I have rented in FriendlyHousing for 2…

I have rented in FriendlyHousing for 2 years now. They never solved issues I had with my room or the house. The landlords are really mean and rude. They even threatened to throw my things away once even though I did nothing wrong. If I had some issue in the house, the landlord and the agency tried to get away with it by not replying and let me wait for more then a month, but then when I did something they immediately complain and threaten. And my issues of course were never solved. I tried to rent a new house, and of course, since I live in Eindhoven I apply for approx. 10 properties in Friendly Housing. I subscribed to their excellent profile but they don't even give me a viewing because they said "there are too many candidates".

Awful

Awful! We have booked a trip in 2020 but could not come cos of all borders were closed.. Friendly rental just took the deposition and promised me that we can use it late. Now when i wanted to use the voucher i got the answer that it is expired… So we lost the money and it was no trip…

Expiring vouchers for Covid

They offered vouchers for the cancellation of my booking last year due to the pandemic and are saying that it expires now when I still can't travel unless I give them a booking for next year. This is an unreasonable request as no one know what will happen in a year anymore let alone a months time. They should at least offer partial refund instead of taking money and saying you have to pre-book now to use the "voucher". They need to improve how they handle future situations that is not simply offering a timed voucher for such an unknown situation.

COVID- 19 GREED

COVID- 19 GREED. This place is awful. We are in the midst of coronavirus and they will not refund our deposit. Our travel to Spain was June 30-July 30 with our last week staying in a friendly rental property. My two stepdaughters have Diabetes Type 1 and my mother and her husband are elderly. There is no way we will be risking their lives to travel to Spain this summer but (not so) friendly rentals will not refund us. I emailed a second time after much news in the world has changed and Spain has announced a two-phase reopening of the economy and the staff member was rude saying "as previously stated.." So basically they are greedy and bad news. My husband is from Spain and we travel annually with a beach home south of Barcelona, however, we always spend at least a week in Barcelona, never again with these people!

Bad Conditions !

Zero attention towards their tenants (particularly students that live in misery and poor conditions) Not once did they took the time and effort to improve living conditions. Bad communication. They care only for the landlord's opinion and not for the tenants's opinion. UNfriendly housing

Our family had a wonderful stay at this…

Our family had a wonderful stay at this property and highly recommend to anyone staying in Madrid. It was the perfect size for a family of 4 (2 bedrooms, 2 bathroom), very well equipped, and perfectly located for walking to the main sites. We enjoyed our visit to Madrid and will definitely stay here again when in Madrid.

Our apartment is very functional for…

The apartment was very functional for us.The location was good buses and the subway were nearby. The apartment was quiet. The apartment was on the sunrise side. Wifi could have worked better. There is already some wear and tear in the apartment, but it didn't hurt us.
The apartment was bright. I also liked that the apartment didn't have a subway bustle, like the downtown apartment we had last time next to Plaza Catalunya. I think the beds were good.
Friendly Rental staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

Stylish studio apartment next to Las Ramblas

Our accommodation was spotlessly clean and in the perfact area of the city. Close to Las Ramblas and all the main areas.
Collection of keys was easy and we were kept informed prior to our trip.
A welcome pack of tea,coffee,salt,sugar,pepper and oil was waiting in the apartment always a nice touch.

The location is great!

The location is great! Elevator in the building helped a lot. The apartment was clean, but the shower doors were loose and not easy to close. Not enough toiletries for 4 people were provided, we had to buy soap, shampoo and toilet paper. The towels were clean. Collecting the keys at a different location was inconvenient.

Lovely Stay at Friendly Rentals Manel

From start to finish our stay in Barcelona was made special by the quirky apartment we stay in. It had everything a family would need to live there permanently. They also put in a few nice touches like a bag of some basic's , I.e tea bags, coffee, sugar, shampoo, toilet rolls etc just enough to do until you got to the shop. The apartment was in a lovely area with everything very close by. Aldi, Pharmacy and some lovely restaurants. I love the apartment décor and felt it added to the charm. My children loved it as well and enjoyed staying in the bunk beds. Bedding and towels was also provided which help with luggage allowance. All in All I would recommend this company as from Checking in to Checking out we couldn't ask for a better service and we would definitely return.

Appartement très moderne et très bien…

Appartement très moderne et très bien placé dans le centre de la ville à moins de 5 minutes à pieds de la rue principale. Tout les équipements sont modernes et fonctionnelles et l'accès y est très simple et sécurisé dans un quartier très calme et frais, parfait pour des jours chaud.

La literie de la chambre est complète et très confortable, de plus, le canapé du salon qui est énorme peu accueillir facilement 2 personnes, donc très fonctionnelle pour 4 personnes.

Je recommande fortement cet appartement pour son niveau qualité/prix qui est imbattable au vue des prestations fournis.

Very modern and very well located apartment in the center of town less than 5 minutes walk from the main street. All the equipment is modern and functional and access is very simple and secure in a very quiet and cool area, perfect for hot days.

The bedding in the bedroom is complete and very comfortable, in addition, the living room sofa which is huge can easily accommodate 2 people, so very functional for 4 people.

I highly recommend this apartment for its quality / price level which is unbeatable in view of the services provided.

Had a great stay in Barcelona recently

Had a great stay in Barcelona recently. Rented a 2-bedroom unit with Friendly Rentals Dover. Its location is superb, safe and near many amenities eg Urgell metro station, eateries and supermarkets. Best is having the bus stop for the airport bus pickup to the airport, just at the doorstep.
Will definitely use the facility again if coming back for future visits to Barcelona.....hola!!!!
