Not used a main dealer previously and always used motor supermarkets. Found the whole purchase experience really straightforward with everything that was promised carried through with no problem. The vehicle I bought came with spec I wanted with much better warranty and after service but at a very similar price to the supermarkets. Much better peace of mind over the purchase. Trade in price was competitive too. Happy to recommend Furrows and use again in few years.
Excellent customer service from Joe and a very good car, which I am enjoying driving.

Avoid at all costs!!!!! My first encounter with them was when I dropped off my car to be looked at. I was having some slight trouble changing gears over 2000 rpm and was advised to have a specialist engineer to look at it. Upon entering the garage to drop the car off I was very rudely ignored and told to go to a different desk where they would check the car in. I was told over phone that they would charge me £140 for an hour to look at it. Once checked in they said that they would require the car the whole day which was not possible as I had work later that day after a lot of back and forth they reluctantly said they would try and fit it in, in the morning. After an hour went by I had a phone call to say that the car had gone into limp mode and was no longer drive able after a 2 mile test drive. Bearing in mind that I had been driving the car round the day before and the morning of absolutely fine. They then proceeded to tell me that they needed to look at the car more and it would cost me another £600. After speaking to another mechanic that I trust I was told whatever I do, do not pay the money and bring it to them instead! Upon going to collect the car I was told that the car had not gone into limp mode now and was just a bit harder to get into gear. I drove the car for about 200 metres and the car broke down outside the garage. It was not going into any gear at all and would not drive. I was advised that the car had not had anything done to it and all that happened was a 2 mile test drive at 30mph. I don’t believe this at all! After a lot of complaining over the phone I was told that I could have a 50% refund. I have tried to log a complaint with furrows and get the remaining 50% that I’m owed but nobody has contacted me so this is my last resort! Stay well clear of these scammers!!!!!

We have used Furrows a couple of times for servicing.
The previous time, we had some post service problems that we had to have fixed at another Ford dealer as we could not drive back from Brighton to Shrewsbury with a clonking noise after having the brakes (discs and pads) changed in Shrewsbury before driving down for work and they hadn’t cleaned up things properly afterwards. Brighton sorted it for us and agreed that it was Shrewsburys fault - Shrewsbury claimed they couldn’t refund us the cost but would knock it off a future bill so we agreed.
So to our next experience. We booked the vehicle in for an interim service and cam belt change (the dreaded wet belt type that are perishing randomly and prematurely). They reduced the quote for us as previously agreed and we booked it in for a few weeks later. After driving back from London (again from work - we work everywhere!) ready for the next days service booking, we receive a call to cancel as they haven’t got the belt! They promised to prioritise our belt order and let us know when it arrives. Now, I appreciate that everyone is demanding these belts due to them snapping or shredding but that is Fords problem and we lost a days money from this cancellation. Thereafter, we never received phone calls to update us and ended up chasing twice weekly annd left messages and never got return calls.
Finally, the belt arrived and we got booked in. When we were supposed to collect, we were told that the work had been done but had caused an oil leak on the sump so we’d need to give them another day to sort and seal that.
Finally, we got the van back… but had to drive straight to a valet centre to have it cleaned as it seems Furrows don’t bother to
a) clean your vehicle when servicing (Brighton do, Yeovil do, in fact all other transit centres we’ve been to do!) or
b) worry about protecting your van carpets from their oily boots. Yup, lovely sludgy oil and dirt all over our expensive fitted carpet and step. We’ve never experienced a place that doesn’t put protective covers on your floor or seats!
This is the worst transit centre we’ve experienced. Sadly therefore cannot recommend.
Edit to add: we had to return our van once again as the oil leak persisted and had to be fixed AGAIN!

I bought a car in furrows a few years ago along with a service plan for 3 years that i payed extra for. During the first year they only replaced the oil and the oil filter, the next year i took my car for service and they did absoutly nothing. I strongly recommend not buying from this company.

Shocking service! Not worth 1 star.
My Sportage broke down and was towed to the garage in Shrewsbury on 26th April. Gear issue, which was identified by the recovery. The car was under Kia 7year warranty. No courtesy car available. However, when i asked for a collection date, was told it would be a few days. Furrows didnt look at the car until 30th April. Next they repaired the gears issue, then tried to sell me a new clutch ( £500 but labour was free as the gear box was out). Next they damaged the car repairing the gear box. We chased the collection of the car day after day, constantly being fobbed off. My wife picked the car up today, and no surprise they didnt even clean the car, i know there is no requirement for this, but customer service is truly awful. I wil be going elsewhere with my car.

