Scammers

Awful company. They’ve been automatically renewing my policy for years without sending a single proper renewal notice. No emails, no letters, nothing. When I finally spotted the transactions and challenged them, they came back with a BS excuse claiming notifications had been sent, which is simply not true. The last actual correspondence I received from them was in 2023, followed only by a random portal email in March 2026, which is what finally exposed what they’ve been doing. Completely unacceptable and highly deceptive practices. Will be reporting them to FOS.

Motorcycle Insurance Renewal

Thought my motorcycle insurance was auto renewal but they emailed that it had ended. I contacted via web chat but they couldn't / wouldn't help. They gave me a link to re-quote! Last year I paid £162, new quote came in at £312!. Went to Compare site & got insured for £75 through Bikesure. I'd have stayed with Europa Bike but they forced me away. Their loss...and as it turned out my gain. Maybe should have given 5 * for the saving...but no, no, no.

The worst on the road

The worst on the road. I called exactly when I needed it. 2h waiting. After that, the man told me I need to carry on for 1/5 miles, because bla bla bla 250 kg of motobike and no help.

Cancelled properly and for no reason, I received a letter with £85, to avoid, although I disagree, I called to pay anyway, and another number, another company..waste time, no clear about outstanding balance.

If you like problems, that's exactly what you need

Bunch of Cowboys

Was with the AA. Wanted another £180 Cancelled the insurance to take effect Thursday morning, Went on holiday on Saturday. By Wednesday (4 working days) I was notified that my outstanding balance had been passed to CRS debt collectors for £100 + their admin charge, no warning text nothing. CRS have no record of me either, seriously peeved, bunch of cowboys who'll rip your off as soon as they can. God help you if you have to make claim, avoid at all costs

Seriously failing the customer

Seriously failing the customer. Usual false promises on taking out policy about being an efficient operation to get you back on the road. When it comes to needing them you call their claim number to be met by a ridiculously quiet phone line no matter how many times you call them. When you do get through you're speaking to some outfit called 4D who take details but do not pass any of the detail on to the Ageas underwriter. Get told to expect a call back but it never comes. They all sound bored out of their minds. So you get to repeated yourself again and again.
Just reinforces my hate of the whole insurance industry.

Appalling Service

Appalling Service. It’s “Chat Online” only.
Spent an hour and a half waiting while they chatted ‘What’s you registration’ You enter it, then yet another 8 minutes later (whilst they’re ‘chatting’ with other customers, for the next question (of which information you've already provided)
Was online (you can’t actually talk, that’d clearly be too much for them) for over an hour and a half only to be told, I couldn’t add another bike to my policy, I’d have to start a new one, a new enquiry and a new ‘chat’ I told them they could eff off, cancelled my existing policy, and started a new one with Carole Nash, and got both bikes insured for b 19 minutes. Eff off Europa. Appalling service

Appalling service!

Appalling service! Switched from AA with no choice given. Europa then cancelled the policy because a catalytic converter had been stolen from a car on my drive 4 years ago. Nothing to do with the motorbike they had on the policy. They then wrote one letter to state it had been cancelled on 24 April . One letter to let me know there was an outstanding £44, which I did not receive, another letter to state customers had received letters in error and then a final letter to state they had passed it to CRS debt collection with an additional £25 for their trouble. Years of trouble free, claim free customer service from the AA down the drain in a month !

Absolutely shocking

Absolutely shocking. Originally with AA insurance but passed over to these people. Cannot get through to anyone. Cant access my insurance details. Tried setting up their live portal that you apparently need to see your documents online. That's not working either. Basically I am stuck and not knowing what to do next.

This is a poor pathetic service

This is a poor pathetic service. I cannot establish if my bikes will be insured on the 6th April at what cost or how to access my documents as my email is no longer recognised I finally established that I would have to re-register on completion I still cannot access the documents, I will re-insure through another company and loose my no claims as I have no confidence in this company which I never choose having been with the AA. I can only imagine the service I would receive if i needed help with an insurance claim.

Absolutely shocked at this company

Absolutely shocked at this company. I had my bike insured with AA insurance and was told my policy was being transferred to Europa Bike without being given a choice.

I now need to amend my policy and their portal does not work, the Live Chat feature gives me a generic error message, there is no phone number I can call, and the email they provide for complaints when emailed gets an error that the email address DOES NOT EXIST!!

Surely it is illegal for an insurance company to be uncontactable like this!?

Me cobraron el depósito

They charged me the deposit, and then asked me for the documents to check by email, I sent them all the documents I have not received any email replies, they charged me the first instalment and after two days they send me an email that my insurance is cancelled, on top of that they tell me that I have to pay them fee cancellation and if I don't pay they will send someone to my house.
Threat, disbelief are creating insurance in UK, pity they still don't put a limit to their exaggerations..

I was interested is a renewal service

I was interested is a renewal service. As I sold my car. They renewed my policy automatically. Once I contact them that the car is sold. They asked for a proof of sale and I sent them the new keeper's v5c and the insurance cover on his name. That shows that he owns this car and got insurance cover on this car. However after sending all these documents, they responded that this is not sufficient and contact DVLA for further proof. Such a non professional service, never saw in my life!

Europa let conman use my mams debit card

I phoned Europa Insurance as someone had copied my elderly mothers insurance details and used it to steal nearly 190 pound out of my mother's account. My mother has been charged 20 pound by her bank on top of that for Insufficient funds to pay her direct debits. I have given Europa the persons name and they say they can't confirm its him because of data protection, what about my mother's data protection. The advice given to us was to get the man to ring and confirm he used the card without consent before they could consider a refund. In the meantime we have been in touch with bank who are considering whether to refund whilst my mother will still be getting charged for unsufficient funds. Europa did not phone my mother when presented with her card by this man to confirm it was OK to go ahead with the transaction. Disgusting customer service given my mother who is 76 and has no idea how to sort this problem out.
