My boyfriend received a letter from GroupNexus claiming he stayed at Arun Retail Park for 15 hours. This is a complete fabrication. He only popped into a shop for a few minutes in the evening to retur... See more

Unacceptable i had a ticket for only parking in a parking bay only for less than a minute. Same week received penalty notice plz everyone do not hesitate too report this company so people could prevent from getting fines. Completely unacceptable ripping of people.

This is a big scam of a company- shocking customer experience
This is a big scam of a company financial exploiting the public, sometimes at their most vulnerable for example hospitals parking stay. I parked at NGH in January for just over 40 minutes, on my return I inserted my ticket and the machine confirmed’ no payment’ it clearly displayed £0.00 to pay and I could not pay as my ticket had no payment fee registered. I was shocked to then receive a ticket for £80, I wasn’t even sent the first discounted ticket. I explained and provided the above narrative including requesting they view CCTV footage as they would see me and potentially the machine error. This was completely ignored instead sent a discounted fee £40. I continued to explain the situation instead was told that I should have paid as there are many signs about payment. I again referenced their machine making the error that meant I could not paid as it clearly stated my session had zero payment fee registered. Whilst still seeking a resolution the fee was hiked back to £80. I have tried their regulator but unfortunately the link provided didn’t work on three occasions so I gave up and begrudgingly paid an amount am so certain is wrongful charged but this company work so aggressive and uses threatening language. I am utterly disappointed, shocked at how they are allowed to operate in modern Britain using such standard and more so even being contracted to provide parking at hospitals. After reading the reviews I felt better I wasn’t the only one but sad that regardless of the resounding negative reviews with similar themes they haven’t been investigated for the day light robbery.
They should be ashamed to provide such a service and have no morals to rob people like this.
Would give zero if I could
Would give zero if I could. Just received a letter stating I hadn’t paid for parking and yet like all the other comments on here, I had paid at the machine. They need to sort their administrative processes to stop this from happening. Especially when we had paid at the machine at the location, having followed the signage to the parking machine.
I would have been frustrated at any point, but right now I’m struggling to cope with the sudden death of my wonderful father, exactly a week ago today, to now have to deal with these incompetent idiots is pushing my level of coping to the limit.
The government needs to step in and stop these companies from operating.
Disgusting and criminaIs, a total scam!
Abbotsinch Retail Parking, Paisley B&Q
I would give Group Nexus -1000 stars if I could!
They displayed a sign board for max stay of 3hrs at one corner and when I went in from another road, I missed the board. I parked right outside the trade centre of B&Q and surprisingly there's no sign board there and I assumed it's a free parking (of course it's my mistake). I, without knowing this, went in B&Q for shopping and stayed little over 3hrs and today I received a charge letter for £60 or £100 if paid after 14 days.
This company should not be allowed to get away with it. They purposely prey on the people to pay fines by not displaying parking notice boards clearly visible on every parking corner. I can only wish the owner of this parking lot suffer 10x than the people who all paid fines and the company go bankrupt soon and it will happen one day for sure!
extortion racket
Even though we had a permit for free parking at Guildford Hospital Oncology , and correctly followed all the protocols like displaying the permit and logging in, they still send a fine every time.
I gave date of experience below, the date of my appointment although the fine arrived today 20 March, but that was not the only one.
Demanding money out of people illegimately like that is criminal behaviour. In my opinion , they know these fines are not legitimate, but charge them anyway hoping that most of their victims won't bother to appeal. Paeticularly mean and vicious at a hospital car park where victims are stressed by illness. I wonder how much money they've taken illegitimately in this way. They really ought to be investigated for criminal activity.
WHY WOULD YOU EVEN WANT TO WORK FOR A…
WHY WOULD YOU EVEN WANT TO WORK FOR A COMPANY LIKE THIS.GOVERNMENT SHOULD BE SHUTTING THESE PEOPLE DOWN NEXUS, PARKING EYE ETC. ABSOLUTE SH@TS
We went cinema in vue Northampton on…
We went cinema in vue Northampton on 19/8/23 and registered our car for free parking. On 6/10/23 from GroupNexus letter pad with Parking charge Ref. Number with Sol.NN1 on it and photo of our car showing number plate and still we're using that car from Parkingchargepayment we got a parking penalty fine of £60 and they took £61.50 from us and not given any receipt to prove the money they taken. How they charged parking penalty fine for a car details already registered for free parking. Anyway we have lost our earned hard working money unnecessarily. Beware friends this type of incidents happens at any time. We also kept the copy of parking penalty fine papers with us after years passed. So be very careful when parking the car and not forget to register for free parking and check the time. Otherwise they are checking every time in camera and if we late 1 minute then they will charge parking penalty fine. So beware not to lose £61.50 unnecessarily our earned hard working money.
Leigh Woods Parking
I would give Group Nexus no stars if I could!
I went for a lovely walk at Leigh Woods in Bristol and paid my £1.30 for an hours parking via MiPermit.
10 days later, I received an accusing letter from Group Nexus stating I didn’t pay for parking that day and issuing me a fine. Now I’m well aware that I can just appeal this with the evidence but it has put a whole dampener on the experience. I have better things to do than writing an unnecessary email to these scammers!!
This company should not be allowed to get away with it. Especially when they can pray on the vulnerable who are scared and may just pay the fine.
Disreputable company!
Firstly, Trustpilot, why isn't ZERO stars an option? As that is what Groupnexus warrants.
Parked at a local hospital to attend Minor Injuries Unit. Parking has always been a nightmare at the hospital and as a former employee I am aware of the need not to block any other cars, or cause an obstruction to service vehicles. Yet despite parking sensibly, I returned to the car to find a parking ticket on the windscreen. Clearly there was a jobsworth on duty that day. I was tempted to appeal, but given the comments I have seen on Trustpilot about this company, it hardly seems worth the effort or stress.
Deciding I would pay the fine, I was then shocked to see the additional charges for paying on-line or for sending a cheque. What an absolute disreputable company. Shame on you.
After parking in my local hospitals…
After parking in my local hospitals carpark for treatment, I went to pay for the parking at the machine Nexus had installed. The machine took my reg number and told me I didn't have to pay. I took a picture of the message on the screen as I didn't feel safe about what it was saying. A few days later I got a parking fine. I appealed it telling Nexus that I couldn't pay as the machine would not allow it, even supplying the evidence of the machine telling me I didn't have to pay in a picture I had taken on my iPhone. This bunch of thieves took a day to come and tell me that I was still liable and my appeal had been rejected, stating the signage around the car park. It is clear ro me that if the machine will not take payment then the fault is with Nexus.
I am going to g to have to pay the £45 they want for early payment to avoid this increasing. But I am sure they don't look at appeals and just send a copy and paste letter to gain payment. This is in my mind criminal, extorting money without looking at the facts. A disgusting company to deal with. If I could give them a ZERO rating I would
They said i Could appeal but my emails…
They said i Could appeal but my emails don't work 😒
Beware this company won’t send me proof of where I was really parked parked
Beware of this company
Visited Warrington hospital on the 28/01/2026 hospital car park multi story was full ,drove round twice had to pull up to let my wife out on yellow lines , then drove round and found a space next to cars where there was no yellow lines , was there 54min . Next I received a fine in the post , the company took a picture of where I dropped my wife off as there where Yellow lines , I have apealed and told them that I was parked at the side of the hospital where I saw no yellow lines and to sent me the proof , They won’t , send me a video or pictures , they just said I was on site for 54 min
But won’t give me pictures of where I was really parked . Because they know there was no yellow lines there . Beware of this company .I have had to pay the fine , but will be seeking some advice . It’s not right that company’s like this can get away with what they do