I have used furrows for several cars and never had any problems with purchasing or getting the car serviced. Would buy another car from them next time.

Very helpful sales and service staff 5 star service from them . Used vehicle valeters are not up to much . My fiests just had a basic wash and tyre shine . Chocolate stain on passenger seat .

I went to collect a purchased car and when I arrived I discovered the head gasket had gone as there was water in the engine oil. This is a £800 repair and I was offered just £100 to take the car. Cowboys or what? Judging by the 29% 1 star reviews on this site I suggest a lot fewer customers will be bothering to go to Furrows.

Brought a car recently from Harj at Kia, Telford. Harj had excellent customer service skills, welcomed us and was respectful and non-pushy which is what we liked and that approach does work with me. Harj very friendly, knowledgeable, and was a seamless process. Thanks Harj and take care

Reserved a vehicle with Tony which was exceedingly easy. Received a great video of the vehicle when it arrived. Unfortunately I decided on a different vehicle as the good lady preferred it. But i just wanted to say that Tony was great and would use these guys again. It's amazing how a bad review can turn you off. But you have to make your own decisions and I am glad I did contact Furrows. Unfortunately not enough people give positive reviews which shows are true colours and to easily write bad ones. Tks Tony appreciate all your help.

Went into furrows shrewsbury with the intention of buying a new car
Seen one I liked and was offered a 48hr test drive .
All was going OK until the salesman went to take copy's of my ID when he was approached by another salesman who who prceeded to tell him I'd be a waste of time as I have a leased car .
The fact is I could of actually paid cash for 3 new cars if I'd of wished .
In future furrows of shrewsbury may I suggest you tell the salesman not to be so judgmental not everyone with a bit of money looks smart all of the time and my car was due for hand back .
Never again would I recommend or purchase from furrows

Friendly, efficient and reliable. The team are very helpful at the front and always go above and beyond when I come in for a service
Took my car to furrows today for a service. The customer service I received was very good. But I was told that the front brake pads were 75% worn and the rear brakes were 80% worn. I Bought this car from Furrows’s and I have only had it since September 2023. I have not even done 10,000 miles in yet and the break pads are already worn. I was told that the rear breaks are going to cost me over 200 and for the front break pads over 500. When I purchased the car they declined to service it. When I told the lady that was dealing with me today, she said that they should have serviced it when I bought. She then went and spoke to the sales team to see why it had not been serviced and to find out if they could do anything. She came back and said that they would not do anything. The only way they would have sorted it would have been if the work needed doing today. I just cannot believe that they sold me such an expensive car that needs almost £800 of repairs still doing on it. I will not be buying a car from furrows ever again. I will be reporting this to watch dog.

Do not allow your vehicle to go there for accident repair. They had my car for 12 months after a serious accident. They failed to check the structural integrity of my car. It had a leaking roof, damp and mould. They assured me it was fixed. They returned the car not only without it being structurally checked, but with a leaking roof, damp and green mould. The automatic tailgate also did not work. Also to top it off my daughter found a vape in the glove box ! They could not fix my car, so ended up buying it. Shocking communication and failed to take responsibility for their poor standard of work. Who would return a car that's potentially not safe ?? They had my car for 12 months and failed to do the basics and check it's safe to drive! Never use Furrows and never trust the work that they say that they have done. Furrows reply is priceless-shows poor communication within your team. Your work was that bad you brought my car off me !!!

Terrible, they operate a switch and bait sales tactic. PCP went from £130.00 quoted to £190.00 a day later when I gave them the go ahead. Apparently Mazda were no longer offering the low rate but another dealer had no problem giving it to me and selling me a car.

Probably the worst experience I’ve had from any dealership and I’ve brought a lot of cars! Visited the used van Center in Shrewsbury. The sales rep wasn’t interested! He said “if you are not committing to buying that vehicle you can’t test drive it”. Never had this before. How do I know if i like it if I’ve never driven one before.
