I went to have my eye test at my local big chain and saw some lovely Gucci sunglasses while in store. Tried them on and fell in love with them but NOT the shops price! Left it a couple of weeks and thought I would check online to see if I could purchase them for a better price, and I’m so glad I did!
The same glasses with better lenses plus delivery (and I used a cash back site!) and they were still £60 less than the frame alone in the high street store…
As mentioned, I purchased better (polarised) lenses and the turnaround time was excellent!
I was kept up to date throughout the creating and shipping process, and the glasses arrived in beautiful condition, completely protected during transit!

Unfortunately the clear vision was only very close to my eyes and they were meant to be reading glasses. Not sure why, but it would have been helpful to have sent a picture of my prescription to make sure the details were right and adequate. They were happy for me to return them via UPS, waiting for refund.

I've been buying my glasses from Glasses Direct for many years and have always been happy with the result. However, I recently had an issue with my latest pair of varifocals. The graduated setting height had been set a little high and, as a result, I had to lower my head slightly to get the correct focus at any distance. Having contacted Glasses Direct, they guided me through the process of returning and re-making the lenses to correct the issue. I posted the glasses on Friday and I had them back on Tuesday having been kept in touch with progress throughout. Truly outstanding after sales service!

After my daughter bought prescription glasses from Glasses Direct and praised their quality and price,
I decided to give them a try. My first order was for a pair of prescription sunglasses, and I was so pleased with them that I immediately ordered a second pair for driving. However this time, I chose polarised sunglasses. They are fantastic! They completely eliminate all glare and reflections on the windscreen, giving a super, crystal-clear view of the road ahead.

How efficient, quick and easy it was to order my glasses. Such a wide range to choose from and brilliant prices. I made my order on Tuesday and received all 3 pairs (2 glasses & 1 sunglasses) by Sunday! Incredible service and fantastic glasses!

I ordered two pairs of prescription glasses, one for myself and one for my wife. Both were exactly as expected and of good quality.

Very good experience ordering my new prescription varifocal transition lenses and frame. Ordered and received within 7 days. Excellent value with a promotion code provided by Glasses Direct. Only slight and I mean slight negative point - lack of glasses cleaning cloth, and a solid glasses case. The glasses arrived in an Armani Exchange A/X which is the make of the frame and a pouch inside with the glasses. I would have preferred a traditional glasses case with a cloth. A minor gripe.

Very good informative website making selecting the correct lenses for your glasses easy. Very pleased with my glasses from Direct Glasses. Quick delivery and a fraction of the price than my previous glasses from my opticians.

I am still getting adjusted to the glasses so early days. There is a vast selection of frames on their website, good options for lenses. Definitely cheaper than high street but a few caveats;
- you have to try the frame virtually so accuracy may not be perfect
- their voucher codes dont always work. In my case the customer services were kind enough to allow me the discount promised
- The glasses arrived in soft pouches instead of hard cases. The hard glass cases cost very little and would have really added value to the whole transaction.
I have bought previously from specscart which was definitely better but slightly more expensive. Also have great customer service and allow try at home frames.

Easy to use with aids to facilitate a complex prescription. Good delivery times too.

I would definitely recommend using Glasses Direct. The website is easy to use when searching for the correct size of frames. Also, there is no messing about in uploading your prescription as you are able to input the info yourself. There is also a 'try on' option via your camera too, see get a feel of how the glasses would look on you. Delivery is quick so I will definitely be using this company again.
