The app itself is great. Very well designed and thought out. This is a solo development project, so support is extremely limited. Seeing as how this app is monetized rather than open sourced, no support will be given for anything that is not already a part of the app, and you can never really see what the app is doing. There is also no option to host your web dashboard locally, so it is all hosted from someone elses servers and there is obviously a fair amount of latency as well as a constant need to refresh the page to view live data. If you are someone that simply has extra hardware with no server experience and want to host a game server, this is an excellent option that will do everything you will ever need. If you are someone with a fair amount of experience working with servers just wanting to streamline the process, the app works, but functionality is limited, you only get what is there and nothing more. Some might say it takes a little bit of freedom out of server work, you can modify your machine as you see fit, but you are entirely on your own to make it work, certainly not something that would be an issue with open source projects. You are basically instructed to install gsa on a fresh machine and never do anything except for what you can do from the gsa dashboard.

This is a great app, but it gets just a little too much credit. Everyone talks about it like it does absolutely everything, when it simply does not, and most of what it does do must be paid for.

Brilliant app for managing your servers. This app got everything an admin needs, and it even works great for RCON. The developer also gives good support on their discord channel and is always answering the best they can. I dont even know how I would do everything without the app. It saved me a lot of time already!

Using DediConnect software is super simple, and the instructions guide is very easy to follow. The installation of game servers is seamless and effortless. Love the auto-update feature, and discord/email notifications. Plus a huge bonus with an integrated shop system + Webstore that works on most compatible games. Ark (ASA + ASE), Atlas, or any other game that has RCON compatibility. I would recommend this service to any dedicated self-hosting owners to use this software 100%. Looking forward to more games being added to this service!

I have been using GameServerApp for about 4 months now to manage my Ark Survival Ascended Servers. I have had nothing but great experiences with this product and the support provided. You would never guess that this product was created and maintained by one single person. The work that is put into this is the work of a medium-large dev team.

Having access to a central point for many servers is beyond useful. Gone are the days of having to remember RDP information for 3–4 boxes. With GSA, you can link them all to one dashboard and with the new "Restrict Access" feature that Max recently implemented, you can ensure that no one else is gaining access to your machine by whitelisting IPs you provide for management access.

Another great feature is the amount of games supported on GSA. If you and your friends want to spin up a Minecraft server for that one week out of the year you want to play it, with GSA you can do that in as little as 5 minutes. Then, after playing that one week of Minecraft, you want to play some 7 days to die? Well, in about 5 minutes, you can be slaying zombies to your heart's content. And the best part is that there is no extra cost!

The Dashboards provide real-time information for players, groups and even commands run on your server. You no longer need 10 separate tools to manage a server; they are all integrated into one dashboard for easy access. RCON, Mod Installs, Plugin Installs, Logs, and Player Info. You can even spin up a MySQL database right from the dashboard. No Database experience is required. Just one click of a button.

My experience with GSA has been wonderful, and the work put in by Max truly shows. He is always willing to help and point you in the right direction if he cannot. The documents provided are better than 90% of most companies that have dedicated departments to write them. I highly recommend this product to anyone who wishes to host their own servers, whether they are new, inexperienced server owners or server owner veterans.
