To Whom It May Concern,

I am writing to formally express my disappointment in how I’ve been treated as a long-time First Tech customer. After many years of maintaining excellent credit and a successful career that allowed me to always pay my bills on time, I fell on hard times during the recent economic downturn. Unfortunately, instead of compassion and flexibility, I was met with rigid policies and an unwillingness to help.

Despite my long history of on-time payments and loyalty, First Tech was unwilling to work with me to refinance my auto loan or lower my monthly payment to a manageable amount. I explained my situation clearly and even presented a plan to get my finances back on track, similar to the workout agreement I successfully arranged with my mortgage lender. However, your workout department refused any assistance.

I was told that the decision came down strictly to “numbers,” and despite my assurance that I would prioritize this loan above all other obligations, my request was denied. I was treated as a number, not a person. The tone and attitude of your workout department felt cold, dismissive, and entirely inconsistent with the values I once believed First Tech stood for.

After years of loyalty and consistent payments, I find it deeply discouraging that your institution would rather repossess my vehicle than offer a reasonable path forward. I am still working to meet my financial obligations in good faith, paying an inflated monthly payment simply to keep my account current,yet First Tech refuses to meet me halfway.

This experience has left me feeling that First Tech no longer values its customers or upholds ethical responsibility during times of hardship. Please do not respond with generic offers of “help” when your workout department has already made it clear that no assistance will be provided.

Brian provided excellent customer service. He was professional and prompt. First Tech has the best customer service hands down.

Working with First Tech has been great!
We have instigated contact over the phone, via email, and in person. All of our 'meetings' have been courteous, prompt, and informative. We have been thankful for their expertise, that will maximize our savings/checking/banking plans. We have been fortunate enough to have been working with Benny Mirsan, who has been knowledgeable, professional, and yet personable.

Excellent customer service by addressing a computer glitch to my Choice Rewards credit card - not transferring payment. Rep went the extra mile to update my checking accounts and discuss my overdraft protection. Rep was excellent.

As a widow with no prior experience with financial oversight, I was quite illiterate about banking. He has a very professional yet warm friendliness that put me at ease. I appreciate Nathan at the Cedar Hills Beaverton branch helping me out and actually getting me a physical card within 10 minutes. This is how it should’ve been at the Nimbus branch in Beaverton, which I was not too thrilled about, but Nathan has renewed my faith in first tech and I appreciate him so now I am able to actually have a card instead of waiting Like I was told at the other branch which I will not go back to anymore so thank you Mr. Nathan

I would give an all 5 stars to (Stephanie?) the tech support I spoke to, who was very professional and friendly, taking her time to walk me through each step to set up online external transfer, which is a bit complicate for seniors. I very much appreciate the help and time she took to explain and guide me through the process. Thank you
