Great item fast service

What can I say except that I’m deeply disappointed.

I ordered Versace prescription glasses with Amber Gen S Transition lenses. Unfortunately, the coating on one of the lenses failed in less than two weeks. I returned them for service under the 30-day warranty, and while they did remake the lenses, the new ones were returned loose in the frame.

Now I’m left with two options: pay out of pocket to have someone else fix FramesDirect’s mistake, or send the glasses back a second time and wait weeks for yet another repair. I likely will have to take them local to repair them because I can't wait endless weeks for warranty service. Frankly I am tempted to submit a claim to my credit card company at this point for any repair adjustment.

This is the same frustrating experience I’ve had with FramesDirect in the past. I’m not the type of customer who returns items for no reason, but when a company is going to make and install prescription lenses, they should get it right the first time—not on the second or third attempt. The customer service has been consistently poor over the years. It's always problem after problem after problem anytime I order from this company. Truly a terrible experience! You get what you pay for, I guess.

Great selection, found what I was looking for. Order was processed and delivered on time.

Wasted over two weeks for frames that were no longer available. After about a week I received and email that the frames would take an additional 5-7 days to arrive for the lenses to be put in. After more than 2 weeks of waiting my order was cancelled due to frames no longer being available from the manufacturer. You need to do a better job of showing what’s actually available on your site so people aren’t wasting time waiting for something that isn’t an option and could instead find other places to purchase what they want in a timely manner. Not a fan of your site and will be purchasing through somewhere else with actual available options to choose from.

I had seen these polarized Ray Ban sunglasses in an eyeglass shop, however they were out of my price range. I searched online and found them at Frames Direct for a lot less! I received them quickly and I love them! I will be purchasing new prescription eyeglasses from them as well!

Send faulty product now I have to wait return it redo everything and they are doing nothing about it to make it right horrible customer service and the product should have been checked before it even left for shipping.

As of 27 Apr 2026 there has been no follow up by management.

Box was crushed during shipping misaligning the frames. Soft case in cluded with the frames are not protectective of the wire frames clamshell case would have been better. Frames were correct as ordered and once adjusted I should be happy with them. Also I couldn't find that Frames direct carrys the manufacturer (Shuron) clip-ons for these glasses so I'll have to get those through a different vendor or the manufacturer.

The transaction was easy. The shipping was efficient and the price was right.
