It is a well made bird feeder.
However, we have had no takers yet. Too many starlings at present, perhaps when the smaller birds get their chance.

I saw this feeder advertised in a magazine I subscribe to. I had recently discarded a peanut feeder which was open to the elements and not fit for purpose as the nuts soon got wet and turned mouldy. This replacement is designed to eliminate that problem, it’s beautifully designed and made, so works really well, proving a big hit with the garden birds.
Expensive it may be but much better than the traditional type of feeder.

Just ordered my FOURTH Finches Friend to cope with ever increasing volume of birds since my first one which has been in use for 2 years. Absolutely best bird feeder in the game , well designed and built to last.
Ordering couldn't have been easier & was delivered within 2 days ,
Birds attracted to my feeders are Goldfinches, Green finches Siskin, Great tits, Blue ties, coal ties,nuthatch, and Robins. Because of the feeders design there is plenty of room for all. Great company to deal with and a first class product!

Great product and excellent customer service.

Ordering and delivery can’t be faulted. However not quite so happy with the feeder- the rim where the 2 parts of the zig come together seems too close to the feeding ring where the birds should perch. Save for a few blue tits, very few of our birds have been able to get used to it.

Quality product in design and materials. Wish we had found it 10 years ago. All dirty old feeders in the bin!

Hung your feeder out with my other feeders but none of the birds would feed from it. Is it only for finches?
Tried taking other feeders away to leave only your feeder but still none of the birds i.e. blue tits, great tits, sparrows, hedge sparrows, spotted woodpeckers came to feed from it. Have replaced old feeders back on the tree now as birds were getting hungry. Waste of money as far as I am concerned

First class service and product design. I recommend this product as a great bird feeder.

Feeder was despatched the same day I ordered it and it arrived the next day. Well wrapped, nothing broken. Feeder is good.

Overall I am very pleased with the feeder. I bought the double feeder. Putting it together was a bit fiddly and I fear some people would struggle a bit. I filled both chambers with sunflower hearts and hung it about 2.5metres from the small tree/shrubbery which acts as a safe place for birds to access the feeder from. Birds took a couple of days to get used to the new feeder and prefer the side closest to the tree so every couple of days I have to turn the feeder round. I may try some mixed wild bird seed as an alternative though have not had much success with it in the past.
Feeder capacity seems larger than necessary. Build quality is good. When I took my old feeder apart I was mortified by the muck hiding in the mechanism which was not readily apparent so am glad I have invested in a Finches Friend feeder.

Water proof, well made and easy to clean.

I bought the FF2 after finding your website following a search for the causes of our birds dropping and dying. Sadly, a couple of finches (chaffinch, greenfinch and others) were dying during the Christmas period and that despite me carefully cleaning the many stations and feeders we have in our rather large garden. So far, this has been such a good buy. We’ve noticed that there is less mess under the feeder, it’s easier to clean (did buy an extra bottom so less downtime) and far fewer deaths. A big advantage is that the pigeons and rooks can’t feed from it and it can’t be emptied by the rooks, as they did with previous ‘small bird safe’ feeders. Less food wasted means the cost of buying the feeder is quickly recouped. I like that there are two separate chambers to give two different types of food.
Buying nd delivery was easy and quick. It came well packed nd instructions were simple. Now will be saving up to buy another couple.

The feeders I bought look great. I haven't been able to use them yet as I had no means of attaching them to the tree. I have subsequently ordered two cables. I think it might be a good idea on your website to have a prompt when someone buys a feeder to ask them if they need to buy a cable as well. For first time buyers that's not abundantly clear, and it's a bit frustrating to receive the feeders but not be able to use them. No complaints otherwise!
