Wonga Refunds shambles

This company is so unprofessional that they could not arrange wonga payouts in time, communication is no existence. I would avoid at all cost. KPMG should have been used instead of these cow boys

Don’t believe a word!

This company is impossible to deal with and blatantly lies to you when you call them. They are the administration’s for Wonga and have not met one deadline. Not one. Despite all the creditors with affordability claims being told by email that they would be paid 4 weeks from the 29th January and then being assured by phone that this was still the case, many people have still received nothing. An utter disgrace.

Shame on you!

Shame on you! I think this company have forgotten they are dealing with people’s emotions.
First they issue a high compensation offer to then dash people’s hopes weeks later with a tiny fraction % offer. They then guarantee a payment date of end of Jan but again dash people’s hopes and extend the payout time by a further 4 weeks!
Unbelievably though they fail to honour this payment date as well!
Talk about kicking someone when they are down (3 kicks in their case!)
Appalling, unprofessional company that clearly took on a job that was too big for them!

Wonga fiasco

Wonga fiasco. This company has failed to respond to my emails or communicate what is happening regarding my payment from wonga. Wonga blame GT.. GT blame and direct calls to wonga. I have called 3 times to wonga cannot give me an exact payment date or confirm full bank details to me only the last 4 digits. Cannot confirm if it will be bacs, faster payment or cheque.. Just you Should receive into bank as we have details even though they can't check bank details. This is a joke..!!! I'm due over £360 a greatly reduced amount from original claim.. Grant Thornton will still expect there bill to be paid on time and it will be huge for administrating the wonga debacle will they me made to wait for there money or penalised for keeping customers waiting? I think not. Its Fri 28th still no money in account.

An absolute shambles

The whole administration process with Wonga has been an epic shambles from start to finish.

Goalposts constantly moved. Promised two payout dates and now the second one hasn't been met. People are now receiving generic replies to messages.

No communication has been sent to customers. When customers attempt to find out what is happening, Wonga are directing custs to GT and GT are directing custs back to Wonga.

Nobody has access to customer's full details, which is needed for customers to confirm that the bank account details held by them are correct.

No details of mine have changed. I still hold the same bank account and live at the same address.

I fail to understand why paying this redress has been so difficult.

Awfully managed and I'd be astounded if there isn't any backlash as a result.

Grant Thornton what a joke of a…

Grant Thornton what a joke of a company...
The handling of the whole Wonga fiasco is beyond belief, they have not been able to tell the truth in over 6 months and given the same time frame they have not been able to organise a simple task of making payments to people within a set period. It has been lies and excuses from day 1. If a company is not equipped to carry out a simple operational procedure then they should stick to what they do the best and from what I have experienced and read that is nothing but excellent stories far from the truth

Dismal

The way in which they have handled the whole administration of Wonga is not good the fat cats get fatter so to speak and they had a good deal while they have left everyone who deserves and needs the refund from the redress in the lurch and hanging not good at all when promised have been made with timescales given now been surpassed by many of those who were once customers

Disgusting company who should be held…

Disgusting company who should be held accountable for their behaviour over the Wonga administration and should be totally embarrassed to take their fees as they certainly do not deserve it.

Absolutely disgusting company

Absolutely disgusting company. Have been waiting for my Wonga compensation claim now since the end of January but still haven't received my payment.
When you try to ring either Wonga or GT they just tell you lies to get you off the phone. Why have so many people been paid their redress when so many people haven't. They have had 4 weeks to make payments to everybody and I still haven't received my money. Absolutely disgusting. No response to emails, lies told over the phone. Furious. Its disgusting that they are only paying out 4.3% of what is rightfully yours, but then to mess people around like this is shocking and unacceptable.
I use debt camel and there are so many people who have been let down by such a shambolic company. There is just no reason why this has gone on for so long. I've resigned that I'm not going to receive my payment now like many others. Its been years of stress and debt. Yet when Wonga finally went bust, I hoped that would be it and would receive my compensation for all my mis-sold loans but the shambles of this has been unbelievable. Grant Thornton need to be massively sanctioned for the mess they have made. I am fuming beyond words and clearly I'm not the only one. Disgusting.
