Eventbright ripped me off

Eventbright sold me $399 Premium outdoor, front row seats to the 2025 Macy’s Day Pde.
The tix were for 1425 6th st and through thanksgiving parade.com.

I was expecting a premium outdoor front row seat with beverage and breakfast packages.
I received indoor shopfront seats, 20ft and 2000 people away from the front.
With the building scaffold above we couldn’t see the balloons, let alone the sky.
Sitting behind a forrest of arms and phones was not the experience that was advertised.

The packet food, cookies and pod coffee didn’t live up to the hype of “premium food and beverage”

Give thanksgiving parade.com a miss.
They ripped me off for $800.
Eventbrite should be ashamed to promote scammers and hustlers

Eventbrite is honestly the worst…

Eventbrite is honestly the worst platform I’ve ever dealt with. It’s been a complete disaster. They haven’t unlocked my payouts, and I have nearly €900 stuck there with no way to access it. They keep giving me excuses and pushing the problem back on me, telling me it’s my bank account.

I’ve already changed my bank details three different times, and the issue is still exactly the same. It’s been a month and a half waiting for a solution, and they still haven’t fixed anything.

Terrible experience — unprofessional, unhelpful, and unbelievably frustrating.
I absolutely do not recommend Eventbrite to anyone.

Appalling customer service

Appalling customer service; We're an eveent organiser and they switched on MFA on our account without ouur permission, locking us out of our eventbrite account. When we complained it took them literally days to get back to us. As we're paying customers we will be taking our business elsewhere.

Avoid Qwerky Events by all cost -

Avoid Qwerky Events by all cost -
Mis-sold tickets for a time slot of an event that doesn’t even exist anymore. Not responding to any of my emails, or messages on their social media. Conveniently, they don’t have a contact number to call either. Had to reach out to my bank to get my money back, absolute fraudulent behaviour.

Furthermore, Eventbrite did nothing to help or support me on this matter, it may be in their terms and conditions or policy that they won’t help what so ever if an organiser scams you but then it’s a sh*ty policy… Never using this app again.

Great concept, terrible in execution

A great concept but the site really doesn't work well...
..doesn't let you save because it gets caught up on address and then when you try to speak to someone its clearly an international call centre with accents so strong that they are virtually unintelligible

Scammers

Booked an event, 3 weeks before the event was due they rescheduled it a full year in the future. I request a refund by raising a ticket on their app, but got no response. 2 weeks after raising the ticket I am now having to go through my bank for a resolution.

Avoid Eventbrite – zero accountability

I’ve been trying since 18 September ( even before the event date) to get a refund for an event that changed its venue from Mayfair to a completely different location, in this case, Peckham. The organizer never replied, and Eventbrite keeps saying they’re “just a platform”, even though they took the payment.

They hide behind policies instead of helping customers. It’s been weeks of automated replies, no action, and no responsibility. Terrible customer service and no protection for buyers. Avoid using Eventbrite if you expect fairness or support when things go wrong.

Booked wrong ticket and requested a refund within seconds - they have charged me just shy of £23 for administration costs - there wouldn't have been any administration as it is on credit card it wouldn’t have had any time for administration to be done. No customer service or complaints procedure.

Event has never taken place

Does this company even exist?
I had to sit an online test in order to continue with my uni application. I waited for an hour for a link to be sent, but I have never received and this will slow down all the process.
So disappointed!

One of the worst platforms ever

One of the worst platforms ever. I was locked out of my own organiser account despite having access to the connected email and correct password. They then asked me to provide receipts for vendors, food etc when it was an online event. I had to cancel my event as a result of the issues. Basically no customer service at all
