A very disappointing experience

A very disappointing experience! I purchased shoes for over €400 that showed significant damage after just under three weeks (peeling coating, with the material underneath visible). Instead of offering a reasonable solution or inspecting the product, I was simply told that there was no manufacturing defect and that I should have the shoes repaired at my own expense by a cobbler. To me, this is neither reasonable nor customer-oriented. At this price point, I expect significantly higher quality and, above all, a professional approach to legitimate complaints. I will never buy here again and cannot recommend the company based on this experience! It is clear that here one primarily pays for the brand name rather than for quality or customer service.

My new shirt arrived as described, in perfect time and was beautifully wrapped and delivered. I couldn't rate the care and service any higher. Impeccable. Thank you.

Concierge-like service with each order!

Concierge-like service with each order! I have been ordering from Rick Owens for the last decade and have always received everything as promised. I have even received personal messages with several orders thanking me for being a Rick customer. Superb quality and designs that last forever!

If you're an international customer don't buy from Rick Owens

Bought a shirt at the Milan store as a gift and went back to Switzerland. Shirt was too large. Wrote the story asking if we could return it. They said yes. Filled out FedEx overnight forms and shipped it back, with all paperwork affirming it was a return. Now it is stuck in Italian customs and Rick Owens refuses to lift a finger to submit required verification forms. The customer office tells me contact the store and vice versa and neither is taking care of the package. Finally had to have FedEx initiate a return, so now I'm out 355 Euro for the shit and 71 for the return. I've never dealt with less helpful people.

good quality but before was way better, i remember collection of shoes before 2019 and quality tbh was amazing, leather was thinner 2 times.
I still have clothes form 2010-2015 and i warn it a lot crazy pieces

Doors open at Rick Owens!

Even as a fashion industry veteran, sometimes going into a fashion store can be intimidating. I have been to the beautiful Rick Owens shop in Palais Royale on a number of occasions but last week, after visiting the awesome Musée Galliera exhibition on Rick Owens my teenage daughter and I were window shopping at the store in Palais Royale when the door opened and we were invited inside. Our host, Joe, gave us an unpretentious welcome and tour of the shop explaining the techniques and styles championed by Rick Owens. After seeing the clothes in the museum setting it was even more impressive to see and touch them close up. Joe was a great guide - charming, patient and didn’t seem to mind that we were mostly there to admire and unlikely to be making any purchases that day. My daughter had a memorable exciting experience, even leaving a written message for Rick himself, which will no doubt make her more confident and curious when out shopping! Quite possibly a future Rick Owens customer as well!!

Absolute joke, misleading return policies

Absolute joke! What is wrong with your policies! Ordered a down jacket to be shipped to the uk €30, fine… didn’t like the jacket and had to pay another €30 to ship back. Then I get a bill of €126.90 deducted on top of all that, as the jacket was made of feathers, so extra import apparently had to be paid. Well you could say what percentage the customer will pay for returns instead of writing “extra charges might occur”, this is totally misleading and absolute joke. Still like Rick products all tho this is a let down, also the quality of the jacket I received kinda sucked, felts like it was going to rip anytime. For that price tag create something that can last.

VERY EXPENSIVE RETURN CLOTHING

I have just received my refund for returning an item minus 97.36 Euros.

On the return email it did state: FOR ALL OTHER COUNTRIES:

40€ FOR THE WHOLE IMPORT PROCEDURE + DHL ESTIMATED COST: 27.36€.
I appreciate it states that the customer is responsible for paying for the return of the clothing so I understood that was 27.36 euros.
It never stated that the UK belonged to "other countries".
I would like the remaining 60 Euros to be debited back to my credit card.

Bad CX - Don‘t return

I shipped 4 pieces in one parcel via DHL to the Rick Owens Webshop but received a credit for only one piece. The customer service department made the excuse that I should contact the parcel service. Even after I named a wittness who is a regular customer of Rick Owens Webshop, the case was not resolved. Considering that the store has a friendly concierge service, the customer experience is very disppointing. I cannot recommend buying there. It seems that the returns process is flawed.

Rick owens substandard quality

My email to rick Owens which was totally ignored:
"Dear Sir/ Madam
I bought a RO black leather parka which I absolutely love . However, it is shedding it’s feathers and covers all my black clothes with small white feathers which are very hard to brush off. I even tried with an adhesive roller, but the feathers get stuck in the weave and have to be pulled out manually.
I showed this to the shop owner where I bought it ( the store is in copy) who contacted you but you have refused to acknowledge that this is a defect and to take back the item. Therefore the store has refused to refund me the money and only offered to either exchange it for another RO parka or give me a store voucher which is unacceptable given the amount involved (CHF 3800.- = €4000)
The situation is most unfair, is not flattering for the Rick Owens reputation and certainly violates consumer protection rules.

I am therefore turning to you directly now hoping that you will recognise that the item is defective, take it back and provide me with a refund.
Please find attached proof of the defect. The jacket is also shedding its feathers from the outside and not only from the inside lining.
I sincerely hope that my complaint will be taken seriously as it should be and that the jacket will be refunded.

Horrible

Horrible. Please make your decisions wisely because you AREN'T going to get a exchange or refund. They do not respond to emails at all, even if it's their mess up or yours.

This is meant to be a luxury store but…

This is meant to be a luxury store but the way you are treated is ridiculous never in my life have I experienced this. First, you need to request a return it doesn't just come with your item, then they do not reply to you to send your return.
Second, they take 30% of your order's value plus added shipping cost and they deduct it from your refund. which was over 70eur in my case.
The swimsuit I ordered did not fit my body correctly even though it was my size. it also had no lining which made the swimsuit very see-through and not durable and the overall quality was low. I am definitely not buying from them again.

Thieves

They claim to not adhere to the EU returns policy which means they steal £100's when completing a return. I have reached out to customer service who are nothing but a foil to ensure they continue which such malpractice. Disgusting company who already make millions but feel the need to pinch additional money from unsuspecting customers.

Need to return merchandise to the…

Need to return merchandise to the Verona, Italy store. Been trying to contact Customer Service for DAYS. No one ever returns your email. Their website claims to return merchandise, one must reach to the non-existent Customer Service. Don't order from this website. The hassle and frustration is too much.

Website is very unclear

Website is very unclear. Apparently I needed to click on "+" to get detailed info on what I was ordering.
You'd think high end retailers would have customer services to match but sadly not. Not only do you have to pay for the return, they deduct €20 from what you paid. So, I my case after the exchange rate changed I was out of pocket by over £80.00
