'Franske Biler' THE worst place to bring your French car

In the process of exporting our car, we brought it to this shop to get a full check and repair before inspection. After the check-up, I was told that the rear center brake light is not working, some lightbulbs need replacing, and that all brake pads/disks and tires would need replacement. I agreed to this, and had them make the repair. When I went to pick up the car, I saw an insect in the headlight that was not there before. They insisted it was. When I started the car, I heard rattling in the front. When I opened the hood to check, I found they had left the headlight cap on top of the engine. If I had driven off, this plastic cap would have melted and ruined my engine/exhaust. They apologized. I then took my car down the road for inspection. The first thing checked was the rear brake lights. Surprise! The center light that was apparently replaced is not working. I returned the following day to resolve the issues. The owner took the car in again and said he would make it right. We first agreed on a refund of the labour cost and inspection fee. Afterwards, he changed his word saying that because he spent time to make things right, this should be enough value to settle things. After discussion, I left with only a 600 kr. refund of the total ~13000kr. I spent. I have doubts about whether they actually completed some of the fluid changes and repairs. I do not recommend this place. There are many options available in Copenhagen. Avoid this one.
