Discrimination against disabled customers.

Popped in for coffee’s on Sunday morning around 11.15am at the Watermill Dorking with the place half empty. Found a table and ordered drinks when we were approached by the waiter to ask us to move as the table was supposed to be reserved. No sign on the table stating reserved so asked if we could stay ten minutes as we were only having coffee’s. After the waiter spoke to the manager we were told we still had to move to a high table. Bearing in mind the place was half empty and then expecting a disabled customer to squeeze into a high chair was out of order. If this is the way they treat customers with disabilities the manager should be dismissed on the spot. Customer relations non existent.

Home Farm View, kirkcaldy - Avoid!!

Went to Home Farm View for lunch for mother's day yesterday and the food was horrid! No lunch menu so had to purchase full dinners at 1.30pm! Steak pie I could have bought in a box from any local store, only veg option was garden peas or mushy peas. Nothing at all cooked - chips, peas and Steak pie just heated up! Steak sandwich was literally that, Steak on bread with no salad, just a poke of chips. Battered haddock came with garden peas or mushy peas, no choice of salad or veg. If you wanted veg you had to purchase separately as a side, so broccoli and cauliflower would have been 2 sides. Absolutely diabolical!! I hope they had a lucrative day yesterday because here are 4 customers they will never see again.
Also interesting to note that HOME FARM VIEW, DEAN PARK WAY, KIRKCALDY is hiding behind this business name so people can't complain about their diabolical food!!

Very helpful staff

We had a visit last SundayLouise went above and beyond by asssisting us with forgotten items, providing helpful dessert recommendations, taking our order, and processing payment st our table, thus saving us from standing in a long queue. The carvery was abundant and expertly cooked, resulting in a thoroughly satisfying experience.

Went into the Lord Ted Pub in Newark…

Went into the Lord Ted Pub in Newark Nottinghamshire. What pub does not have Prosecco glasses! Given a very large wine glass which is just wrong! Wouldn’t recommend Prosecco glasses are available if serving Prosecco. Would you serve a pint in a wine glass?? Had one drink and left would have stayed for several more but didn’t enjoy!

Food is absolutely diabolical

Food is absolutely diabolical. The chicken in the tikka masala is full of gristle and like boiled chicken and the portion sizes are a joke. I got a portion of chips from Barlow Croft at parrs wood and got 12 chips. Was told that greenking only allow the small bowl to be used. Iv tried a few places that are greenking and every time the food is like a kids portion and disgusting. I would NEVER eat this starter sized food ever again.

Our girls bought us a £120 virgin…

Our girls bought us a £120 virgin experience voucher so originally being from Rotherham we booked a night in the Brentwood hotel so we could have a cheeky night away in our old stomping ground, we arranged dog sitters etc and travelled up to Rotherham greeted by the receptionist who was very nice But our room was disgusting the carpet had more stains than patterns the headboard that should have been fixed to the wall was loose and when sitting on the bed it banged against the wall , the room was so run down it was a disgrace instead of a romantic night away we felt like we were in a cheap nasty one night stand hotel, there was no other rooms available so we gave the keys back and went home , forfitting our £120 but hey ho best to be true to ourselves

Avoid if your looking for good fresh food

Went to The Smiddy Inn for the first time and all started well, lovely looking pub, clean toilets, loads of tables, lovely friendly staff but after that it went downhill! We ordered at 12pm doors had literally just opened but we never got our food until 1.10pm. I ordered the steak pie with “creamy” mash it arrived and the mash was frozen mash straight from the microwave! The meat was tasteless and the gravy had a skin on it from sitting under the food warmer. So if you want overpriced mass produced food this is the place for you but I certainly won’t be back

If your looking for a good place to go don't go here

What was right with this pub, we come in on a weeknight to watch the football not a big game and the pub is empty they only have sports menu food on, they have the full menus on the table luring you into a false sense of security getting you apetite ready for then to the turn around at the bar and tell you no. You then have to choose from a limited menu where the prices seem overly extortionate compared to the standard menu. You then finally pick food for them to then again turn around and say oh we dont have that on tonight leaving you with barely any options. They also allow people to book every single table out weeks in advance for games which is a joke you could turn up 2 hours before a game and still have nowhere to sit with booked tables empty. It wouldn't be too bad if this was a 1 off but this happens every time I have come to the George and dragon in Stockport. The managers of this pub need to be replaced it's ran so poorly at the moment customer experience is shocking you want to go to a pub and enjoy yourself which I feel I just can't do any more here which is such a shame as it used to be a really good place to go.

The Old Bell - murder mystery

Had a great evening at the Murder Mystery (I guessed who it was 😊). The actors (Hannah, Amy, Sarah, Callum and Lorenzo) gave their all to entertain us. Not only did they act but ran the bar and served the food. Now that’s what I call multitasking!!
It’s a great pub with a great atmosphere that keeps the beer well. Looking forward to the next one.

Went to singing chocker at castleford. Ordered meals waited 45 minutes which was OK but both meals did not look edible manager took them back and gave us a free drink, when the meals came back still disgusting lasagne mince was all gristle hunters chicken was really rubbery and only a few chips, onion rings tasted as if they had been cooked in old oil. Manager gave us money back for the meals, you don't expect to go out for this

The Mill House Emerson Green

What a disgusting pub
The meal was absolutely disgusting. Ordered the steak with mashed potato with rocket and tomotoe. Well it came out after waiting 1hour. The meal was freezing cold, the mashed potato was powdered mash and looked grey the rocket was shriveled up and a half of a tomotoe. Sent it back.Brought out a replacement a bit warmer but was disgusting. Paid £14 for it. Will never set foot in that disgusting pub again

Town Crier Woodham Ferrers

Booked a table for Sunday lunch at Ipm on arrival we were told its a 50 minute wait for food. There were not many people seated for food so this was a suprise.
When the food arrived the 2 roast dinners were pretty nasty. Hot potatoes but suspiciously frozen looking, the rest of the food was tasteless, the veg was just nasty, I think it was cauliflower cheese but the cheese was missing. The meat was a good portion but, the turkey was kind of boiled, you know when its kept warm for a while in water?? the beef was ooked ok but again it was just tasteless. The others had chips were good but a very small portion.
Dinner over we went to order deserts only to be told it was a further 45 minute wait, my company had driven from Ipswich for this delight pretty sure we wont be doing it again. This was the only place with space for 4 people, I guess everyone else was pre-warned.

Brewery take no responsibility

Lots of great Green King pubs but when you let them know in regards to shocking behaviour from landlords in their name they do not take any responsibility. I was told the proprieters lease from them and can run there pub how they wish. I was asked if i wanted my name and number passed ro the landlords to deal with the matter. Very bizarre as a landlord and pub is a reflection on the brewery, they in in a trusted position and these were extremely abusive to staff and customers via telephone whilst paralytic at home and shut there pub at 11:40 on new years eve. The staff were in tears, the language and behaviour shocking
