Very expensive delivery
Furniture looks nice but quality is very disappointing. I bough the laddered chest of drawer. All the drawers are misalign and from the side they don’t close properly.

These folding chairs are great for use in the garden but elegant enough for use indoors. Well made but care needs to be taken when moving that all four corners are secured otherwise they’re not completely safe to sit on.
The delivery company was appalling with about 12 emails mostly repetitive and scheduled delivery time continually changing. They came days later than promised. Great comfortable chairs. though!

A truly helpful lady at the Guildford branch took such trouble helping me past the slightly negative ordering system and helped me get a futon day bed shipped the Isle of Wight for my wife’s birthday

I emailed asking a question on 16th July, website says they will reply in 2 working days. Emailed again 23rd July as no response. Still no response today 30th July. Non existent customer service

Plenty of useful information about delivery times and tracking etc.
Speedy delivery and well packaged when it arrived.

The futon itself is beautiful, well made with lovely fabric.

Ordering my item was easy, but led me believe that I would receive a phone call from the courier company within a few days to arrange delivery and that that would take place within a certain number of days.

I did have problems as I didn’t receive a call and had to chase up dispatch of my futon.

Being put through to 3 different stores, Manchester, Oxford and Chiswick.

The first assured me that they would come back to me that afternoon, but didn’t, so I phoned again the next morning only to be put through to Oxford store who led me to believe they had no record of my previous day’s call, but would chase it up.

Finally my next call took me the Chiswick store where I was asked “did I realise that all orders were made up individually “, when I referred her to the statement on the ordering site that my item would be delivered within 10 days, she said that the Manchester store were dealing with it, obviously no one from there had come back to me at that stage so no I didn’t know!

The member of staff at Chiswick’s store also told me, quite condescendingly, that getting upset wouldn’t help the situation, I felt that I was being particularly patient considering I had a visitor coming to stay well outside the original time for delivery, but time was now getting short.
Finally the staff member from Manchester did come back to me to say that he had dealt with it and that couriers would be in touch.

I received an email from them and delivery was arranged, my item was delivered on the right day and time that they specified, and was very smooth.

So pleased with our mini butter dish. Its perfect and love that the lid sits so well to avoid getting butter on it.Great service and arrived really quickly.

The information prior to delivery was helpful. The delivery was on time and the delivery was carefully handled. The assembly was not too difficult even though we’re both in our 70’s. We love it but find folding the mattress back up challenging- but we’ve only had to do it once. I’m sure we’ll get better in time!

Bookcase is well designed, good quality and easy to assemble. Delivery was very quick.

Small covered dishes, ideal for holding small amounts of butter, especially useful during the hot weather.

We bought a futon for our new house. One of the threaded pins was bent, making the item unusable. I contacted them immediately and they went out replacements, except they were the wrong size. It is now two weeks later and no new replacements have been provided, despite emails and many many calls. Unfortunately their phone system routes calls to the first available store and despite assurances that someone from the head office would call back and I would receive a routing number, no information has been forthcoming. The item is unusable and we are left with no choice but to raise a section 75 credit card refund as the company is not cooperating. Would not recommend.

Delivered on time, and as described. Assembly straightforward, and chair is comfortable and fits in.

I have purchased many items from futon. Always pleased with the furniture and items ordered.
Where there have been problems the employees have always been helpful and the items replaced without fuss.
Would not think twice about ordering again from Futon .
