I initially bought a game (Order #26944247) and the order was selected for manual review, which wasted several hours of my time. The status eventually changed to "Item Refunded," but my "My Games" page was empty and no refund had been sent to my card.
After contacting support, they informed me that there was an issue with their API. Fortunately, they did send the refund and even provided a 50% off code. I was able to apply that discount on top of the existing game discount, and this time, the order processed instantly.
While this whole process was frustrating and time-consuming, they did resolve the issue and offered compensation, which I appreciate. Hopefully, they improve their manual review system to avoid these delays in the future.

like many others here i bought dragon ball sparking zero on gamersgate.com. upon realizing that they were having problems distributing codes i asked for a refund in their customer service box. the refund was swift and without question which was nice because their policy makes it look like refunds aren't just handed out. while i could've just charged back after i bought the game elsewhere gamersgate made the pro consumer decision to do a no questions refund and that's worth something

ANNOUNCEMENT: Do not spend your money here if you want a guarantee that you will have access to your game in the same day. I have never thought I would see the day you can buy something and have no idea when you will receive it.

I bought a game from then and it took some time to get the code. I message the help center and they helped me with reviewing my account, to issues with regions and have a quick response. I will use their services again !

Same issue as below, with no fix insight.
Purchased using guest account. Email address is an outlook email address. Asked to login once my card was charged. Unable to login and unable to reset my password (never created an account but it states that an account already exists).
Unable to contact on discord, still waiting reply via Facebook.
Totally unacceptable, quick to take my money but won’t provide my steam key.
Not sure how to even get into contact with them!!

Honestly, this was one of the most frustrating experiences I've had with a key retailer like this. When viewed in comparison to competitors like Green Man, Humble, and Fanatical, I don't see myself returning for future purchases.
I made a purchase yesterday using guest checkout, but after my payment was confirmed and processed, I was required to log in to access my key. Given that I hadn't created a password with my purchase (again, guest checkout) I was unable to log in to actually redeem my key.
Most sites that use guest checkout will either send you the product codes through email, or create an account for you and either provide a temporary password or have you reset it right away to access your purchase. But as I can now see based on previous responses on Trustpilot, it looks like they're having trouble interacting with Microsoft-based emails. (MSN, Hotmail, Outlook, Live). This meant that I had no way of interacting with their support team directly via the ticket system on their website, and no way of resetting my password, as any password reset email would've been sent to my Microsoft email.
And since there's no disclaimer on their website about known issues with Microsoft-based emails, there's no way for the customer to mitigate this ahead of time. (Seriously, gmail and yahoo are both free, and if it means I can access my purchase right away, that's an easy workaround.)
Regardless of their justification, I was stuck without access to my purchase for nearly 24 hours, and I was only able to contact a support rep after trying to get ahold of their social media reps on Twitter/X and Messenger. (I did eventually get a response on X the following day!)
Usually when I buy a game I expect to be able to start my download and get to playing the same day I purchase it, at least. That's the whole point of buying digital over physical. I lost a full day of my already-scarce free time to this. No sale or promo is worth this kind of hassle.

A little confusing at first but once I had the account for both this website and steam worked out everything became incredibly easy. Great prices. You do not have to wait for a steam sale to get a deal.

I try to use Gamersgate to buy Steam keys as often as possible since 1) they're Swedish and 2) I can pay in SEK and use my Amex for points.
But, the delivery time for the keys are long. The last 3-4 purchases have all been selected for manual review and, even though it says it takes max 24h, it usually takes longer. I get it, you've had problems with bots but when do I become a trusted customer? My account is 10+ years old and has 10+ purchases.
Don't be in a rush if you need a key from this site.

I contacted customer service and Michael got back to me pretty much instantly - literally within a few minutes - and refunded those purchases. Not only that, he gave me advice on how to check if games could be redeemed as well

I have been in contact with the support for a couple of weeks now. The email responses seem to be auto generated or ai generated. Always the same excuses and completely useless suggestions that do not match the problem I have at all.
To be a little more specific: from the beginning the problem was that the installer of the gane did not run at all. I provided several screenshots to prove that. Nevertheless there were several suggestions regarding the drive or the folder where the gane is installed. There is no way a human being has read the problem report to provide these suggestions. That is why I assume the are auto generated … or produced by a rather untrained ai.

Support replied in literally 4 Minutes (emailed them at 22:35, got a reply 22:39) because Outlook is blocking their messages from arriving to my inbox and junk folder. They swapped to a Gmail address they asked me for and everything worked perfectly fine. Avoid using Outlook with their services, Gmail should be good to go!
