Highly recommend

We had a very positive experience with Feline Friends. The adoption process was very thorough, with frequent and clear communication throughout. We are very happy with our little tuxedo cat and Ellie checked in with us multiple times to make sure we were all doing okay. We'd highly recommend adopting a rescue cat through Feline Friends.

Purfect adoption process

The process was smooth and professional throughout. Ellie in particular was friendly, attentive and always responsive. She really took on board all of the traits that we were looking for in a cat, and matched us perfectly. She then carried out all necessary due diligence to ensure the cat would be going to a safe and caring home. Ellie followed up after the adoption to ensure our cat was happy in her new home. Thank you for bringing our lovely little feline friend into our life!

Good Communication and Safeguarding

Smoothly helped me adopt my perfect little boy cat (was looking for indoor only). They have strict and thorough rules, but all to ensure a safe environment for the cats who have often come from traumatic backgrounds. Thank you for matching me with my perfect fur baby.

wonderful experience - thank you!

our beloved elderly cat died in november 2025. it didn't take us long to realise that our grief was one thing, but the emptiness in our home was another - and the only thing that would help us heal was... a cat. it took a little while to arrange a visit from feline friends to check we lived somewhere suitable. this is pretty standard practice and seems fair enough to be honest! the kittens i had spotted online were already spoken for, but when barbara visited our home she showed us photos of some recently fostered kittens. two days later we brought them home and they have been an absolute delight to us ever since. initially gilbert was much braver of the two, with george hanging back watchfully, but now george has completely opened up and stamps about like he owns the place - which he does. really highly recommend feline friends! they were sensitive, thoughtful and a pleasure to deal with.

Our Perfect Indoor Kitten

We are so happy to have welcomed a beautiful classic tabby kitten into our indoor home from Feline Friends London.

From the very first reply to our enquiry, Ching was kind, friendly, and professional. We initially enquired about adopting an indoor cat, but he had already been reserved. Ching kindly suggested that we can join the waiting list and even offered a video call to see our flat and make sure it was suitable for an indoor cat.

A few weeks later, Ching contacted us about another kitten she thought would be a great match for us. We were delighted and arranged to meet her. Throughout the whole process, Ching handled everything quickly and made the adoption process smooth and stress free.

When we visited the foster home, the kitten was very shy, so we only saw her for a few seconds. Even so, we instantly fell in love with her and told Ching that we would love to adopt her. She contacted the foster family, who warmly accepted our application, and it was such a wonderful moment.

Now our little kitten is settling in beautifully, getting on well with our resident indoor male cat, and bringing us joy every single day. We are sending lots of her photos and videos to the lovely foster family who took such wonderful care of her during the earliest and most important stage of her life.

Thank you Ching and Feline Friends London, for helping us find such a wonderful new member of our family. We highly recommend them to anyone looking to adopt a cat.

These guys are such a tiny team of volunteers who care so deeply about the cats they save, protect and rehome. They are kind, helpful, and dedicated. And given the size of the operation, I think they do a brilliant job of caring for the cats they can

We had a great experience adopting from Feline Friends London. Ellie was really helpful and listened to ensure she understood our circumstances. We weren't sure whether to adopt an older or a younger cat but following her advice we ended up with an adorable kitten who we couldn't love more! The whole adoption process was really easy and we would recommend Feline Friends to anyone who is a responsible cat person.

A home full of cats

I adopted my beautiful Siberian through FelineFriends. From the first moment, Ellie was professional and gave great advice for managing the process of bringing our new beautiful lady home. It took her a while to start trusting us, and Ellie was on hand to give advice and comment on countless photos. They handled her sterilisation and vaccinations very well through a local vet. Ellie also stayed involved include through advice on getting our cat a kitten friend which has worked so incredibly well. So overall great advice from choosing our beautiful lady, to socialisation, and medical care they were so supportive.

Fast, but overly strict criteria for indoor cats

Thanks to Ching, I was able to adopt a gorgeous black kitty who just so happened to have lots of traits I was looking for (indoor-only, older cat, chilled out and cuddly).

I applaud the staff for doing their due diligence to check the home is safe for the cat. However, I spent a significant amount of money to make sure my upper balcony was catproofed. Of course, I was happy to spend that money to ensure the cat's safety, but I felt it was a little overkill given that the cat was specified to be an indoor cat. This delayed the adoption process quite a bit, but it was all worth it to adopt my beautiful cat!

