what a joke these people are
what a joke these people are. When clicking on roxymandamn they say roxy hasn't posted any recent photos. Am I not surprised. Whenever I try to post some it either says name not available or if already a member sign in which doezn't work either. Looks like you will have to wait for them
Horribly Unreliable and Insane Moderation
Horribly unreliable, overpriced, and ridiculously inconsistent content moderation. Really, it used to be a good site years ago, but now it's a joke. Can't believe I wasted money on a Pro account. Never again.
spent half an hour putting up pics and…
spent half an hour putting up pics and writing descriptions. site is broken, gotta F5 spam and click buttons to go anywhere. it told me to buy membership first after spending 30 mins on photos telling me to buy membership to upload 42 low res pics
thanks for a negative nothing, this site has to leave the internet.

Used to be great but now absolutely useless, I'm an occasional user to look at photos but now all I get is a blocked screen telling me I need to upgrade to Pro

Flickr is a community, after all that noise from the various social media apps, we need again communities like Flickr.

Horrible company
Horrible company. Flickr deleted all of my photos without any warning or notice. When I reached out to support they replied with a boilerplate response that I violated their terms of service without any specific examples of how my content violated the terms I agreed to. My pictures were created by me and were suitable for all ages. Some examples of pictures on my account included a rotary phone and a cow jumping over the moon.
In fact, their terms of service state:
"In most cases, when a community member violates a community guideline, our trust and safety team will reach out to them via email. We will be clear about the infraction, applicable guidelines, and the potential consequences. However, in some cases where behavior seems irredeemable, we may not."
I would never trust this company with my data again. Their corporate entity named SmugMug, Inc is incredibly fitting. For an FTP last talked about in 2008, they are incredibly smug about their egregious treatment of their users. They made a mistake deleting my content, and they aren't willing to admit it or rectify it. If I could give them 0 stars, or negative stars, I would!
This company caters to liberal…
This company caters to liberal photographers & gives no credence to conservative ones. They deleted my account for no reason except I like our current President, so does more than half the country. Good riddance I don't need their website, bye
Absolutely heartbroken as they deleted backups with no warning
Absolutely heartbroken. I trusted Flickr with my most precious memories, only to have my videos permanently deleted with barely any warning. They sent one single email shortly before deleting everything - nothing more. Yet, when I reached out in desperation, they lied, claiming they had sent multiple notifications. That never happened, and I am 100% positive since it's my professional email and I always check the spam folder to make sure no work enquiries fall through the cracks. They did NOT sent multiple emails about this.
To make this even worse, I was forced to pay nearly £50 just to retrieve my photos, only to be told my videos were gone forever. Had I known, I would have done anything to back them up in time - but Flickr never gave me that chance.
Some of those videos were deeply personal, irreplaceable memories, and knowing they’re gone forever is devastating. Customer support made it clear there’s nothing they’re willing to do. No help, no accountability - just a cold, "they're gone and we can't confirm how many of them were deleted."
If you value your memories, do not trust Flickr. This loss is something I wouldn’t wish on anyone.
Thanks for deleting all my memories
Thanks for deleting all my memories, wankers, you must be so happy with yourselves now, what a horrible horrible disgusting people you are!!!
DO NOT USE THIS APP
DO NOT USE THIS APP.
Logged on after not using it for awhile, but I’ve had the app for about 10 years. Wanted to look through my childhood photos (grade 6-10) and discovered they had all been deleted bc i hadn’t upgraded to the Pro version. So I bought the subscription and discovered the photos THEY deleted cannot be recovered. I’m truly so devastated, I have lost all my childhood photos, with no warning. DO NOT USE THIS APP.
they are a overpriced service and them…
they are a overpriced service and them content review team are shit sometimes i think they are happy in anoy people
Avoid this useless company!
Absolutely agree with all of these reviews. I had over 3.5k images on this site and then on 12 Nov 24 they randomly purged a few hundred without any warning to enable me to do something about it. When I logged into my account today a warning came up saying images AT RISK of deletion unless I upgraded and paid £60 for a PRO account, it did not say ATTN we have already randomly selected and deleted a few hundred of your images. So stupidly I paid the £60 expecting the blank thumbnails to restore to pictures, but no they completely disappeared and whilst they "fully sympathise with how upsetting this must be" there's nothing they can do about it because it was more than 30 days ago.
Absolute disgrace.
Be warned, avoid this shower of sh*te at all costs. There are so many other options out there now.
Don't waste your money on this company!!
Too much to handle
Too much to handle. A single jumble. Don't mess with turbulent idiots. You will only waste time.
My paid Pro Account was Deleted with…
My paid Pro Account was Deleted with all photos since 2017 - 160,000 images, no warning, no reason, no explanation, no support response. ALL of my photos are gone and cannot be recovered. If you have your photos on Flickr - it's a time bomb, be warned!
A very poor at best and indecent sense of customer service
Unable to provide an answer to a technical problem with the flickr online photo editor degrading the original file. Not any will to figure out and solve the issue after 7 weeks. After this term, the customer service had even stop replying my numerous emails.
A very poor at best and indecent sense of customer service for a paid subscription.
LOSS OF ALL MY PICTURES IN FLICKR
No access to any of my 3 flickr accounts to download pictures that Flickr wants to delete (with only a few days notification of the pending deletion). The way Flickr verifies an account is for you to provide a copy of a picture you have in the account that you can't access. Duh!!!! Their temporary password didn't work to access the account so providing a photo from inside the account was the only option provided. Really very unimpressed that I am losing my pictures - highly recommend others not use Flickr ... ever!
Unethical Business Practices & Pixsy…
Unethical Business Practices & Pixsy Association
I’ve been using Flickr for years, but recently, my experience has soured due to what appears to be their close association with Pixsy – a company that seems to operate in a highly questionable manner.
Flickr seems to be a front for Pixsy's aggressive tactics. Out of nowhere, I started receiving harassing emails from Pixsy, and was refused the option to check in directly with Alex Proimos the photographer. As Pixsy is not an Aussie company and because their approach felt very scammy, I thought it prudent to check in with the photographer. At the time of writing this I still have not been able to validate his identity. I have asked Alex to call me directly.
The tone of the communication was threatening, more like a bully extorting money rather than a company protecting intellectual property. It felt like an attempt to shake people down for money rather than really supporting the photographers.
It's extremely disappointing that Flickr, a platform once beloved for sharing and discovering photography, is seemingly enabling this kind of behaviour. It's put a damper on what used to be an enjoyable experience. If you're thinking of using Flickr, be prepared to deal with the shady and aggressive practices of Pixsy. Beware before sharing your content here.
Criminals
Got an email from Flickr saying that unless I sign up to a plan they will make all my photos public. Isn’t that extortion? I think so!
