I would suggest everybody to get upside. This app has really gives back cash. The customer service team has really been diligent in solving my issues, in a timely manner. This app provides cash back in a variety of ways, you should try it. Great app to have, with customer support that cares.

I had two purchases that never asked me…

I had two purchases that never asked me to upload a receipt. Guess Upside needed it, though. They assisted me and got my rewards credited to my account. Trust them to help me.

It works

It works. Customer service interaction seems to differ at times in terms of responding.
The only downside is having to upload receipts for proof of purchase when cash back has not been paid.

My experience has been good

My experience has been good! Sometimes I have to teach out to customer service for some transactions that have been more than 10 days, but they respond promptly and resolve the issue! One thing I don't like is if you wait until you get to a location to claim the offer, the cash back will drop significantly!

I have used UPSIDE for over one year

I have used UPSIDE for over one year. My Main job is A Door Dasher. I also do other delivery jobs. I drive mostly 100+ miles a day. I fill up probably 3 times a week. In one year I have made less than $40. When I hear the commercials that say "I made _2 maybe $300 this year" I laugh! Is it maybe $200 or $300? Big difference!! I again haven't gotten $40 in cash back in over a year! It is impossible to earn $200 or $300 dollars in one year! Make the commercials realistic.

I have been happy using upside for a couple of years until May 30. There has been no attempt to resolve this problem. Poor customer service.

I have been happy using upside for several years until last Saturday. I clicked an offer for a grocery store and when I went to upload a receipt the app asked for my user name and password. I put in my email address and forgot password. The app said an account is already set up with that email. Seriously? Then it said use your google password which I also had to change and your app set up a new upside account. My account is sitting with at least $40 in it that I would like to transfer to my bank account.
I messaged with the Assistant who could not help me and set up 3 support tickets. Why ? I’m not sure but they are5799382, 5799325 and 5799244. The instructions say to get into my account thru the App but I CANNOT open the app. I responded to one of the emails with a photo of the receipt. It’s been 4 days and I have not received any response. Highly frustrated. Unless this is resolved, I will have to stop using upside. The automated respondent is worthless.

A Llittle Gift for the Growing Cost of Gas that We Have To Buy Anyway.

I like and acknowledge that this is giving back a portion of what I am spending anyway. It really is no problem to stake a claim. Get my gas and snap a picture of the receipt.
With that said it starts out great but it quickly fizzles. My first time using the app I bought $70 worth of gas and I got almost 7 dollars in my balance of cashback. Each time since then has been pocket change. My last experience with the app I bought $99 worth of gas and I got four dollars and some change cash back. What a disappointment considering how it started. I’m not sure if the juice is worth the squeeze or the squeeze is worth the juice. However, that saying goes, I believe that rideshare workers will probably benefit the most. But you really have to leave it alone and allow it to accumulate. The Upside app allows you to accumulate a balance based on money that you’re spending on gas anyway. So I may be disappointed with the calculations I don’t take for granted the fact that this is definitely a gift generated by money that we have no choice, but to spend.

Never had a problem getting my cash…

Never had a problem getting my cash added. This one time it took a long time. I keep my receipts until I see it added. Sent in a request and got my cash added. My biggest problem is getting through to customer service. All of this AI junk makes it difficult.

My retailers disappeared from my options

I loved upside when I first got it, but all of the places I shop have disappeared from available retailers. I compared with a friend of mine and the places that have disappeared for me are available to her. But I loved it when it had my retailers.

The app is easy to use

The app is easy to use, I enjoy using it when I go shopping, dining, and using at the gas station. Cash back is reasonable especially when you use towards the necessities, why not getting cash back.

Difficulty getting cash back

Starting in May 5th-21st I have only received one cash back using a fleet card! I have had to take pictures of the receipts because EVERY transaction with the fleet card says needs review! The first 2 transactions I didn’t have the picture of the receipt but every one after I have sent in and only received 1 out of 3! I was under the impression that the app would be easy to use and it is, the difficult part is getting the cash back. I keep trying to give the app a chance but I’m on the verge of deleting it! Not worth all I have to do for a small amount!

the app is not that easy to use. but with patience it works. I wouldn't use it for gas as I get cheaper gas prices at Costco. and get cash back using their card. however for groceries and restaurant it's good to use
