Very easy to order. Nice product. Used click and collect which was real simple. Said you needed ID which I didn't need so don't know why it states that you need to take this with you.

trail shoes
I went in to try on some trail shoes. Michelle asked me what I was looking for. I tried on so many pairs of shoes but none of them felt right due to my oddly shaped feet. She even tried different insoles after checking my arches on a machine. Michelle could not have been more helpful. I will go back and find the right shoes. She was very knowledgeable

The tent was easy to put up
The tent was easy to put up. The black interior works very well.
I used it for the first time this weekend in some blustery wind with no problem.

Great experience in store today
Great experience in store today. Was looking for trousers and a waterproof for my husband. Roger showed me all the suitable waterproof jackets, explained prices and differences. Waited patiently while I contacted my husband to make a choice. All done cheerfully. Very friendly. Also sorted out my details on the system which have been slightly wrong for 10 years! Roger worked out what was wrong and has updated it so finally I won't have any problems with my go outdoors card.

Looking for hiking boots. A very large range available in all sizes, from budget to premium brands. Able to try them on.
Friendly young man answered my questions.
BTW they stock a very wide range of mainly local regions' OS maps.
Friendly person at the checkout.

I purchased walking boots
I purchased walking boots, shoes and socks for a hiking trip. Tim served me on the footwear department. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable.
I also had help and advice from two female members of staff on the clothing department.
Unfortunately not all of the items I needed to buy are available yet due to seasonal stock changes but overall the visit was a good experience.

You can't beat going round an actual store…
You can't beat going round the store and viewing actual possible purchases. All the staff are extremely helpful. I will definitely be back soon. I will recommend Scunthorpe Go Outdoors to others.
