Good selection and advice with such a wide variety in stock - price was good too. Was slightly disappointed with the timing of delivery (much slower than the 5 days quoted), but other than that, happy with my purchases.

Very good product, well made from quality materials, arrived as ordered, on time - would recommend this without hesitation.

We were replacing our front door with glass side panels with double doors. We contacted External Doors On Line 20 October 2021 after reading their great reviews on google. I wish we had read the reviews on Trust Pilot too.
We were are the end of renovating our home before selling and had an open day viewing planned for 20 November - we have an elderly bedridden aunt who lives with us so a viewing day means we have to move her and carers to a hotel for the day, a difficult, stressful and expensive event for all concerned. Having the new doors installed prior the viewing day was important.
Our initial conversation was with Imogen who was knowledgable and friendly. We ordered and paid for the doors; explaining our time line and received a telephone call from Dan advising he could arrange delivery of the doors on 16 November. We were delighted, I even promised I would be sending them a Christmas Cake back with the delivery driver.
I made their cake, and at close of business on 15 November External Doors On Line wrote advising the doors would be delivered on 17 November. Despite the late notice, we were able to reschedule our installation contractor from 17 to 18 November and wrote back to say 17 November was fine.
The delivery date was moved a further four times - always at close of business the previous business day - leaving us and our contractor totally frustrated. Reasons given for delays ranged from needing to remanufacture one of the doors to no delivery drivers available.
The doors eventually arrived 9 December.
Our House Viewing day went ahead on 12 December without the doors installed - because by this time; understandably; our contractor was unwilling to block time to install the doors prior to their arrival.
On 14 December our contractor returned, removed our door and installed the new doors - they looked good - only one problem - they would close but not lock.
It seemed one door was 3mm narrower than the other, on maximum adjustment their was a 10mm gap between the doors.
To be brief - Dan advised us that they would manufacture a replacement door for delivery, he hoped, on Friday 17 December. I’m sure it will come as no surprise to read that the replacement door delivery was scheduled was delayed twice before it finally arrived which meant we could not lock our house for six days.
Be Aware - no matter what costs you may incur due to External Doors OnLines failure to deliver that which you have paid for when promised - the costs and any resulting problems are yours.
The doors are lovely - but there were no significant savings because of the problems and multiple last minute cancelations.
I donated their promised Christmas cake to a local food bank.
I would not recommend this company unless you are extremely flexible with your expectation of a delivery date.

Ordered composite front door in oak with matching frame in November this year at a very competitive price. Delivery was promised around noon 14th December, cost included in price. The door was delivered 11.40am as promised. Fortunately, my measurements were correct and the door was fitted the following day without any problem. One query I had (my lack of knowledge) was answered satisfactorily within the hour.
I would have no problem recommending this company, especially in the light of present day covid problems.

Ordered door was told delivery date had four deliveries finally got door after 12 weeks!!!! Lost next job from customer also my credibility. Was promised compensation from Dan at company now not even answering phone calls. Do not use this company they make empty promises they will take your money though!!!!😡😡

Bought a composite door, which was a competitive price and a scheduled delivery date was given soon after ordering. The door itself seems very good as does the hardware, although the frame is quite flexible and doesn’t seem to have any of the reinforcement which we’re all used to with modern upvc frames these days. The frame reminds me of the cheap upvc frames which were available in the 90s. With very careful fitting and solid packing behind fixings it should be ok though 🤞🏻. I made an expensive mistake in ordering a patterned glass panel which I thought I had confirmed via messaging with the company would be in clear glass, (but my message wasn’t accurate enough) Apparently, although the ‘online designer’ allows you to choose clear glass, some of the patterns are clear and some are patterned. Definitely room for improvement.
