Still haven’t received my tickets

I ordered tickets for Shawn Mendes in May 2018 for his upcoming show in Birmingham on 9 April 2019. I was told by Get Me In that my tickets would arrive a week before the event however I still haven’t received a confirmation of their despatch, let alone the tickets themselves. They informed me that if I hadn’t received my tickets within 2 business days of the event someone would call me, but I haven’t heard from anyone and there is now less than 1 working day until the show. I cannot find a number to call them, and no one has replied to the numerous emails I’ve sent. Thoroughly upset and disappointed as the tickets were a present for my sisters birthday. I am expecting a full refund when/if they finally get back to me

I bought tickets for Shawn Mendes for…

I bought tickets for Shawn Mendes for this Saturday 6th April day, my kids worked and saved for these tickets, UPS say they delivered but we were both at work and our kids at school, we have never received them, we have hotels booked my kids are so upset. I cannot get hold of anyone at GETMEIN or Ticketmaster. We have hotels booked.

Re Brian Cox Tickets.

Re. Brian Cox tickets that failed to arrive!
Getmein sent me two Emails in February confirming that the tickets were on their way, the latter with UPS tracking details. I had no reason to doubt that they would arrive!
Their reply states that their seller let them know that he was unable to supply them, so why on earth didn't they inform me? At least we could have deflected some of the disappointment of my Son and his Wife, who were hugely looking forward to the event . It would also have avoided all the stress it has caused me over the last few days.
As regard the matter of being repaid immediately, this is not the case!
They sent two Emails on the 26th February, one claiming that they had repaid us immediately. Not true!
The second, that they are going to reimburse me the full amount sometime within in the next 3 to 15 days!
On the basis that they sent me two Emails confirming tickets that failed to show up, my confidence levels are not high and I'm pursuing a claim through Paypal.
Stop press: Good news at last, the money has been repaid today - but I still feel scarred enough by the whole experience to post this response!

Get Me in worthless Fan Guarentee

ORIGINAL POST:
Absolutely no response from Get Me In to complaint raised over the supply of cancelled tickets for a re-scheduled Tears for Fears gig. The Seller apparently claimed a refund and Get Me In emailed to say tickets still valid. I feel scammed at best, out of pocket £300 plus hundreds of wasted miles driving and a hotel bill. Tears for Fears was the first gig I ever saw in 1983, alas Brighton 2019 was met with a no entry sign. Disgusted, infuriated and overall disappointed. Have spent thousands of pounds with Ticketmaster Group companies. Fan guarantee my backside. No phone number,no email,no nothing.

Booked for Boyzone 7th Feb been chasing…

Booked for Boyzone 7th Feb been chasing tickets finally arrived today, but I had purchased Section A2 row M and have been sent Section A2 row R !!! Not impressed at all. I had emailed several times even before the tickets arrived today, but got no reply. Get Me In are a joke can see why they are now out of business, take our hard earned money and do nothing to help. Should be ashamed of them selves so should Ticketmaster for being associated with them. Customer support does not exist

Tickets for Boyzone haven’t been sent yet

Tickets for Boyzone at o2 on 7th Feb haven’t been dispatched by the seller (get me in seller, not ticket master) yet... I was also selling some via get me in and so I know ticketmaster have dispatched them all. I know that when ups are booked they show as dispatched from this experience, so I can see the ones I have purchased have not been booked with ups yet. I have emailed get me in twice and desperately need someone to contact the seller to ensure I receive my tickets in time. PLEASE HELP!

Because we’re a resale website and we don't own the tickets we can't give you an exact date of dispatch as this will depend on when your seller receives tickets from their place of purchase

Unfortunately sometimes the event organisers can dispatch tickets close to the event date and even as up until the week of the event.It's normal for tickets to be sent out in different batches. We can see that your order has now been dispatched and shows as delivered to you.

Envelope arrived, but no tickets!!

SCAMMERS!! AVOID!!!

Purchased 4 tickets for Boyzone on 2nd February. Arrived home this evening to find large brown envelope waiting for me..it was empty. No tickets!! Can’t get in touch with customer services Getmein on the phone, or email. Logged email with Getmein, and UPS.

UPDATE..three emails to Get Me In and still no reply. Leaving me no choice but to take them to small claims, for non delivery of order. UPS has been great.

