Our little unpleasant story
Our little unpleasant story: We have booked our apartments via Friendly Rentals in May. Although, our trip is scheduled for the end of October. Yesterday (2 weeks before our flight) - they told us that there was a technical issue with their calendar. And our rent was cancelled. They also told us that they cannot find something similar for us... We have not seen any desire to help (taking into account that this was their fail). Of course - we will not book something now for the same low price as we did it 6 month ago.. And they also paid a compensation for us.... 5 EURO! What shall I do with those 5 EUR?? Buy two croissants? Now apartments cost is much more higher than for 5 EUR.... So, that is our unpleasant experience with this company. We will not contact them anymore... Even if they will be the last traveling agency.
If I had the same situation in my company - I would do the best to help my customer. I would suggest better places (I would have pay the difference). Just aiming that my customer would be satisfied and did not notice our IT issue. And they just told us that our booking was cancelled and they cannot help us... And payed 5 EUR...
P.S. Also, they are replying to emails for several days. My opinion is that it is not the qualified service.
Important addition! After I wrote this negative comment to them - they have replied to me by mail: "Thank you for your email. We are in receipt of your negative publicity on social media. Unfortunately your negative publicity has cost us considerable damage to our brand. For this reason we are not going to move forward with a Customer Care Case on your behalf." - So please, beware of this company. They are taking care not about you as a customer, but only about their money... That was an unexpected reply. By the way - I don't care about your technical problems. I've lost money due to your technical problems. And your aim was to do everything that is in your powers. But... unfortunately... not....
I just want everybody to be aware about this situation. Because this is not the service that was created to help people... This is the service to stole your money.

I have used FriendlyRentals in apartments rented in Sitges since few years. Their service is great! The flats promoted area ll good quality and good locations. In two occasions I had issues in the flat and had to call the emergency number for help in the flat. FriendlyRentals folks have been extremely helpful. I do recommend this service.

The Madville Apartment VII is in a …
The Madville Apartment VII is in a excellent location, close to practically everything you may need. Unfortunately, the apartment itself is located in a building owned by Friendly Rentals with very poor maintenance. The walls in the apartment are quite dirty and very thin so you can hear everything that is going on outside and inside the apartment. We rented the apartment for one month and had to handle the loud noise caused by the renovation of the apartment above us. Beware of your security deposit, the Friendly Rentals office is not so friendly when you ask for your security deposit back. We will no rent again with this company.

We had an excellent experience with Friendly Rentals. The Caliu Apartment more than lived up to our expectations. It was clean with lots of space. All facilities and equipment within the apartment where off good quality. In a great location. Lots off restaurants close by and a superb bakery a short walk away. We would recommend the company and the apartment. We have since booked our next trip to Rome in another Friendly Rentals apartment

We rented an apartment in Sitges
We rented an apartment in Sitges, Spain through Friendly Rentals and they were great. Not only was the apartment beautifully appointed and clean, it was in a great location with easy access to everything. All the furniture was clean and comfortable and the kitchen had all that you needed. The bathroom was nicely appointed, very clean and came stocked with toilet paper and tissues. Lots of closet space too. I had a little trouble with starting the rental process with them due to a computer issue but they responded very quickly to my issue and gave me another link to access the page I needed. They stayed in touch leading up to our rental date and were ready and waiting for us when we arrived. They even arranged transportation for us so we never had to worry about getting back to the airport. I would recommend Friendly Rentals to everyone. They are, as their name says, friendly, and extremely helpful. Their selection of apartments was excellent also. We had a hard time deciding which unit was best for us, but after we decided on a general location we found the perfect place. I would, without question, use their services again and again.
Zen 2 Apartment San Sebastián
We booked a three night stay in San Sebastián/Donostia with Friendly Rentals and were very happy on all counts. The staff who checked us in and out were friendly, efficient and punctual.
The apartment was spotlessly clean and well furnished and equipped. It was also in a great location.

Friendly Rentals Indeed!
We have rented three apartments through Friendly Rentals--two in Barcelona and one in Lisbon--and we will definitely rent through Friendly Rentals again for future visits to European cities. At our most recent stay in Barcelona, our apartment was perfect except I called in the morning to report that our shower control handle was installed incorrectly (hot/cold and pressure controls reversed). Small nuisances like this are typical for vacation rentals, but the Friendly Rentals maintenance staff came and fixed the shower handle the same day. The fast responsive service exceeded my expectations!

We rented a fantastic apartment in Rome with Friendly Rentals. Their communication with the booking was excellent and they also arranged a taxi transfer from the airport to the apartment with an English speaking and friendly driver. All in all an excellent experience and would definitely use their properties again.
