Shocking service. The 'lady' on the phone is a terrible agent. Not people skills whatsoever. Just drones on and on about nonsense in at attempt to get money from you!
Attempts to quote legal matters that are not the case. Shame that the effort she makes on these calls isn't used for good as she is just wasting everyone's time.
Stay well clear!

Has anyone managed to get hold of Formations House recently? I have been trying to contact them for the last three weeks, as they have not renewed my account even though I have paid for it. The main telephone number rings off after 7 rings, and the accounts number goes to an answerphone, but they don't call back. I have sent numerous e-mails, but they are not answered.

I had a very bad experience with formations house. The prices are higher than those of the other agencies but the services definitely lower!! I payed for a virtual office service to get a very important mail by my bank. The mail was sent twice by the bank and they lost it or maybe they weren't able to dispatch it. I tried to explain my urgency but the answered me with the same words (answer readymade). But the worst behavior is that after 3 month of the Ltd opening they weren't able to forward me me an important mail by Hrmc (tax).. So as, I suspended my account, with a huge loss of time and money. Absolutely don't trust them!!!

If you need quick turnaround, replies in an appropriate amount of time or customer service, go elsewhere.

Have requested a refund. As usual, no response.

I have paid in advance, so what happens with my orders ????

My own fault, I had read bad reports of this company but decided to give them a try. Last month I attempted to set up a company that was listed on their website as available. I duly paid the fee but not having heard anything further I telephoned on 1st of May only to be told that they had sent an email asking me to forward proof of identity passport bank statement etc. I advised them that I had received no such email, they sent me another and I forwarded the info required.
Not having heard anything further by today's date 12th May I telephoned again only to be told, wait for it, " we sent you an email on the 6th may advising that the company was not available ". Again no such email was received by me.
At this point I said that I no longer wished to deal with formations house and requested a refund, I was told to put my request in writing.
I asked to be put through to a manager and was transferred to Oliver Hartman and asked him to process my refund. He advised me to read the terms and conditions and I would see that they are not obliged to make refunds.
I pointed out to him that the company that was showing on their website and which to the best of my knowledge I had purchase was still showing as being available and as such could still be purchased by any number of people even allthough companies house had advised them that it was not available. He advised me that they did not take it off the website until they are advised of it not being available and laughingly admitted that this could result in hypothetically 10 people or 100 people paying to buy only to be told bad luck.
Oliver did ask me once again to email the company for my refund but said he would not commit himself to how long that was going to rake. I emailed immediately and will keep you posted.
Incidently as with a previous poster he wes very reluctant to give out the name of managing director but when pushed came up with Sam Solomon, I will look into that.

I live in New Zealand and I ordered and paid for a UK virtual office. I was given a New Zealand virtual office - no use to me! I was told with no justification that it was my mistake and they wanted more money to set up a UK office. Before the NZ office was set up I had emailed them more than once asking for confirmation of the UK virtual office details but with no reply.
I am totally disgusted with this company.

Further to the review below, Formations house got in touch and were very prompt in refunding my money and apologising. There were actually two separate issues but I bothered to list only one. They apologised for both and refunded both transactions. That is more like the formations house I used to know. I have therefore upgraded to 3 stars.

I ordered company formations from this company. In truth, they used to be good, but something has seriously changed. I ordered two separate services, none of which were performed. Once they've taken payment, if anything goes wrong, they will not answer your emails, and their staff will even be rude to you on the phone. Oh, and it's the same lady Delphine mentioned in the bad review below... For one, I tried to register a company for my sister. Their system did an online search which confirmed the company name was available, and I was taken to a payments page where they subsequently took my payment. surprisingly, they then came back to tell me the company was already registered!. As it turned out, it was nonsense and my sister was able to register the company herself two days later via companies house! I have made numerous phone calls,and sent numerous emails since with no sign of a refund. IT TURNS OUT THEY ARE REGISTERED IN THE SEYCHELLES AND THEY DO NOT CARE IF YOU THREATEN TO SUE THEM!

I needed some advice on setting up my company in the UK that would trade internationally. They provided very clear advice and a number of options. Once I had decided they actioned everything within the same day. I have since purchased some additional services from them and now trying out their e-commerce packages too. Generally I am impressed as I previously spoke to a local solicitor to get the same advice and they didn't give me any clear information and the only option they offered worked out about 5 times the cost of Formations House. Would recommend every time.

The company do their best at sorting out my needs and wants as a customer. They are highly professional and have a uniqueness about them. They are unique because though a company they are very thoughtful, attentive and do their very best to assisting where possible.

I paid for the offshore company formation in Belize with them and they keep on delaying it from last 1 month. No response to emails and when I call them their staff is always in meeting or have no answer but lies to me.
The lady Delphine working there told me one day that Belize registry is closed so she can't update me the status then i told her Belize is 7 hours behind us so its just 10 Am there how come its closed then she changed it to something else. She keeps on telling lie. I would not recommend anyone to take any service from them. They are not cheap as they are charging same money as others then why not try some reputed company.

We have been Formation House clients since April 2004 (over ten years). We used them for our initial UK Company Formation and, since then, for Registered Office and Mail Forwarding services. During that time they have been consistently reliable, courteous and efficient.

Most recently we used Formation House for an offshore Company incorporation. Again we their processes and support were at a very high level and extremely cost efficient (especially in comparison to using solicitors).

Formations House has for me been a window of opportunity. The company and your key people can always be relied upon to be factual, decisive and yet think outside of the commercial box for the benefit of individual businesses.

Formation House is imho not always the cheapest and fastest, but definitely very reliable and efficient - their staff extremely helpful and communication never an issue.
