Cannot possibly recommend.

I expected a professional window cleaning service. The 'clean' took less than fifteen minutes for a four bedroom detached house with conservatory. Not surprisingly it was a very poor job.

I called to cancel the service before the next scheduled visit. I was told I was liable for a further £38 cancellation fee, as per their terms and conditions.

Nowhere on the booking part of the site is this commitment declared. I consider this deceitful, but having received notification of intent to claim have decided to pay the £38 and walk away, sadder, wiser, and poorer.

Stop littering with flyers

Littering my entire town with flyers on a daily basis by sticking them to every car.

Messaged the owner on Facebook but was completely ignored.

I'm tired of having to clean them off after a rainy day.

Trash

The person that Gleam Windows employs to deliver their junk mail flyers in Hutton Preston is making a great 1st impression by not actually posting flyers THOUGH peoples letter boxes, but instead leaving them hanging from the outside of the letterboxes to get caught in the wind and litter the place like trash.
To make matters worse they’re walking over peoples lawns and through planted flowerbeds to get from house to house, rather than using the paved pathways like an evolved human being should.
I messaged Gleam Windows about it via their Facebook page and it was read and responded to by them sending a link to schedule an appointment to clean my windows. Needless to say if Gleam Windows staff treat people’s property so disrespectfully in the 1st instance Gleam Windows should not expect to be hired.

Rude owner

Poor service and the owner is very rude.

Disappointing that they weren’t interested in our complaint and were unwilling to return as their website states.

Avoid

If it were possible to give 0 stars, I would. Would definitely not recommend Gleam Windows, Southport. They scratched our windows (unintentionally I am sure...) and have denied all responsibility. Our windows were not marked before they came and were when they left, so it's pretty clear to me. We are now having to fork out a considerable chunk of money to replace them.
