Formby GP is a private GP surgery opposite Freshfield Station. Enjoy medical care like it used to be - unhurried face-to-face appointments with a doctor who gets to know and care about your family. We are open five days a week, and can offer home visits as well as appointments at our modern, well-equipped premises.

I have used the gps over 3 years

I have used the gps when my old nhs doctors couldn't see us ..wait time 16 weeks. So for 3 years if we had a problem we went to see DrJohn, he looked after me and my husbands needs over 3 years .A truly brilliant Doctor.
Dr Heather has been seeing me after getting a cancer scare. She has been amazing rushing things through so I didn't have to wait . Texting me regularly sorting prescriptions out and generally going over and above my expectations. The staff who work there are very good too. Even though I have a new nhs gp I will continue to go there . They give you time and there's not a rush ,they listen and hear when you tell them something. Also they act quickly and send you all results.
These Doctors are worth a visit .
