Design good, quality poor
The design is like in the photos, but the quality of the leather is quite poor. It is thin and therefore the shape of the whole piece easily goes ‘off’, and the straps and how the straps are fixed just looks cheap.
I had unwrapped the bag and the buckles before I realized the poor quality, so I unfortunaltely have to keep it.

Gusti Leder is just scamming you with…
Gusti Leder is just scamming you with the delivery and the product. They send you the bags in carbage box without any safety bag. I got the bag for my son for christmas gift like this and the bag’s surface was full of scratches because the box was totally destroyed.. Beacause the bag had a name tag it could not be returned back. What a shame! It was not said anywhere in the delivery that you cannot return the bag because of this. I sent the reclamation about the issue. After that said they would refund 10 %. I did not agree. Then they revised that you should use wax or oil to make schrathes desappier. With my owen expense. After that I still reclaimed the refund I had asked. Things got really strange after that. The item could have not been returned, should have been returned. The photos sent were not enough, they in sudden needed videos. Later on even not the close photos were not enough. Use your money wisely, do not order Gusti Leder!

The bag itself was excellent quality at a very reasonable price, and customer support when I had some issues over shipping to the UK (thanks to stupid Brexit!) was absolutely amazing!
If I need more bags in the future, Gusti will be me first stop.

My daughter was searching for an appropriate tobacco pouch for ages. I bought this for her. She was absolutely delighted with it. She loved the deep compartment for her tobacco, and loved the space for the tobacco papers. A hit all round.

BEWARE: They do not stand behind their product!
I bought two of their Asia carryon bags as gifts. Both were defective. One fell over if you took your hand off it. The wheels fell off the second after the 3rd weekend trip. Gusti Leder refused to honor their warranty when the wheels fell off. They also accepted my review on their website, but refused to publish it. The luggage was pretty, but not functional.
After seeing that Gusti Leder responded to my honest review above, I was astounded by their misleading reply. Thus, I felt the need to update my review here.
Gusti's stated here that if I email them, they will help me. I am flummoxed, as both my son and I emailed them more than a dozen times asking for help in resolving the defective issues with the luggage. They admitted both the defects and that the luggage in question was covered under warranty. We communicated by email for several months trying to get them to stand behind their product. The company systematically denied us compensation. They stated that it would be too expensive to do so. I twice purchased luggage from Gusti Leder. Both pieces were defective. Trying to get them to fulfil their warranty was neither easy, straight forward, or fair. I do not understand why. The only thing that I know for sure is that I am totally out the $200 for my son's bag.
Do not be fooled by their claims for customer satisfaction.

The backpack that I bought was stained…
The backpack that I bought was stained and scratched. The inside personalized label was also stained. It's a very cheap product and nothing to do with the pictures in the site. I would rather spend more and get a decent leather product rather than this substandard, cheap, untrusted leather production: it also leaved stains on the white cloth and warm water I used to clean it, and decent leather does NOT do that, who know what it had been treated with.

Product ok, delivery time not ok
I got the product today, it seems to be ok. I'm little disappointed to the delivery time. I don't know who to blame? Your slow order handling, DHL or Finnish POSTI. Anyway I executed my order 3.11.2025 and got the product 13.11.2025. So it took 8 working days.

Scam or no scam?
Ordered a leather shoulder bag. I was VERY skeptical of buying from this site as mulitple reviews on trustpilot from the other nations said Gusti Leder was nothing but a scam site with horrible customer service and bad leather - and I thouight so too. The only reason I decided to buy was because I thought the bag design was too good and the discount was big enough to justify taking "the risk" of it being either a scam or a hit. Now I just came back from a 2 week holiday in Italy and I can safely say that the product did live up to my expectations. The leather is real and seems to be of very good quality. Many have complained about the stitching on their products from Gusti being torned after a couple weeks/few months after use, but so far I cant see any tear yet or signs of bad stitching. I am very satisfied and will most likely order again in the future.
However !
I am not going to give a 5 rating star because if so many people are complaining about the customer service AND the quality of their ordered products, then that can mean two things; either A, I was simply lucky, or B which is the most likely, Gusti needs to step up on their customer service part. For this reason I take away one star in the hope that they take this valid criticism and focusing on improving that.
