Don't order Reconditioned OR ANYTHING
Ordered a Milwaukee PEX expander tool, reconditioned. It came missing the 3/4" head plus none of the heads would screw on far. It was defective from the factory in the first place. I called the day I got it and they said they would issue me a return label. Not getting it I emailed (3 times) did an online return request, called a few times (one time left it on hold for 1:06)... finally sent another email and got a replay -- they will not take it back. There is nothing on their web page or site about returns other than "30 day satisfaction." I initiated a credit card dispute and after charge was frozen they sent a return shipping label. "Eddie" or "Eddy" is a mythical person.
Stay away from FAO, horrible customer service.

Package sat in a FedEx hub for a week before I got told it was being returned to sender because FAO put multiple destination labels on the same package.
I've tried calling "Eddie at ext 214," their self-proclaimed problem fixer in all their other awful reviews multiple times, left messages, never got a call back.
I emailed "customer service" (HA) that I want to cancel this order and be refunded, and I am waiting to hear back. It could be days later, or they may just keep my money and never contact me like I'm already suspicious they are going to do.
Update to 'so-called 'Factory Authorized Outlet'…
So-called 'Factory Authorized Outlet' claimed to have shipped via FedEx, a Milwaukee Sawsall ordered on June 2nd 2023.
Claimed to have shipped on that same date and sent an email to that effect.
By Thursday June 8th they continue to refuse to furnish me with a FedEx tracking number after repeated emails asking them to supply same.
They crap 'tracking' system embedded in the email, continues (as of 0106 UTC 2023.06.08) to display 'We could not determine the appropriate carrier for your tracking number.'!
Bottom line: They have no Sawsall. Lied and Never shipped anything on June 2nd 2023 so cannot supply any tracking number. They are involving FedEx' name in this disgrace and should be put before the courts for it.
I'm going to file a complaint with the FTC about this, enclosing screen shots of their email, my debit card charges and the quote on their checkout page clearly showing shipping charges for FedEx.
Going to post this on every consumer review site I can find.
One must be fair so I upgrade FAO rating to a 4 star.
Evidently they passed my order along to a subsidiary.
FedEx delivered the shipment yesterday June 9th 2023.
Packaging/handling was quite good.
The tool is the genuine article (consistent with previous orders).
This is what customers expect for their hard earned dollars and cannot be proffered as an excuse for ignoring our communications - especially something as critical as a request for tracking particulars.
We are not ATM machines.
Once you the merchant, bill and ship an international purchase all else is out of your hands.
We sweat concrete bricks until we've cleared and checked the purchase - and after that too (recovering from the taxes, duties, levies, imposts, pre-tax inflated value of the goods et al)
Be guided accordingly.
PS:- As of June 10th 2023 0048 UTC, FAO in-house tracking system continues to display re. this purchase:
'June 2nd order ready to ship.'

They can’t even ship the number of items in stock correctly. Ordered 5 items, one on back order which I knew when I placed the order. received only 3 of the 4 items in stock which took a week. When contacted, they thought they shipped the 4 items. Won’t be buying from these guys again.

Missing Treadmill
I am helping a young man who appears to have been duped out of £94 by this company who like other customers have ordered a treadmill which has failed to arrive and which they claim to have delivered, He has emailed them several times with no response and he has tried to get a reset password link from them with yet again no reply. A pair of ray ban sunglasses did arrive the other day, I'm not sure this is a valid substitute for a treadmill!!
I would strongly advise against anyone using this company.

When i wanted to buy a Milwaukee bit set that's usually$20.00 in any box store i found it on factory Author what ever the long dumb name and the same $20.00 bit case was $239.00 simply put they're hoping someone will buy there obvious misleading prices and then dissolve the website and your money into there pocket ! like many internet companies these people practice what i consider to be deceptive advertising. They say item is in
stock and will ship when payment is received, when in fact, it isn’t but they get your money or tie it up until you realize what’s going on. You repeatedly ask for shipping info and each time you get a new story, another excuse until they admit it’s out of stock, it's in production, it's on a spaceship...whatever... and they have absolutely no idea when it will be delivered. So try and cancel the order so you can use your funds to buy the item elsewhere. They will drag this out for days and sometimes longer. Sometimes they are using your money and sometimes they just have better things to do. Without a guaranteed shipping date you are wasting your time, effort and money. Unfortunately PayPal is a kind of (perhaps unwittingly - but i think not) coConspirator/accomplice and if you bought the item through them, you can expect a hold on your account for as long as 30 days while they -guess what?- use your money at your expense. eBay and others have the ability to end this nefarious practice but choose not to do so because they get paid by the transaction. This is modern American business. caveat emptor is the name of the game.

2+ month nightmare
Item was good price and exactly what I was looking for (120v large tank compressor) so I bought. Delivery took awhile which may have been because of COVID-19, not really sure.
After arrival, while trying to hook it up, I realized that they had sent the wrong compressor/motor. I specifically needed the 120v model and they sent me a 220v model. I went back and forth with them over email for quite some time (they tried to tell me that I could run a 220v motor on a 120v circuit, it would just run slower) and they finally agreed to exchange the compressor for the proper one.
After 2+ months of dealing with this massive headache I finally received the new compressor and all is good.
UPDATE: After leaving reviews, the company has offered compensation for the mistake so thank you FAO.

Non delivery - Missing
I have been waiting for my Rebok treadmill to arrive to Australia since I ordered it 25/05/20. I have regularly been checking the tracking number, and when I looked at it today, it tells me that the item was delivered last week.... Well it hasn't. I've checked with Australia Post, and they say to contact the business that I ordered it from. So today I have emailed them, and hope to get a response.
