Been using blackwood store for jewellery, watches and repairs for a few years. Been in recently to buy a new wedding ring for my husband as a Christmas present. The staff at blackwood were more than helpful with helping me choose one, had to have his size ordered and arrived within a few days.I received good customer service,along with a good quality item,And think supporting your local business too is good

Staff in ebbw vale store are very lovely and I can't stop buying jewellery from the store as I have very lovely banter with them in there I have spent roughly just over 2 grand in there and buy the time I pay off all my items I would of spent about 3 to maybe 4 grand in there the girls should earn commission as they are the reason why I keep going in there lol

The staff were very welcoming and polite when I took my daughter in to have her ear pierced, I think the lady's name was Katrina, she was so calm and very lovely making my daughter feel comfortable while sitting waiting, Thank you

I visited Gus Jones in Blackwood to look for a earring for my daughters helix piercing. The staff were very helpful and friendly, taking the time to explain about different size bars etc. I would definitely recommend a visit to the shop, they have a good range of jewellery to choose from.

Rude staff in the Blackwood branch, they were very upset that we went to the shop 20 minutes before they shut. They couldn’t get us out of there quick enough.

Not impressed at all with Gus Jones blackwood. Phoned up the start of the week to book my daughter in for her ears pierce told them her age over the phone.took her up there then for them to turn to me my partner and 6 year old daughter and say she couldn't have them done.to then have my daughter upset as part of her birthday present think it's fair to say we will not be spending money there again.

I'm sorta confused when ever i check out i see Canada as an option???

Had such wonderful service from Mel Jones at Gus Jones’ in Ebbw Vale. We took our 7 year old daughter there to have her ears pierced for the first time. Mel took so much care and time to make our daughter feel as relaxed as possible whilst at the same time making the occasion an exciting one for her by getting her involved in choosing earrings etc and making this a special occasion. The extra step of the service of giving them a certificate is wonderful. Can’t praise the staff and Gus Jones’ enough, great service!

Excellent service. Went in for a watch repair after Timpsons said my watch was broke and that there was nothing wrong with the batteries in my watch. The manageress patiently took my watch apart, tested the batteries and it turned out that one battery was not working so she replaced it for a third of the price I paid in the other place and my watch is fully working. Will definitely be returning in future. Thank you

Purchased an Accurist charm watch and I am very happy with it. The service was excellent - order arrived very quickly. Everything was well packaged. This Company was the only one I could find who sold these watches. I am delighted! Would highly recommend.

I had bought a different necklace from the Blackwood shop and liked it. The leaflet showed another one which Iiked, so I went to the website ordered it the checkout was easy and it was delivered to the shop very quickly. I was happy with the service and would use it again.

I will be honest here, I had been let down by another Jeweller. I was after a specific watch which was a limited edition and as with all these, they are just nowhere to be found. I had given up really until one last roll of the dice threw up the watch I wanted, allegedly in stock at a price. I thought I am not going to fill out all the order like the previous and be told it was gone. So, I took the liberty of phoning them directly to see if they really had the watch. By chance Andrew said it was there at the store I had phoned and yes I could have it. I gave my details, money exchanged and the deal was done. My problem was, I wanted this watch to take on holiday and asked if the watch could be delivered to my business address in Bolton Lancashire by the next day. "Not a problem" Andrew said. True to his word the watch arrived by recorded delivery, the next day. My receipt was emailed to me, along with my tracking reference. Very friendly to deal with. The other jeweller was selling the same watch a lot cheaper, but I didn't quibble on the price. Small family firms need all they can get,including the mark up. The service given here was exceptional. Found a very nice rollerball pen here. Had thought it would be sapphire coloured as that is what it was called, but when it arrived it was black. But I should have seen that if I'd looked more carefully. It arrived swiftly and my husband is very pleased with it.

I am very happy with the service I've received from Gus Jones Jewellers and would like to thank Andrew in particular. He went to a lot of trouble to help me get the right gift for my daughter in law. This involved exchanging, reordering and redirecting but he was very understanding, patient and very efficient and got the job done to everyone's satisfaction. Can't thank him and his colleagues enough and have no hesitation in recommending this company.