Thank you for your feedback and I’m really sorry to hear that your tickets were lost by UPS. We’ve looked into your order and can see when you contacted our help page, one of our team already raised a tracer with UPS which initiated an investigation on your package.

Unfortunately, we are unable to replace lost tickets as we don't own the tickets and have no direct relationship with the venue, this means we don't have a facility to cancel and reissue tickets.

Generally we allow UPS up to 8 working days to complete their findings but as the event was taking place before then a refund was issued to you.

We know how much you’re looking forward to getting your tickets, but as we’re a ticket resale website we don’t own any of the tickets sold through our site. Because of this we have to allow Sellers time to receive their tickets from their place of purchase, and then dispatch these on to you.

Dispatch often varies between promoters and sometimes, as is the case for Boyzone, tickets are not dispatched by the event organisers until closer to the event date. But we’ve checked and tickets have now started to be posted by the event organisers, and your seller has arranged posting to you. You can follow the delivery progress using the tracking number in your dispatch confirmation email.

Poor service - book with the venue direct!!

Awful customer service. Cancellation of artist not communicated. Getmein doesn’t answer the call. Ticketmaster offered no help in the matter.

I bought my boyfriend tickets to future and Nicki Minaj tour - future cancelled his part (the whole reason we booked was to see his favourite artist) this was not communicated to us.

We booked time off work, booked a hotel, then noticed it on the arenas website. Getmein has now closed and are answering no calls. Ticketmaster has batted responsibility off to getmein.

How are we meant to get a refund??? This has been a hugely inconvenient, frustrating and not to mention disappointing experience.

disgusting service

Order 3061041 bought 2 tickets for josh grobeen in the 02 for my husbands birthday.received a email that the tickets were on the way I called get me in to ask where they were as they had not arrived and was told that ups had proof of delivery that they were delivered on the 19th November when I asked who signed for them was told the delivery put them in a mail box I informed I had a letter box then then asked if my neighbors had them or had someone received them in my home I have no neighbors near by and we were out of the country and our home was locked up.they told me they would investigate and update on the 12/12 which was the day of the event.
4 hours to go and no update and their response was ups driver said he delivered them and no refund would be made. I am furious and I want answers why expensive tickets were sent with no signing as proof of receipt and how can they say they have proof when it’s my word (who paid for the tickets) and a delivery man.my husbands birthday was ruined as I had given him the receipt for this and was looking forward to it we are pensioners and can’t afford to lose this amount of money I want a response from whoever

We ask all our buyers to provide an address where someone can be available to accept delivery to avoid delays and because we're unable to replace missing tickets. When you contacted our call centre, one of our team already raised a tracer with UPS which initiated an investigation on your package. This usually takes around 8 working days,

UPS have now completed the investigation and confirmed that the package was posted through the mailbox (letterbox) of the provided address.

A FEW MONTHS AGO I BOUGHT 4 TICKETS FOR ENRIQUE IGLESIAS (PAID OVER £700) AND NEVER GOT THE TICKETS. I SENT MANY EMAILS AND JUST GOT TOLD NOT TO WORRY, THE DAY OF THE CONCERT I STILL DIDN'T GET MY TICKETS. I HAVE'NT BEEN REFUNDED AND I HAVE COMPLAINED MANY TIMES AND STILL GOT NO RESPONSE.

As you can see below ,getmein haven't bothered to even read my complaint correctly and the line about no available replacements is just untrue. Finally they state secure postage of tickets is the only way guarantee they arrive on time; well they didn't and whats wrong with emailing ?

When securing replacement tickets.we always source from sellers who have a proven sales history and who confirmed tickets are in hand for immediate dispatch. Unfortunately there just weren’t any equivalent tickets available so we refunded you immediately.

We ask our sellers to post tickets to you through a secure courier, this means that the delivery can be tracked so we can make sure they arrive with you safely and in the rare case anything did go wrong we can investigate to resolve any problems for you.

