Not stores fault

Not the drivers fault or the stores fault, but the Grubhub website screwed up and they refuse to make it right. If you are actually chatting with a live person all they type are scripted replies and offer no help whatsoever. I am very disappointed in the Grub hub service. You can't speak to a live individual and all they want to do is blame the customer. True customer service attempts to make things right. Not place blame. Having worked in Customer Service for over 20 years most as a supervisor, you do not blame the customer, EVER. I place an order to be delivered the next day at a certain time. I verified this numerous times. The website does not allow you to go back and see this. They placed and delivered the order over 24 hours early. This order was for almost $300 and was part of a meal for a family for a funeral. Not only did they make a bad situation worse they refuse to further than their script to fix anything. Very poor scripted robotic customer service. This is what AI is leading to.

Grubhub is a complete scam

Grubhub is a complete scam, ever since the merger with Amazon the opportunities have diminished and the tipping has gotten poorer. Driver prices have not been updated with the cost of inflation or gas. The customer service is extremely poor and comical in a sense on how misinformed the agents are. Anyone considering driving for GrubHub should reconsider, they're an absolute joke and nothing but crooks and thieves. Definitely not worth the wear and tear on your vehicle to be paid less than minimum wage. I implore you to boycott this business for their unethical practices and poorly run operations. They're a complete joke 🤣

not worth it for most of America.

Here's the issue, in most cities GrubHub plus simply doesn't make sense.

Around lunchtime, expect EVERY restaurant to not be available because of "high demand." Want to search for just the restaurants doing delivery?

Well, you can't. The issue I have is that this is such a simple feature to add that makes so much sense, I know they've thought of it. But if they added it they know the vast majority of users would constantly see "no restaurants available."

I got GrubHub plus on a promo for $1 a month and I feel ripped off. I literally can't order anything in my entire city. Oh I can see restaurants, and I can order pickup, but if I wanted to do that I'd call or go to the restaurant's website.

Alwayse late

Alwayse late; they give you an original eta and then adjust it after you've ordered. I also tried to get service for an order that was delayed more than 50 minutes and was told I could not cancel untill after my delivery time had elapsed. It's reall not a great service and they have terrible customer service.

Another botched order

I ordered some food like most do on Grubhub. I got my food and the order was missing half the food I ordered. So I called in. The lovely(not) lady that answered couldnt tell me why she couldnt refund it, but the only thing she could do was offer me a $5 off my next order. I spent over $100 on my order and all she could do is offer me $5 off my next order and not tell me why she couldnt refund me the part of the order that was missing!?!?!?!?!?! I will call back until I get someone that:

A: Speaks fluent english, And,
B: I can understand, And
C: That will help me understand why.

I have nothing but time on my hands and hundreds of phone numbers at my disposal.

Poor customer service

I rate Grubhub is well below other delivery services that I use like DoorDash.
I placed an order through Grubhub. They said it would be there within about 45 minutes. An hour and a half later I had not heard anything. I called the restaurant. They said they had never received any order from Grubhub. I assumed it was some sort of mistake and left where I was and went home.
A week later, I got a bill on my credit card. I called Grubhub. It was very difficult getting through to a human. When I finally did, they insisted that the order was delivered. They kept repeating the same words over and over again until I finally gave up and canceled my account.

GrubHub has the worst customer service…

GrubHub has the worst customer service I ordered six tacos from Durango taco shop in Las Vegas nv and did not get my food which cost $28. I called the customer service. They would not help me with no refund no nothing All I got was disconnected four times. They hung up on me with no help at all.

One of the worst delivery services I…

One of the worst delivery services I have ever used. Constant delays, zero accountability, and customer support that seems trained to avoid actually solving problems. The order tracking is unreliable, communication is terrible, and when something goes wrong, Grubhub makes customers jump through hoops for basic assistance. The outrageous fees are impossible to justify considering how consistently poor the service is. This company clearly prioritizes collecting money over providing competent customer care. Completely frustrating experience from start to finish, and I will absolutely be using other delivery services instead.

Grubhub has the worst delivery of any…

Grubhub has the worst delivery of any food order service. Instructions for delivery are SELDOM followed, meaning most of the time I do not realize food has been delivered! Consequently food is usually COLD and INEDIBLE!

Missing item

Ordered from Applebee’s….got the order in the time in stated. The problem was food missing from the order. Grubhub refunded $9.60 on an item that is $11.59 on the menu. Also prices on the Grubhub app verses the Applebee’s app is significantly higher. The only reason I didn’t pick up myself is because I am sick and the only driver in the household. Will not use Grubhub again. It would be helpful if the drivers took pictures of the food at the restaurant so you could see if something was missing before they leave, then again when they deliver.

Grubhub Sucks!!!

I live on a block that has 2 apartment buildings, each at opposite ends of the block. Grubhub delivery drivers either can't read maps, are lazy or stupid or all 3. They left my food at the wrong building despite the fact the addresses are different and both have huge signs with the address on them in the front. Yesterday it took almost 2 hours to get my food from a restaurant 3 miles from me.

Delivery was made over 1.5 hours late!

Delivery was made over 1.5 hours after the order was ready. I tried to chat with customer service and the AI bot told me there’s nothing they can do. I spent $24 for inedible food and an undeserved tip. I tried to get a refund and customer service bot says chat ended so there is no recourse

I ordered from Hardee's through…

I ordered from Hardee's through Grubhub. I didn't get the correct order. I called Hardees and got no help from them, so I called Grubhub customer service. The order that Hardee's received was NOT what I ordered. I don't know what went wrong, but it wasn't my fault. I've ordered from Grubhub at least 10 times in the past 3 1/2 weeks since I've been staying at a motel and NEVER had a problem.
Needless to say, I didn't get any help.
I am not surprised as I've read the reviews and ratings of Grubhub, and they are POOR!!!
I will never use Grubhub again and I will be sure to tell everyone I know to never, ever use this company for food deliveries. I'm very disappointed, but certainly not surprised.
