Bad sales team and lack of customer care

Bought a new 2025 Kia ceed as a cash purchase. I joke from start to finish never had a ceed for me to test drive or view ony a sport version which was a total different car sales manager tried to get me to buy a pre reg when I clearly wanted a new one they ordered me my car in the wrong colour had to re change it documents said 1ltr even though they don't do a 1ltr had to change to 1.5ltr. sales guy was incompetent and made me stressed and frustrated. Buying a car supposed to be a pleasure not a struggle. When I finally collected car I had to bring it back and they booked it in to work shop as doors need realising and back door buckled needs reshaping. Not even had it 24 hrs wanded cash back and had car back told boss on holiday so can't do that I called Kia UK who was discussed and said if required after work done if un happy cand have refund but as furrows in a franchise for Kia it has to be up to there responsibilities. I asked for compensation for incontinence still waiting for a response. Never buy a Kia again or use furrows again.

After the RAC were unable to fix my car…

After the RAC were unable to fix my car I booked into Furrows Telford service department for last Thursday. I advised what the RAC had said was wrong with it. After drop off at 8.30 am on 20th March they still haven't fixed the problem despite getting the go ahead from me to do the work. They said they'd call me on Monday and didn't. I rang 7 times yesterday, they only answered one call,left me hanging for 15 minutes then put the phone down. At 5.45 pm yesterday I had a message saying they would call me between 8.30 and 9 this morning with an update. They didn't call. I had already sent an email saying I was fed up of waiting for them to do the work so I was going to collect the car between 12 and 1 today so don't do anything that won't be finished by then. When I finally got to speak to someone today he was surprised I wanted my car back after 8 days!! He claimed they'd already done most of the work (even though someone from the garage said yesterday they hadn't started it). And he claimed the suspension arm had broken so I couldn't take the car away. I said I'd get it towed home! Absolutely diabolical cowboys.

Jobsworth.

My car was booked in for pick up and return today,no one showed up when I phoned I was told by the girl who had taken my call last week,that I hadn’t booked it in only asked for advice, as if .she virtually called me a liar.I now have to wait another week, sorry but to my mind this is not the way to keep customers.

I went a long way from home to source my van from a lovely family owned Ford commercial vehicle dealership where they are knowledgeable and helpful. I dealt with Tony Morgan personally, however I would be surprised if they are all not just as easy to deal with.

If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would! excellent customer service by Lou. Organised a mini valet, the car was collected and returned, shiny bright within 2 hours, most impressed. The driver was professional and helpful :)

Dan Hicks. Thank you for all your help in sorting my new car for me. You have been a delight to work with, keeping me updated during the last 4 months via telephone/email.

Both of these lovely people need a pay rise in my opinion as they have both worked extremely hard to make sure my needs have been catered for.

Cannot Be Trusted

Confirmed by Furrows, in writing, that the car I was viewing had FSH, then confirmed again verbally that yes, it definitely has FSH. 3hr round trip. When it came to making the purchase they were unable to produce any evidence of a service history at all because the car I was about to buy hadn't been serviced for 5yrs! Absolute blatant lies, thank goodness I didn't fall for it and buy myself a load of trouble. Would not recommend and sadly very disappointed.

Absolutely excellent service from Tony…

Absolutely excellent service from Tony in commercial sales. He is extremely knowledgeable, polite, friendly & goes the extra mile for you. I have bought my last 3 cars from Furrows, Shrewsbury & will continue to do so as I trust them completely

Excellent Service

Excellent Service.
I was once again impressed by the friendly, helpful service team at Kia Shrewsbury. The reception team are polite, professional and efficient. My car was ready on time and I was informed promptly.
A special thanks to Leanne, who always goes above and beyond to help and advise me as a customer.
Highly recommend.

