He provided an outstanding service at my property today 05/05/2026, and really went the extra mile.

In my past experiences, the standard of some operatives hasn’t always been great, but Lewis completely changed that impression. He took the time to carry out a thorough check and gave my shower drain a proper clean, He was able to fix the issue DURING THE DURATION OF THE JOB rather than rushing the job which meant I wouldn’t have to reschedule or follow up with another appointment! He was both kind and highly knowledgeable throughout. If Gilmartins had more workers like Lewis, the company would truly thrive.

He is an aspect to your team and it shows :)

Very poor and unprofessional service…

Very poor and unprofessional service from Gilmartins.
Appointments are repeatedly missed, changed at short notice, or incorrectly logged as “no access,” which is simply not true. We have a door entry system that records all calls, and there is no record of any missed visits at the times claimed.
The latest appointment was cancelled on the day, with a claim that a voicemail had been left—no voicemail was received. The next available appointment has been pushed back by another month.
This reflects a consistent pattern of disorganisation, poor communication, and failure to follow through on commitments. Repairs have been ongoing for months without proper resolution.
A very frustrating experience from start to finish.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY

I’ve had a very poor experience with this company. They have repeatedly cancelled appointments, often at short notice, which has been extremely frustrating. On the occasions they have actually attended, they only take photos of the issues that need repairing and then leave without carrying out any work or providing a clear follow-up.

Their communication has been unprofessional, and I’ve found their attitude rude and dismissive. Overall, the service feels unreliable and disorganised.

I would strongly advise others to avoid this company and consider alternative providers.

If i could give them a minus I would

If i could give them a minus I would. These people came out to repair one side of a double socket. He unplugged my freezer and fixed it. He then left my freezer unplugged which resulted in me losing all my freezer food which was around £500. I complained and they said in short that the socket didn’t work and I’m lying. Disgusting behaviour

Very Poor Workmanship

Very Poor Workmanship
Beyond disappointed with the level of workmanship completed by the Gilmartin's contractor @ our Peabody managed property. The wall was left with massive bubbles in the plaster work and the carpet was also destroyed.

Outstanding service

Having read the negative reviews i am very confused. The service i received from start to finish was outstanding, i was regularly updated by telephone and the engineer that visited was polite and professional, made sure i was satisfied before he left and cleared up very well.
