The cruise exceeded our expectations. The food was excellent,the staff were efficient, friendly and helpful.
The extra little gestures such as chocolates on the pillow at turndown , canapés every afternoon, fresh fruit , flowers and proscecco in the cabin on arrival were much appreciated.
The evening entertainment was consistently good.
Disliked the congestion of the view restaurant but liked the fact there was some waiter service .

Fabulous care and attention to detail. A wonderful first cruise for our family. From booking the cruise directly with Fred Olsen to disembarking, everything was so easy. The cabins were really comfortable and the service, food and entertainment were outstanding thanks to their wonderful staff. The Fjords were stunning. Highly recommend cruising from Liverpool with Fred Olsen.

Everything seemed so well organised and thought out. From the booking process on. Have to mention the excellent service of all the staff - and especially the poise and professionalism of the waiters in the Bloomsbury restaurant. Also the ladies who looked after our cabin were delightful. The captain obviously was inspirational for his staff.

Had a great time as usual.

First ever cruise and it was amazing! The food, staff, rooms, shows are all 10/10.
It is all so well run and thought out.

Boarding was so easy and well organised. Zero waiting in queues the whole trip. Staff were experienced, helpful, kind and really added to our experience with their humour. The whole ship was spotlessly clean which must have been the reason we didn’t hear of any illness. We are experienced cruisers. This was our first but not last cruise on FO.

Ship, ships crew, food, service, cleanliness were excellent. The new entertainment team were rubbish. Singing/ dancing EVERY night, and it's wasn't very good. ( songs from Mary Poppins). Scruffy entertainment team. ( jeans, coloured shirt, trainers on formal night). NOT the usual F.O. standards.

Recent Cruise to Norway was excellent , and any request I made to adjust adjust booking were attended to helpfully by staff who went out of their way no matter their role,

Everything was superb, the staff, the food and the organisation of trips etc, the cabin we had No 1862 was very clean and tidy but at time unbearably stuffy and warm and the air conditioning did not seem to be working, the gym area was similar on four occasions.

From checking in to disembarking we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The cabins were spotlessly clean and a good size, the staff endlessly helpful and efficient and the food delicious. This was our first cruise with Fred Olsen and we have already booked again for next year

All the staff are courteous and professional always willing to be of assistance which was important as it was my first ever cruise. The food from the buffet to the specialist restaurants were excellent, you could dine on just the buffet the whole cruise and not be disappointed. The ship is a wonderful base from which to explore new places.

We have cruised before with bigger boats but loved our time on the Bollette and the cruise we did the scenery was breathtaking and being a smaller boat felt more intimate food excellent staff excellent attention to detail excellent had a wonderful time will do it again in a heartbeat thank you x

Great cruise, good accommodation and food to a high standard

Amazing Cruise, one of the best my Mum said she’d ever experienced! I loved it too! I never heard one complaint off anybody, everyone on board said how fantastic the Food was, the wealth of activities, the cleanliness, lovely decor and how well appointed The Bolette was inside with 2 pools, the spa and well equipped gym. Though not the prettiest ship from the outside it hides its beauty within. the entertainment was really good for a small ship!
The staff could not do enough for us they were so helpful, kind and caring. The rooms were really spacious that we had they were lovely and clean. Service was excellent. I had no complaints at all. There’s a lot of of snobbery around cruising and those that are snobby about Fred Olsen, Well, I think you’re missing a trick!

Dancing - Anton was amazing so was his partner who's name I can't spell sorry. John, Jan, Ashley and Margaret were so forgiving of our clumsy attempts at the routines ( we got some by the end ). Choir was brilliant Keenan was wonderful - only disappointed not to sing as a finale to cruise which we've enjoyed on other cruises on central stair case. Our waiters Jose and Atul couldn't have been more attentive they were amazing. Our cabin was kept beautiful by Rhea. The shows were phenomenal a great team lead by the so funny and talented Cory. Wasn't bothered by the trips as everything for my dream holiday was on board especially as it allowed my mum who has dementia and mobility issues to really have fun with us turning back the clock to when she danced with my dad. Thank you everyone.

Did the fjords tour on the Bolette. It was great, lovely food with a different choice every day. The staff were brilliant, very caring and hard working. Stayed in a double suite which was absolutely fantastic! Would book with them again.

Best holiday for many years. After doing a cruise on a larger ship 10 years ago I said I would never cruise again. Now I can’t wait for my next Fred cruise

staff are brilliant one thing that let me down was lumpy pillows and a ripped duvet cover ,

Good organisation and very efficient staff and crew
I was in Room 2567 and Monichita my room stewardess was superb. Very approachable, very friendly and very hard working. It was also really nice to meet Ellen again who was on Guest Services, and who I had met on a previous cruise.
There was a little disappointment when we went on the Explore Harris coach trip. We visited the Harris Tweed shop and the whisky distillery but sadly had no time to have a look round the village centre, before being whisked away to have a look at the beautiful beach. It was far too rushed. as we spent just as much time at the beach as we did at the tweed and distillery. The lady guide with the occasional humorous input of the driver was absolutely superb. Needs to start a little earlier to get everything in.