I purchased a second hand 208 from…

I purchased a second hand 208 from owestry ford. I had the vehicle 7 weeks. I didn't drive it much for the first 4 to 5 weeks but then started to use it regularly. Week 7 the engine management light came on. Needing the car as I do I took it to a garage who told me the dpf filter was an issue. 800 pounds later as the gold warranty doesn't cover it. I was told they would pass on the bill to see if the garage would pay as I had only had the car 7 weeks. Nothing. A phone call from the sales mamger saying basically tough. Never buy a used car from here. Not even we will go half's. Nothing. You have been warned. I'm getting a slight knocking from the front nearside wheel. I bet that's not covered either.

SKODA Fabia is fantastic

I would recommend the SKODA Fabia to friends and family because it is a very sharp looking car easy to drive the heating is amazing gets hot really quickly the seats are very comfortable and the interior is the most amazing black and red. The service I received from Tom in Oswestry was second to none he explained all the workings of the car both inside and out. Thank you I would have another Skoda, my partner has one also.

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM MATT HIGGS

If you are considering purchasing from Furrows Used Van Centre in Shrewsbury, I would strongly recommend, saving yourself a migraine!
If you do decide, atleast don't deal with MATT HIGGS.
He will do nothing but blatantly lie to you!
I gave this guy more than enough opportunities to be honest with me.
I had a nightmare of a drive, 8 hours in total and a cost that certainly could of been avoided.
I asked him, time and time again, to please be honest with me regarding the condition of a caravan,that was taken in as a part exchange.
A 2022 caravan that was described as 'Exceptional'. I've seen 10 year old caravans in better condition.
Not cleaned, tyres flat, battery flat or missing.
Parts of the interior damaged or missing.
Any good sales person knows to check over a car, van, caravan or anything they are looking to hand over to the customer, before the collection date and on the date.
He did absolutely nothing!
I'm out of pocket for his lack of professionalism.
I certainly made sure I received my £500 deposit back.
I don't want a response from Furrows, as it's usually a generated message.
So, make sure you don't deal with MATT HIGGS, you'll thank me for this advice.

Furrows Shrewsbury - Excellent Customer Care - Used Car Sales

I was looking for a used/nearly new car and was fortunate to be looked after by Brian Milnes - a man with the patience of a saint, as I was at the dealership for many hours and test drove several cars.

Brian was very knowledgeable, listened to me and quickly understood what I needed/wanted in a car. At no time did he put me under pressure to make a decision. I was more or less decided that I wanted a Mazda CX 5 with a manual transmission but Brian encouraged me to try an automatic as well. Boy, am I glad I listened to him. It was fabulous. I fell in love with it and paid £100 holding deposit to give me time to think about it.
Three days later, I went back and sealed the deal. I now own a lovely soul red Mazda CX 5 and I love it.
Upon getting home, I noticed a few scuffs and chips that hadn't been apparent at the time. No problem - I've just come back from the dealership, where they attended to these issues immediately and without fuss.
I can definitely recommend Furrows, and Brian in particular (tell him Analogue Girl sent you), although everyone working there was lovely.
Thank you Brian for everything and for the little gizmo you got me to connect my phone to the new USBC ports in the car. You've gone beyond the call of duty and I'm very grateful

Brilliant After service.

A couple of months ago I had an accident repair carried out by Furrows Accident and Repair Workshop and as fed back at the time what a fantastic job they did on my Audi A4 Avant.
I decided to leave the paint alone and only clean the car with a hose pipe only giving the paint time to fully cure before touching it.
Anyway last week I after carrying out a full wash of the bodywork I discovered a couple of small areas with clear coat overspray which wasn’t an issue and easy to remove but I thought it best to call into Furrows and see what they thought was best plan of action.
Immediately Donny the body shop manager came out and apologised for oversight and said he would deal with it straightaway.
Twenty minutes later Donny brought my car to the front of the dealership and all the overspray removed restoring glass smooth paintwork.
Huge thank you to Furrows Bodyshop once again for a brilliant service especially Donny who really who went above and beyond with the after service.