Complete scam company they had faulty machine at gym to put reg in i explained this they wanted proof I was there sent that then after rejected my appeal complete scum
We parked in Derby Bingo sign clearly …
We parked in Derby Bingo sign clearly states you can pay on exit, when we came to exit there was no means to pay. We downloaded the app which only gave you the option to pay for future parking. We paid for our parking in the future. We think there is a fine on the way. There is no wy to contact this company at all - This is a scam
This company are absolutely disgusting
This company are absolutely disgusting, I parked at my place of work (outside a hospital) and several months later I received a parking fine (even though no fine was placed on my car). Even through I proved that I am disabled blue badge holder and that I work there, they refused to remove the fine which appears to go against their fairness rules in relation to appeals. My initial work permit as a disable badge holder lasted for 18 months, yet my renewed apparently only lasted for 3 months, and I did not receive a renewal notification to notify me of this. I have no reason to evade getting a permit as its free of charge to me! Furthermore, the letter that advised that I could have a reduced fine of £30 if I paid within 14 days arrived more than 14 days after the letter was dated, which felt to be intentional!

Victim of Circumstance
I parked at Waterfields Car Park Watford. I did some shopping and was back in my car well within the 2 hour limit. Unfortunately the car park exit was blocked and the car park jam packed. It took about 40 minutes to move. I was then over the two hour limit. Several days later I received notice of a charge 100 pounds. I explained the situation I was asked for proof of purchase which I provided. I was then asked to pay 20 pounds. I thought this was unjust. I was a victim of circumstances beyond my control. I wanted to end the matter so sent a cheque for 20 pound. However the cheque seems to have got lost. My bank says it has not been cashed. I have been told I now have to pay 100 pounds. I am the victim of circumstance with no control over these events.
BIG TIME SCAM COMING BUNCH OF UGLY…
BIG TIME SCAM COMING BUNCH OF UGLY PEADO MEN AND EVEN UGLIER FAT WOMEN.
I've tried a million times to appeal but it won't upload the photo if my blue badge. Done it on there Phone app and took picture on THEIR apl and it still says it's to big. So I end up paying. But they don't know who they have tried to extort. Let's see if I pay on not.
Daylight Robert - £60 parking fine for using a free car…
£60 parking fine for using a free car pack at a retail park. Over £4,000 spent in various shops over the busy Xmas period. Have been shopping here for 20 years and wasn't aware of these bent rules.
If you exceed 3 hours you get fined £60. Shopping coupled with attending a restaurant on the same retail park this is very easily to do and I bet many others have been stung.
Daylight Robery
I have appealed and sent all my receipts as proof of my custom in all the stores but the appeal was rejected.
My resolution now is to pay the fine and never shop at Elk Mill again.