That being said, the fosterer was absolutely lovely, willing to answer any questions even after adoption, and clearly had taken great care of the cat before passing her onto me. Ching was professional and communicative, and a lot more responsive than Battersea/LICK, who I heard crickets from. Thank you very much Ching.

Small but dedicated charity

Ching is truly dedicated to the work and ensuring that rescues are given the best chance to finding a good home. I was able to get matched with the most perfect cat after spotting him on the Feline Friends website. Would highly recommend this charity.

Fostering for Feline Friends

I have been fostering for Feline Friends since January of this year. Barbara and her team, especially Camille and Fiona, have offered excellent support. We recently fostered 2 kittens who were abandoned - they were successfully secured a forever home to loving owners. This is due largely to the vetting process conducted by Feline Friends. It’s been very gratifying to be part of this community.

Compassionate, caring and professional

Professional, Caring and experienced charity
I have been fostering with Feline Friends London for the past eight months, and it has been a wonderfully rewarding experience. Barbara, who runs the charity, is incredibly dedicated, caring, and always available to offer support and advice whenever it is needed.
Every rescued cat is welcomed into a loving home environment where they are cared for as part of the family. This gives each cat the individual attention, affection, and socialisation they need to thrive while waiting for their forever home. All the volunteers are connected via WhatsApp (there nearly 200 in the group) where we can share knowledge and advice and this support is invaluable.
What stands out most about Feline Friends is how deeply everyone involved cares about the animals. The cats’ welfare is always the top priority, and no effort is spared to ensure they receive the very best care. All veterinary checks and treatments are carried out thoroughly, and the team is knowledgeable, experienced, and genuinely compassionate.
It is a privilege to foster for an organisation that puts so much heart into everything it does. Seeing the difference they make to the lives of so many cats is incredibly rewarding. I cannot speak highly enough of Feline Friends London and would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone considering fostering or adopting a cat.

We had a great experience

We had a great experience. So easy to adopt our lovely cat and communication was very good from Kate throughout. We were asked to show our home on a video call which I don't think is a bad thing, considering they need to know these cats are going to safe, good homes. We arranged collection of our cat with the foster parent which was very easy and straightforward. We would really recommend Kate's services! Judging by the other reviews, we're very glad we managed to avoid Barbara as that could have been a different experience!

Feline friends have been amazing…

Feline friends have been amazing throughout mine and Luna’s adoption process. From the start, there was the care to make sure my living environment was suitable for my new cat. Detailed plans were agreed upon for Luna’s safety and comfort at home. It’s was a really nice touch to meet and speak with the re-homing team beforehand via WhatsApp. Once I went to meet Luna for the first time, the adoption process was super easy and simple. Luna and I are very grateful to all the team at Feline Friends. Keep up the great work.

The most wonderful experience! The rules are strict but it's understandable that the owners or fosterers want the cats to find the best and safest forever home. Very kind, friendly and professional team. Really lovely charity doing a fabulous job. Well done Feline Friends London!

Feline friends have helped me a lot…

Feline friends have helped me a lot over the last couple of years. First trapping a cat who had been coming to my garden for months and now is my beloved lap cat, and then find good foster and forever homes for the many strays in my area.

Please know that there is a massive stray cat crisis in London and charities are doing their best to help them.

What an awful organisation! AVOID!

What an awful organisation! AVOID!!
Enquired about adopting a cat. We live in a 4 bedroomed detached house down a country lane. Our cat sadly passed away after having him for 14 years. He had a loving caring secure home and we all miss him.
I found this charity online and wish id read the reviews.
They are not interested in you adopting a cat. They are interested in where you live and then want to have a zoom call about your property to see if your suitable. They'll probably ask what your household income is next!
I think this is an invasion of your privacy. We live in a beautiful rural area. We were prepared to go to London and meet the staff and cat.
However, I was emailed to inform us that we are unsuitable to adopt as we don't like their criteria.
It looks like we're not the only ones to have this problem with this charity.
What a shame. I feel sorry for the animals. What hope do they have?
Who ever is running this should step down. I would not consider donating any of my money to this organisation.