Excellent service. I was worried with all the negative reviews after buying Leon Bridges tickets. Only paid an extra £10/ticket above face value. The e-tickets arrived 4 weeks before the gig and worked fine. Delivery is a bit overpriced. Will use again

If I could give get me in a zero star…

If I could give get me in a zero star then I would. We paid well over £350 for 2x E-tickets to Florence and The Machine, when booking i explicitly requested email tickets as I was about to move house. One week before the event, still no information about the tickets I logged in online to check for any updates. My original order had been cancelled and they had found replacement postal tickets. Fine, but without even an email notification or a phone call getmein decided to just use my billing address (150miles away) as a delivery address and not let me know. The tickets had still not been shipped so luckily the address could be changed but this was not without it’s problems, I had to call 6 times to change the address, 4 of which they hung up on me mid phone call so I had to call back and explain the problem all over again.
4 days before the event still no tickets, I called again to check for an update and the call handler said quote he was “worrying” for me. I had to call back AGAIN at 2pm that day for an update where he told me the tickets had been dispatched for next day delivery and I would receive an email notification with a tracking number.
On receipt of the email it told me to expect my tickets in five days time. The tracking number provided was also not working so I had to call back...again...and was told the 5 day delivery time was a misprint and it would guaranteed be there by 1pm the next day (Tuesday) he also said as the tickets had only just been delivered the tracking number would take a while to load onto the Royal Mail system.
Tuesday morning I logged onto Royal Mail to track my tickets, tracking number still not working, so I called Royal Mail who told me the tracking number does not exist. I called back getmein (again) and they assured me the tickets were being sent special delivery to arrive today. Well it’s now Tuesday evening, less than 48 hours to go and still no sign of any tickets, tracking number and I haven’t missed anything from Royal Mail either as there is no card.

Total disaster, it seems like every step of the way I have been lied to and I’m really sick of listening to there hold music now. Tomorrow morning will be my 13th phone call to try and resolve this issue.

I would only recommend getmein to somebody that I really didn’t like.

I wouldn’t even give this 1 star!!! It is the worst ticket site ever! I got my dad tickets for billy ocean for his birthday, the e-tickets came on my emails so I printed them off thinking I could get into the event with these tickets. Only to get there and be told these are not the tickets and I should of been sent tickets which I did not receive, we got turned down and had to go home. I then later emailed this company and they got back to me stating I couldn’t have a refund because I didn’t let them know before the event started. I even had proof for the company by the manager of the event giving me a letter explaining me and my dad couldn’t get into the event... I think it is disgusting how I can’t get my refund even though I have proof and evidence I was sold these tickets which I did not recieve.

Your tickets were posted by your seller using UPS in May 2018, and no delivery issue reported. We understand that unfortunately delivery to the venue was refused because only the UPS address label was presented to them. Regrettably as no delivery issue was reported in meant that we had to assume tickets had been received back in May.

I've had a bad experience

I've had a bad experience. I trusted getmein because I thought they were connected to ticketmaster. They took my money in July but now I discover 2 days before event the tickets are not available. They didn't let me know. I had to contact them and they spun a complete yarn. The emails to them are returned not deliverable but luckily I found a phone number online (there's no number on their website) their call centre is Bulgaria. Very poor service and I'd never use them, or other places, again. Don't let them take your hard earned money

DISAPPOINTMENT COUNTS FOR NOTHING

If you can help it or you have alternative options I highly recommend that you DO NOT use GETMEIN.

I purchased tickets at a much inflated price for the U2 show at the O2 on Wednesday . I travelled from Brighton which is about one hundred and twenty miles and then paid the extortionate cost of parking at the venue. When I arrived at the doors of the Sky Lounge the tickets were rejected. The seller had either chanced his luck that he would get my money and attended at the show himself or he had attempted to sell the tickets multiple times. Either way I am sure you can imagine my disappointment when my tickets for the show for which I had been waiting for a good few months were rejected.

My contact with GETMEIN following this incident cause me to become more and more angry. I had to prove that my tickets were rejected and that took quite some time in liaison with the O2. I was advised that I would receive a full refund but in a manner that made me feel that I should be grateful or that they were doing me some kind of favour. As yet eight days later the money is yet to be refunded.

I asked GETMEIN to advise how they might try to minimise this happening to other people in the future and was told that they could not discuss this with me due to reasons of confidentiality. I was informed that the seller would be disciplined but that goes no way to alleviating any of my disappointment.

Yes I got my £700 back but I will never get that show back.
