In the costumer service, they told me that nothing can be done and to get a refund I need to open a dispute through my bank.

Absolutely worst customer service and worse online ordering experience I’ve ever had. Placed a $200 order. Typed my billing address in and some how the company shipped my order to an address I haven’t lived at in 8 years (must’ve been stored by them in their site). No big deal I thought I will call and inform them immediately. Well most companies could simply cancel the order and re ship, but nope not here. They said for me to contact UPS. I did… long story short couldn’t be helped and now my order has been delivered to someone I don’t know. I can’t seem to get a response from Gymboree… Never had such a poor experience. I do not recommend them. And I will tell everyone do not order anything from them.
Canceled my item without explanation or excuse
I ordered several items online, all were in stock of course. But after they had shipped, I found that one item was missing. I got no explanatory e-mail at all. So I asked the CS by e-mail, whether it would be shipped separately, but I never received any reply. So I tried Facebook, and finally got to know that my item had been canceled as out of stock at the time of shipping. What? It was in stock when ordered! I cannot believe that it can happen. Why? It is very frustrating, as the item is in stock again now, but they won't ship it to me unless I order it again as they do not backorder. Also, it was a part of an outfit, so I am really angry as I have leggings with no top to pair with now. Cancelling items after ordering is the reason I stopped shopping at Hanna Andresson. I never shop at Gymboree again. Do not recommend.

I will never order from this company again. They said I'd get my twins PJ sets(4 of them) by Dec. 13th(not a estimated delivery date) and now they said it'll be possibly by Dec. 22nd only a few days before Christmas when I no longer need them. OnTrac said they don't even have the package. The company refused to send out new sets(I said I'd pay for them as long as they cover the cost of RUSH shipping) They said no. Terrible. Buyer beware. I plan to share my terrible experience with this company on all of my social media platforms.

I came here to complain because the website is so unfriendly. For 3 days I have been trying to submit an order; I get all done and ready to "review" and I get "An error has occurred" with no explanation of what the error is or how to fix it. After multiple times checking my info, I give up. Glad now that order was not accepted. Seems I am the lucky one. Though I do love their offerings, I will not be visiting the website again.
I am really disappointed by their shipping
I am really disappointed by their customer service. I have been a customer for 10 years, but I am not going to return. I had ordered a package and paid $20 to have it arrive early. When I was in the check-out process on August 4th it said it would arrive on August 6th. Then later that afternoon they sent me a shipping email that AGAIN said it would arrive on August 6th. So I check on the status of the shipment the morning of August 6th and it says that the package missed getting onto the plane. So now the delivery date is August 9th...um.... that is a vast difference. So I called customer service and was given the typical well it takes 3 days for it to arrive. I tell the lady that is not what it said at check-out, and that it not what YOUR shipping email said to me. This is what I think happened... the package from them was not delivered in time to get onto the plane- what the new shipping email says. It says 8:14am package was not loaded onto plane. 8:15 am package arrived at facility. It is CRAZY to me that they will not return me my $20. The gal on the phone said that only if it does not arrive by Mon will they return the $20... that is so bad. I paid the $20 so it would get here on time for photos... I had to change out photo date and now it is over 2 wks away, so I wasted my $20. Sadly, I had $500 more worth of product in my cart, but I am no longer buying it. They lost my business, sadly. They really ought to provide honest and fair customer service, and do not tell your customer a promise without fulfilling it. And if you made a mistake, fix it. Give the $20 back. ugh.

Pretty sure this is related to usps but they lost a package that contained a sentimental item for my daughter. I starting complaining about 10 days in but they made me wait the full 14 days before they would do anything. By then the item by daughter wanted was sold out in her size. The balance of the items that they did a replacement order on now seem to be lost as well. I am no longer ordering from them and am steering clear of any business that uses USPS as their package carrier. So disappointed.

Wont accept gift cards
unfortunate that they wont honour GC's from before their transition. $300 in GC's, gone. Their excuse that childrens place bought them and they cant access the previous information is BS. horrible customer service, especially in an era where customer service is so important.

Not giving me the money for gift exchange
I received a babyshower gift from here. I received a month after the shower so I needed to exchange the outfits for larger sides. When I went to exchange the 2bibs, 2 sets of blankets, and 3 outfits they gave me $24 for all of it since it had been past the 60 days. So they would only give me around $2 for each when I know an outfit is $24. How ridiculous is this?!! I know all of this stuff was worth a lot more than $24!!!
